Excellent spot to grab a delicious drink and eat delicious food. I really like the extra effort they put into making this place look nice and be comfortable for the visitors. The space is huge and perfect for social distancing. I'm sure most people are familiar with the delicious drinks that are brewed here, so I'll focus on the food here -- which is just as delicious. The nati twist is nice and fluffy, with a good firm skin and served with a delicious mustard. The three little pigs pizza is quite moist and rather greasy. But the crust is burnt nicely with a good wood flavor infused into the chew dough. The pepperoni is nice and crispy as well, not too salty, which matches well witht he sausage crumble. The blueberry bretzel is also very delicious with a delicious aromatic frosting on a nice fluffy bagel. The wings are nice and crisp with good juicy meat. The Amber BBQ sauce is smoky and slightly sweet while being just a little salty at the same time. This is well balanced and not too acidic, while having a good consistency. Such a COOL place! The aesthetic was beautiful and at the same time so chill and full of cool vibes. The food was absolutely delicious and we left so full. Got some yummy apps, but the one who stood out the most was their great pizza! I had to do a personal half and half to be able to try two kinds! Did not disappoint. Now... their drinks. WOW. I've seen parents have their baby children birthday parties there and I've been for a wedding rehearsal dinner and work hosted happy hours. They allow dogs outside on the patio area. The night before our visit, I had discovered that MadTree was in Cincy, so a visit before we left town the following day quickly jumped to the top of the list. We got here around lunch time on a Monday. They have a generously sized parking lot, and on this day at this time there was no issue finding parking. We walked in through the large outdoor patio. There is a long bar out there with taps and whatnot, but it isn't always serving at all times. So inside we went. It is also huge on the inside, and I LOVE the greenery that is all around and the plant wall. You still feel like you are kind of outside even when you are inside. We ordered our flights at the bar inside, paid, and then took our boards and beers outside to enjoy the afternoon. I love that MadTree offers a wide variety of beer styles. You can get your ever popular IPAs here, sure. But I don't care for those, so I like that they also have some blondes, sours, fruited beers, and so many others. I already knew I liked several of their offerings, but I decided to only get ones that I had never had before. The lemon basil blonde was bright and refreshing. The peach berliner weisse was interesting. The paloma gose was delicious! The nitro shade cobbler was THE BEST. The dreamsicle was perfectly sweet. Just wow. Great options, something for every drinker and every palate. Beyond the beer, there is a restaurant on-site as well, so you can balance you intake with some food. Went here while visiting friends in Cincinnati. So glad she chose this place for us to come!! In terms of Covid-- they are doing a great job with their regulations. We sat outside, where the tables were all properly distanced, and there was one way arrows everywhere you went as to maintain distance as well. I felt very safe and comfortable. The food and drinks here were great. We shared the bbq chicken pizza and the green pizza. Both were so tasty-- I love the wood fired crust! The char and crunch was unbeatable. I also ordered the veggie salad, which was a little heavy on the dressing, but still a great vegetarian side. The drinks were delicious and fairly priced. Plus, there were so many options!! My first time there was pleasant. And I plan on going back for sure. The outdoor patio seating area was big and not crowded. Which was great! I lovveeee that they welcome your pets there and it was so nice seeing everyone with their dogs. The atmosphere was just perfect. The MadTree is an awesome brewery that has become a must go-to when I visit Cincinnati! I haven't had the food, though it looks amazing. The bar staff are so friendly, and always willing to help you sort through which brews to try. I definitely recommend any of the IPA's but if that's not your fave just let one of the kind bartenders know and they'll hook you up with any of their amazing line up. I came here my second time around but never saw so many pups, as last time I was here it was night time. I had their hoppiest beer, can't remember the name of it now, but it was very floral tasting and smooth. Then shortly ordered grilled chicken pizza and it was so good! The service was quick and everyone was very friendly. My biggest joy was seeing all the pups and how much fun it brought to the environment. I loved that the owners of their dogs kept them calm and not a nuisance to others around them. It seemed like a peaceful dog park minus the park and add the beer. If you don't like drinking around kids, this ain't your place. Madtree is one of very few local breweries to go with your dog that has a tented patio in the winter. Most places don't allow dogs inside, which we are totally cool to abide by, but that makes Madtree about the only brewery we take him when it's cold. The outstanding popularity of this place makes it so it's busy just about any time we go, we gotta stake out tables or bar seating for at least 5 minutes before finding one. The last time we went, we were approached by a momentarily unsupervised toddler who was interested in our dog. Thankfully an adult came to collect this kid pretty fast, our dog is friendly but loves kids and can be a little too excited for a very young child. The visit before this one, we were graced by three children running screaming around our table. Thankfully, service has never been lacking for how busy it's ever been. If super crowded, "family oriented" breweries are your thing, Madtree is your place. read more

My first time at MadTree after always hearing good things. My companions and I chose from the brunch menu. It was pretty limited, but makes sense given their kitchen setup, and most of the basic breakfast dishes were covered. We got the cinnamon bites to share (dough and cinnamon tasted great, but could've used mire cream cheese glaze) and I got the Porkopolis Poutine without egg. The pulled pork in it was incredibly tender and some of the best I've ever had. The potatoes underneath were well seasoned. My only complaint would be the lack of cheese. I expect a poutine to be loaded with gooey cheese. My companions got the frittata and the skillet hash. Both said their dishes were good. I will warn that everything comes out very hot though in the cast iron skillets, so wait before digging in! read more

This is a great place to go to with friends for a fun night. However, is so noisy both inside and at the tent area that I wasn't able to hear what a date was talking about, so I would recommend not to have meetings here (and is like this every day of the week). In the winter they have a very warm tented area where the outside is. The beers are great but they could have more gluten-free ciders. There is a good amount of grass area if your pups need to potty, but it's pet friendly inside which is great because you can bring your pups out when it's cold! I loved old madtree. It was the perfect neighborhood brewery. Out of the way. Great beers and subtle. "New Madtree" is gaudy and overdone. It is too big, always packed, and parking blows. Lines are long but the staff does a good job managing the mass of people that are in and out of there. Its really is a bit too much for me. Other people love it. The beers are good. I typically go with the happy amber, psychopathy, or naughty brown. There are ~25 beers on tap. They have mixed drinks as well. The outside portion is nice. Dogs are welcomed. Half the people outside will have dogs. So if your dog is iffy about other dogs, please leave him or her at home. Catch a fire pizza is good. I like the wings and pizza Oh yeah Don't leave without grabbing a chocolate whoopee pie from catch a fire pizza. They are delicious! read more

The taproom serves a variety of beers, and a couple of cocktails. And I haven't found a beer I didn't like. Psychopathy and Lift are probably their most popular kinds. I genuinely like the Happy Amber. This time, I tried a Stout with vanilla and smores, and it was really good! Prices for one range from $5-$7 for beer and a lil more for their cocktails. Food? The ambiance is great ! Food and service were excellent. We had fried pickles and a delicious pretzel to start. Ordered Pepperoni pizza and a Fig and Prosciutto pizza. The crusts on both were perfectly crispy . The bar had quite a selection of beverages so you should find something you like. The outdoor area is very nice with a bar and lots of seating. While we were there we enjoyed live music. We met Bryan, the manager. He and his staff have done an outstanding job of making Mad Tree the place to go for food and entertainment.
