Is it becoming harder to source the quality tender ribs or are the quality ribs becoming more scarce or inaccessibly expensive? Whatever the case may be, things took a back step this time and the ribs did not have the smoked taste as I have experienced before. Did the ribs need to be on a little longer? I ordered three slabs and large sides of potato salad, baked beans, and coleslaw. Surprisingly, the baked beans were the weakest of the three. The potato salad was markedly better and the coleslaw was the best for my tastes. I still maintain Brenda's is the place to get great smoked ribs, but this weekend was not their best effort. Brenda's is the best place to get your bones in Montgomery and I take them back with me to NYC because they're that good. 4.0 stars!

This was my first visit and I got the Smoked Turkey and Spare ribs plates with a side of fries, baked beans. I never realized turkey could taste so good! It was moist, tasty and paired well with their barbeque sauce. I also tried the mustard sauce and wasn't the biggest fan, but I am not a fan of mustard in general anyway.
