This quaint, lovely, cute, somewhat big boutique sells everything that you can think of. From clothes, shoes, scarfs, belts, hats, accessories, some artwork, custom made jewelry, and a lot of different options/sizes to choose from. From X-small to XX-large. You name it, they have it. It is such a cute store that you can browse for hours and there is something for everyone. I walked in yesterday around 4pm and was greeted by Kathryn. She was sweet, pleasant and wanted to know if I needed anything in particular. I wanted to get a toe ring. I am not much of a jewelry person, but do like certain things that stands out. She said that they didn't have toe rings and started showing some cute, summery, light dresses. She was not pushy or persuasive to sell me something. She just wanted to make sure that as a customer I was well taken care of. After looking around, I saw 2 spring/summer dresses and w/out trying them out, I knew that I found what I WASN'T looking for. They were on sale among other sale items on their rack. Great materials/fabrics. They all have different prices. Boutique has cocktail dresses, contemporary stuff, and a lot more. Store was in a great condition and was very clean. It was a bit congested, but didn't bother me at all. This store was owned by the original owner named Jana, may she (RIP) since her passing, Maggie, who is a sweetheart took over the business. Too bad she wasn't there yesterday. I have been here at least 4 times in the past and once had a very long conversation with the sweet, kind owner Maggie. Established in 2021. Parking is shared with many businesses. Even if you go in for a certain item and don't find exactly what you are looking for, Maggie has a knack of showing you clothing that you would normally not think would work. That's what I love about boutiques in general. They know exactly what they are selling which takes out a lot of the work. Was in Studio City yesterday and by accident I found this little shop called Maggie red kitty. They have gorgeous outfits one of a kind hand painted clothing and bags. I picked up an outfit for date night, the owner helped me she was great her name is Maggie . If you're in studio city, and are looking for something fun and unique you need to stop by. Where to start, Maggie's Red Kitty is a gem tucked behind Mexicali's Cantina. It is a small, woman owned business. Maggie has excellent taste. The majority of the clothing is made in the USA, linen is everywhere and the clothes are as creative and as eclectic as you want them to be - check out the hand painted clothing. Styles range from jeans (unique ones) outfits for special occasions and - just life! Maggie is very supportive of other small business owners. She carries several small business jewelry lines, incredible purses made from scrap leather pieces that would otherwise go to a landfill, and some truly fabulous painted purses and totes out of South America, these also are made with recycled materials. Maggie also supports other designers by hosting pop up's. The customer service is excellent with staff checking (without smothering you) asking if you need something changed out, providing advice on the outfit you have tried on and they will politely tell you if something just doesn't suit you and come up with an alternative idea. The shop has a great vibe and with every visit I find something new. Of the clothing that I wear on the daily, ~80%+ came to me via Maggie's. If she had a lingerie line, likely the % would be even higher. I am soooo happy that I stumbled upon this little gem! read more

Just discovered this little fashion boutique today and was pleasantly surprised at the very cute stuff that I found. A little on the pricey side (as some are designer label goodies), but some things were very reasonable. I chose to go with the reasonable one and got a cute handbag that easily could go for $100's but was only $40. Can you say SCORE? My new purse and I can :) The staff was very friendly and helpful and even offered to call my friend and I when the new Summer skirts came in. That is always a lovely touch to a shopping experience. It's nestled right between Banana Republic and the Gap on the parking lot side, so give it a whirl, might just find that unique piece that will have you doing twirls. read more

When I used to live in this area Jana's was my number one boutique to visit. Lorie is incredibly helpful and a wonderful fashionista! She knows what looks good on every individual. Recently came back here and still, she has wonderful items. Lorie is so honest, hard working and joy just oozes out of her face when she's helping you out. Doesn't matter what your age is. I lived in Sherman Oaks for years and Jana Fashions was my favorite place to shop. The buyer (Lorie) for this boutique has impeccable taste and knows how to buy for women who want to look chic and unique at any age. The ladies who work in the shop are incredibly helpful putting outfits together for you and very honest about what works and doesn't work. I've been going to Jana's for absolutely years. It has clothing for absolutely all sizes, and it's stuff that you never see anywhere else. I am pretty big, and when I lived in NY, my mother would go in a couple times a year and say, "Okay, what have you got for my daughter?" and the staff would always find some great items for me. While visiting the Los Angeles area my friend, who is a costume designer and I, decided to update my wardrobe. She wears a 4. I wear either a 12 or 14. Jana is perfect for both of us. Their clothes are stylist, some even cutting edge, while others will endure the test of fashion whims. I love this store.The staff was the best I have worked with in years. We shopped for about two hours and I left with an entire wardrobe for the fall. I spent less than $3,000. Think about it, quality pieces that I can mix and match including a coat, the perfect pair of jeans, slacks, sweaters, tanks, scarves,... you name it.
