Beautiful store, but ZERO actual equestrian gear. Perfect for music festival/influencer types. Makes sense given its location. I felt like I walked into a really expensive cowboy cosplay daydream situation. Perfect place for the non equestrian to play dress up and feel special. The clothes, the boots, the store itself are all GORGEOUS. I felt very out of place showing up in head to toe Ariat equestrian gear caked in actual barn muck and horse manure. Stopped by yesterday for the first time after seeing the Laramie boots online. Unfortunately, they didn't have them in stock, but AJ was incredibly helpful. As a first-time western boot buyer, I had a lot to learn, and he took the time to help me find the right size, explain how boots should fit, and even show me how to use a boot jack! Even though I wasn't able to get the boots I came in for, I did end up leaving with a really great shirt. AJ's knowledge, patience, and excellent customer service made the visit worthwhile. This new Ariat is stunning!!! I stopped in this past weekend and wanted literally one of everything, but I don't do baggage so one of everything wasn't going to fit in my carry on. I did pick up a long sleeve to wear home on the plane, a really cute silk scarf and a couple of fun Lainey pieces. Her line is not to be missed! I mean some of the rings come in cowboy hat shaped ring boxes, adorbs! Service was excellent! Highly recommend. read more

I am over the moon! We now have an Ariat right on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City! We haven't had a Western wear shop in town since King's retired and closed, many years ago. Located on the south side of Ventura Boulevard between Laurelgrove and Vantage, this store is the real deal. Boots, cowboy hats, handbags, wallets, jewelry, T shirts, bandannas, baseball caps, dresses, jeans, shorts, shirts, and skirts... everything your Western heart could want. The aesthetic of Ariat is gorgeous. The motif is authentically Western down to the rugs and wall art. Country music is playing. The shop is large and airy and appealing. Very easy to browse. Service is superb. I was helped by some extremely friendly and courteous people: Anne, Nicole, and Chanel. I got a really great haul: a T-shirt, a sleeveless tee, a button-down sleeveless denim top, a red paisley bandanna, and a genuine leather American Darling handbag, made in Texas, fringed and with a large turquoise inlay. If you like Western wear, if you love the country vibe, or if you're just interested, I highly recommend stopping in. My husband and I came in today and were immediately greeted by Alyssa, who was so friendly and welcoming. We browsed for a bit, they have a fantastic selection of boots! Then Tony came over to help us, and he was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and attentive the entire time. Tony went above and beyond to make sure we found the perfect fit, he helped us try on several sizes, gave honest feedback, and made sure we were completely happy before we left. With my 83 year old grandmother to treat her to a pair of boots and they would not let or I use the bathroom sorry when we are spending over $300 on each pair of boot and sweatshirts we should be able to use the rest room! Forget the fact we buy thousands of dollars upon thousands of dollars of their products a year! Just another wanna be joke horse store in la Ps they also didn't want me to try on both pairs of boots! Poor customer service. We were not greeted, or even acknowledged when we walked into the store... Sales associate walked around us, ignoring us. Omar, the sale rep appeared bothered when I asked to try on a pair of boots, didn't offer any further assistance when the boots I asked for weren't in stock (didn't even bother to check system)...10minutes later, a woman of a different background walks in and gets the kindest welcoming ever, and received a completely different customer experience than we did. My spouse and I LOVE Ariat so we were so excited when we got the text earlier this week that a new store opened up in the Valley! Of course we've already checked them out (twice) and already know this is gonna be dangerous for us :) they even have a hat doctor station! Just picked up two hats from them today from Omar who is literally awesome! He was patient in getting our feedback so that he could create hats for both of us that fit exactly what we wanted. From the second I walked in, she was super welcoming and made me feel like I had her full attention the entire time--no pressure, just genuinely helpful. My brother and I are in town visiting and if there is an Ariat store we always make a stop! We walked in and nobody greeted us. We continue to browse and 5 minutes later I had to approach the register and greet the 3 employees standing talking among themselves 2 guys 1 girl. (4th guy was helping another customer.) I was looking for equestrian clothing for my daughter and was told they carry none. As we where about to leave the forth employee named Khrystopher greeted us and asked if we needed help finding anything in particular. I started off by thanking him for greeting us and making us feel welcome! I pointed to the counter where the 3 associate where still talking to each other and explained that just this morning I was on the phone with customer service due to a show shirt I purchased was shipped damaged and dirty and now once again disappointed due to lack of customer care. Khrystopher apologized shook our hands asked our names and set the restart button! Although there was no equestrian clothing Khrystopher helped my brother find a shirt and took care of all our wants! If it wasn't for Khrystopher we would have walked right out. 2 bad experiences in one day was not a good feeling at all! I give Khrystopher a five star and appreciate him. read more

I wanted to share feedback based on my most recent experience at the Ariat Studio City location. During the holidays, I shopped at the Denver store and had such a great experience despite how busy it was. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made me feel genuinely excited about the brand. Because of that experience, I was referred to visit the Studio City location, which I was really looking forward to. Unfortunately, my experience at Studio City was the complete opposite. When I arrived, the store was very slow--there was only one other couple shopping--yet there were three sales associates present. Despite this, I had little to no interaction or acknowledgment. The associates seemed focused almost exclusively on the other couple. When I asked for a size in boots, one saleswoman said she would check, but she continued assisting the other couple instead. After waiting, I had to ask a second saleswoman who had already walked past me twice without making any contact. She eventually brought the boots, but there was no follow-up, no check-in, and no assistance afterward. I ended up packing the boots myself and taking them to the register on my own. The overall experience left me feeling overlooked and uncomfortable, especially given how quiet the store was. There was a noticeable sense of elitism in how attention was given, which was disappointing and unexpected after such a positive experience in Denver. I was genuinely excited to shop here, so this was especially sad. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration, as the contrast between locations was stark and not reflective of the great experience that initially drew me to the brand. read more
