I just bought three suits and a tie from Claudia today and have to say the overall experience was amazing. She's personable and funny, and was able to guide me to the best looking and fitting suits I could have imagined. Her advice was invaluable regarding the colors, textures, and fit. On top of that, the level of service was unmatched. When we realized a button was broken on one of the jackets, she immediately called her seamstress friend a couple doors down. 07/01/2024 I had heard about Armani Wells a few years ago while living in SoCal. Always wanted to go, moved away for years and then came back home. A Black Tie event came up. LIGHT BULB !!! Computer, men's designer resale, Studio City, ARMANI WELLS is still here after 33 years. I made the appt. walked in, this lovely fashionista, Claudia greeted me. I explained my event and said I always dressed by my own rules but tried to stay tasteful most of the time. She said I have "it" and the fit is perfect for you. She went and got "it" and had me try "it" on. I was a bit surprised that Claudia understood my personality so quick and translated that into a look. The more I looked at myself in one of her many mirrors I knew she was right, this was "IT" and NO alterations necessary! This lady knows her business. I then had a chance to look at the Gucci, Tom Ford, LV and many other jewels in her store and she has lots of them. It is a festival for the eyes and her pricing made it so much fun ! Guys, you have to look good for an important event? You don't have a clue what to wear? Go down to see Claudia at Armani Wells, and tell her what you are looking for. I did that last night and she handed me a Tom Ford shirt that fit perfectly and looked great, Armani jeans that fit perfectly and looked great, a pair of shoes that were too big and we put back and a pair of Gucci loafers that for perfectly and looked great. I went out for the event and looked great. I wouldn't have selected any of these things for myself if I was shopping on my own - which explains why I look just ok most of the time. If I could buy my wardrobe here, I would (maybe someday - the highest quality isn't cheap, even here), but it's great to know she's here for us for those important events. I've done business here before and she was very nice... However this is the FOURTH time I've tried to come here to drop off/sell my high end clothes. First time I came at 12:30 (they were supposed to be open at 12) and they were closed... Came back a couple days later at 1 o'clock... Same thing... Closed... Then today I showed up at 1 o'clock again to find a sign on the door that said "we'll be open at 2 today"... So I then ran some errands and came back at 2:40... Only to find... You guessed it... Still closed... I'm not sure when this place actually opens, but if they do... I hope the wait is worth it... Til then, guess I'll drop my stuff off at another shop... The BEST!! I was introduced to Claudia personally by someone who only had amazing things to say about her! We connected on the phone and from that point on wards Claudia was helpful, communicative, friendly and invested in helping me find the right pieces for a client of mine that I style. The slight issue is that I am based in St. Louis, MO so Claudia did everything "virtually" from getting my client's measurements, me sending her photos of my client so she could see the body shape and build to her sending me images of items with extremely detailed notes and finally to her shipping them out to me with care and on a timely basis. Yelp reviews are always fun, and I couldn't resist posting a review for Ms. Wells and her store, Armani Wells. I came across her store online several years ago when randomly reading up on the cast of Back to the Future, and their whereabouts these days. I'll happily admit I'm a bit of a fanboy for anything BTTF. When I learned of Armani Wells, I filed it in the back of my head for the day I had an excuse to visit. Finally, I found that excuse when it was time to get me a new suit! I emailed her and set up an appointment (at the time of this review, she's open a few days a week for walk-ins and appointments because of COVID). I made the trek up a couple days ago from San Diego, and am so glad I did! I admit I was apprehensive. Could I possibly afford anything in her store? Why not just go to a big retail store locally? Is this only because I want to fanboy? I went, figuring at the least, it would be a fun adventure in this time of being cooped up. I arrived, and squeezed my truck into the parking in the rear (plenty of room for cars and SUVs, my truck fit but if you drive some crazy big truck like a long bed it'll be tight...plenty of meter parking though), and headed to the front of her shop. She was inside tidying up and I waved to her, and she came and unlocked the door. I appreciate her consciousness about COVID, and she told me she likes to make sure she is able to monitor who enters for mask purposes. We got right to work shopping for what I needed, while chit chatting about life, the weather, what I needed my suit for, and some fanboy stuff. She is an absolutely lovely soul and made my apprehensions disappear immediately! I felt so comfortable and wish I could have stayed and just chit chatted with her for hours. She helped me pick out a few things (read: she picked them out for me. I'm an absolute goober with this stuff), and I tried it on, and we talked about fit, ways to wear the clothes, and tailoring options. After we picked out a suit and an awesome corduroy jacket, we left the store together and popped down to her local tailor to discuss prices, and we even popped into the local shipping/postal store to inquire on cost to ship the items to me if I chose to get tailored right there (I chose to go ahead and get it done locally to me to save on shipping). The personal service was amazing. I truly felt like I was shopping with a friend! After all was said and done, I have a new suit and a jacket I now need a reason to wear, and I saved a ton of money! A few of the items still have their tags on them, and the rest honestly have no signs of being worn. I looked up the retail prices afterward and was shocked! Never, ever, in a million years would this blue-collar worker imagine owning such wonderful clothes! I mean this sincerely! I highly recommend visiting Claudia at her store. Not only is she just the kindest soul, she is warm, welcoming, and has great fashion sense and is happy to help guys like me who don't know the first thing about dress clothes. Plus, she embraces her fame related to Back to the Future and doesn't mind if you fanboy a little while you're shopping . I have been friends with the people who put together the Back to the Future website for some time. Through them I became Facebook friends with Claudia Wells (Jennifer Parker in part I). That is when I found out that Claudia owns a High End Resale store and I wanted to check it out. Claudia's store also sells "Save The Clock Tower" T- Shirts. My first visit I bought the T-Shirt. My second visit I bought a dress shirt. Today I Went to have Claudia Wells sign my "Save the Clock Tower" T-Shirt and left with a really nice suit, sweater and shoes. I told Claudia that I was looking for a grey suit and like some sort of "Suit Whisperer" she pulled out a suit that not only was exactly what I was looking for it was also a perfect fit (Minus a little hemming on the pants). Claudia then showed me some shoes that I could not pass up on and when I asked if she had some sweaters, she pulled out 3 that looked really good on me. Went in for a suit and came out with a whole new wardrobe! So many great finds, very reasonable prices. I think I paid less than 1/4 of what it would have cost new. Claudia is very knowledgeable about men's fashion and has a fantastic selection of designer labels. She uses a tailor just down the road and gets great discounts and turnaround times with them too.
