It attracted more vendors, community organizations, entertainers and festival-goers than last year. I am very happy to visit Town Green Park again. I loved the non-stop entertainment for 6 hours on the stage. I know this because I was here all day helping at my company's booth. The organizer made a smart move by positioning the stage facing west. They placed VIP lounge right across from the stage which provided uninterrupted view of the entertainers. Watch my video to see the open space for audience to enjoy the festival better. Correction to my previous review. Attendance count was incorrectly reported due to the timing of inquiry. But I could fairly say, The Woodlands Pride Festival is definitely bigger and more impactful this year. My favorite part of this pride festival is the opportunity to meet the LGBT Diversity and Inclusion group from other companies. The D&I groups are great way to engage their employees to learn about this unique cultural identity. Moreover, I wish to see more companies bring out their employee resource group to participate at all pride events.

FRUSTRATING but not their fault. The event was very busy so we def plan on arriving EARLYYYYY to secure better parking & to actually enjoy the kids activities. Lines for concessions moved quickly! Overall we had fun once seated despite the heat. only wish is that they'd crank those big fans above pavilion seating to highest speed! lol we'll be back and better prepared for the next event!

No popcorn drink combos so a large popcorn and soda will set you back $22 pre tip. Refillable 1x only. Line wasn't horrible and each serves the same stuff even though the name above each cashier is different. No fast line for refills. Popcorn had just enough of that dry aged al dente chew to make that nostalgic staleness of working in the college football concession stands stick out. Park in any of four lots for free and walk over. Gates open an hour before showtime and parking is half and hour before the gates open (1.5 hours before showtime).

However, it was mostly a promotional event for every service provider in the area. It was saturated with various hospitals and health care providers. There would be an inexpensive game and prizes of the sort one gets for free after visiting a children's dentist. In fact those prizes and candies were often better. Our 6 & 9 year old were totally bored. They had face painting which is common and was uninteresting to our guys. There were karate and gymnastics schools with small displays and sign ups for their programs. The festival had an interesting small petting zoo which was fun. There were some balls that children climbed into and were inflated and then rolled around in the water, but b/c there was so little else that was fun and not a promotion the line was too long. Our guys had done it too many times before and did not want to wait in line. Kids in our area hire those for birthday parties sometimes. There was a lovely climbing exhibit by the seller of wooden climbing gyms for kids. There was a little train that my guys said was for 2 year olds. The lego booth was fun and one of the few activities the festival paid to provide. Most everything else was an advertisement for service providers. Things like getting a picture of your spine by the local chiropractor were the order of the day. I think introducing small children to chiropractic care is questionable anyway. Little kids should see a pediatrician and an orthopedist if necessary. Starting small children on chiropractic care is of questionable ethics anyway. We chose this instead of the Renaissance festival or the Nutcracker market. Either would have been preferable on this beautiful day. I was appalled that we were charged for what was primarily a series of promotional tents for area service providers.

Once a year, Along the streets of the small city of chapel hill...is a cozy little area to look at booth after booth after booth of crafts, foods, hot sauces, and other homemade goodies!! the people are extremely polite and fun to talk to...alcohol is located throughout the area with a few scattered ATM machines. Free to get in, you can spend a few hours out there....live music and good times!! Love it
