Stumbled across this place while at Larkin one day. Was looking for some different options of beverages and wasn't feeling any around. Here you had the best of both options lots to choose from but if you still wanted to sit at a bar or take it to go you could. Will definitely be back.

Relaxing vibe with great beverage selection, including cans of Secret Machine from Dewey Beer Company in Delaware! Light munchies available, but key for our 3-dog household is that they are dog friendly! Nice place to chill out and relax for an hour or two. Craig, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating, and has encyclopedic knowledge of beer.

We've been wanting to try this place, but kept hitting it at times it wasn't open. We couldn't quite tell what it was. Going down Seneca tonight we see it's open. Quick u-turn and book it on in there. Immediately upon entering this guy says hello, have you been in before? We say no and sit down at the bar whereupon this guy (Craig/owner) explains that all the stuff in the coolers is for sale and they also have taps. He explained that taps 5-7 always has IPA's. 5 is frequently a DIPA and 6 and 7 could be fruity/juicy and/or west coast IPA. We had a 5 and 6, a DIPA and an IPA by Fathead. They were both very tasty. I was very impressed by the introduction when we walked in. The owner, Craig, explained how his business worked. It's similar to Aurora Brea Works but opposite. Aurora is a store that serves some beer and Bear is a bar that also sells beer to take out. They have trivia on Thursday nights. Open every evening except Monday. This place is extremely homey and comfortable. The bar stools are soft and inviting, there's a few screens and it's clean and completely inviting. There's some food to order or you can bring in whatever you want. He gave us a small bowl of chips, which was unexpected and nice. If you want a completely low key night, come here, grab a beer or wine or cider and maybe something to take home.

I came on the 2nd day of them opening and was happy to see they had a steady crowd. Located in the Mill Race Commons of Larkinville, it's a great addition to the variety of bears, ciders, and wine you can have in the Larkin area. I decided to come by myself and try it out, and I was not disappointed. They have a cooler with a variety of bear, wine, cider, and nonalcoholic drinks for you to enjoy while sitting in their location, or taking them to go. They also have a shelf of room temperature bottles and cans you can purchase. All of their drinks are perfectly categorized, and the staff is willing to assist if you are looking for anything specific. They also have merchandise which is so cute with their bear logo. I decided to stay and sit at the bar where I was able to meet with the owner, learn about this new location, and the concept behind the brand. It's a cute story so I will not tell it, you can use it as a conversation starter . The staff is nice. They have beer on tap that you can sample before you purchase. They also have a good amount of seating available outside of the bar area. There's also an area that can be sectioned off for small groups and private events. There is a restroom for your convenience. There is also street parking, so depending on the time of day this can be limited. There are plans to have beer tastings, which I thought was cool because you don't see that available. The owner is a cicerone, so you are guaranteed to gain a lot of knowledge from his classes; and his title ideas sound fun. They are expected to start these events after the new year, so follow them on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date. But in the meantime, go check them out and try some new drinks.

Walked in and was instantly greeted by the owner Craig. Craig was awesome and very helpful on all things Magic Bear Beer Celler and all beers and wines included! Beers can be found directly in the cooler lining the wall as you walk in as well as against the back wall that can be cooled in an instant for enjoyment right at the bar. Decided to belly up to the bar to enjoy some beer. Decided on Buffalo brewing CO's explorer no. 9 and blood orange wheat by Jack's Abby. Both great choices, the first from the cooler, the second straight out of the tap. Provided with a small bowl of chips to help cleanse the pallet before diving in, both beers were smooth, cold, and delicious. After enjoying those I decided to do some more sampling. With 5oz glasses of on tap beer as an option, this was right up my alley. I dove right in to the giggletwig zerogravity. This was a gose and cooled to perfection. The milk stout, coco baked by sloop, was my next stop in my tasting journey. This was definitely a great idea to finish with. Smooth chocolate coffee tasting stout with a final hint of coconut to finish it off. House pickles were definitely tried as well. A large bowl full of different pickled veggies was placed in front of me and you better believe that didn't stand a chance. With pickled carrots, green beans, radishes, and of course pickles this was a great choice! Everyone was so welcoming even the customers I started a chat with. A must try new place In Buffalo!

This place is my kind of vibe. Such a laid back and very inviting place. Craig the owner is very helpful with any questions to be had about the beers. They have 12 taps as well as wines by the glass. You can select any of the beers out of the coolers as well as off the shelves. They also can cool your beverage down if selected off the shelf in one of their turning can or bottle coolers.

Great beer selections, great munchies (especially the garlic honey toum ---sooo delicious!!!!), and the best service! The owner, Craig, took the time to explain the beers and let us try them before we selected. We also went on Thursday for trivia night which was so much fun. We will definitely be back!!

Hubs and I came for dinner with four friends a couple weeks back and though it was a splurge, I have no regrets. Everything I had was delicious. We had: Focaccia Roasted Carrots Wagyu strip Rhubarb Panna Cotta Pineapple Pavlova I also had a Freakin' Beacon mocktail. Everything was SO GOOD. That focaccia was like no other focaccia I'd ever had but was delicious; crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The steak (med rare) was perfect to me, hubs thought it was a tiny bit too rare for him. It was super tender and easy to eat, perfect char. I couldn't eat the chimmichurri it came with as it has Thai basil (not usual in chimmichurri, but I'm allergic, and the server was very good about asking about allergies) but honestly, it didn't need it. That steak stood on its own. Both desserts were delicious, but to my surprise I think the pavlova was even better than the panna cotta (and I love panna cotta). The portions were very generous and I was pretty stuffed by the time I got home. Our portion of the bill was over $200 (hubs also had some cocktails and the steak alone was almost $90) but it was so good, we'll want to come back when we're in town for sure.

I ordered the Chicken Mac & Cheese, and not only was it delicious, but the portion size was huge for the price. Plenty of flavour, plenty of food, and exactly what I was looking for before a busy day. Service was another highlight. Justin was tending bar and was awesome to chat with. Friendly, welcoming, and helped make the visit even more enjoyable. Between the great beer, tasty food, generous portions, and excellent service, this place left a great impression on me. I'm definitely planning on bringing my wife here very soon so she can experience it too. For more food, brewery, and travel reviews, check out our YouTube channel A&M Roam!

They played the movie outside on their patio with a projector and blow up screen, which I wish it was advertised ahead of time that it was outside, so that we could be more prepared for the chilly weather. It also would have been better if they had their fire pit on and/or the space heater for those unprepared folks like us. Not your average Nachos 9/10 The corn tortilla chips were amazing by themselves. The queso, I was very surprised to taste homemade beer cheese (I didn't look at the menu before), it was really good and a little went a long way on those chips. The beer is great and they have a ton of options including stuff on tap and in cans. Look for the tv on the wall for the list of current beers on tap; it's on the far left side of the bar just above the large front windows. My curly fries and chicken strips were perfection - think of the best possible version of those things and that's what I got here. This came with sides of BBQ sauce, blue cheese dip, and ketchup. I greatly enjoyed my pumpkin ale and would happily drink this again. I appreciate that there are so many vegan options on the menu (not my thing but it's nice to have a place to bring vegan friends!). A surprising very cool thing was the restroom.
