    Burger, I asked for extra cheese, got it, but burger wasn't even hot enough for the top cheese to be melted.

    Honestly, the best thing about this place is a select few of employees, Carlo being an absolute star. I came and had the Sunday buffet. Absolutely disgusting. The BEST thing about it was POTATO SALAD. That's it. Their meat was cold, anything baked was cold as well, or warm and disgustingly mushy. I'm glad they lowered their price (just this past week?? lol), but compared to casino buffets I've had before, this is* a dismal comparison. Glad they don't really do seafood here. Yikes. I've also sat at their 1952 cafe as well (just for dinner, not part of the buffet), and the staff/servers couldn't be bothered with anything. They stayed at the host stand and yakked and texted forever, without checking on me at all. I ordered the shrimp appetizer (seemed to be a microwaved item - not crispy), and the burger with fries. The fries were cold when it came out, the burger was smothered in mayo and ketchup for some reason (and I MEAN smothered), and not cooked to order. First and foremost:::: your kitchen staff needs better training or better pay, because their efforts are horribly lacking at this moment. I say this, having worked in restaurants. How things came out? We would have been embarrassed - cold, sloppy food would never have made it out the door. Why does it matter that the fries were cold??? There was ONE SINGLE PERSON besides me eating there at the time. Obviously, customer care is nowhere near the top of "restaurant" staff priorities. No, I didn't bother to complain. Why? Because no one was bothered about me in the first place. I get it's a casino, and I shouldn't expect much, but these two experiences were terrible and speak volumes. Good luck, folks. On the slots, and on what food you order. ‍

    We went to the Air Supply concert and had a great time. There are many bars to get drinks. I didn't see any food being sold. The restroom is inside the casino. It's very clean, big and modern. No line:) There is a security check to enter concert area. No outside beverages allowed. Parking is free and easy. The upper level seating is covered by a roof.

    Magic City Casino 450 NW 37th Ave., Miami, FL 33125 4 Stars In Miami, everyone is a Cuban irredentist. However, living in Miami is apparently acceptable to this passionate group. Second --and third-generation Cuban-Americans abound at Magic City Casino. For my second foray into the Casino Review Landscape, I began on the casino floor. The Casino is full of the newest class 3 slots, or "Las Vegas" style slot machines. While I did not notice a high-limit area, I could have missed one. They do not have any live table games in the casino, but they do have an abundance of video roulette and craps machines. Literally wall-to-wall, as one can see in the pictures. Making my way into the card room. I noticed that everyone was Speaking Spanish. Just be aware that the English-only law for poker rooms is not being enforced here. The dealers are all solid in their card-handling skills and fluent in English. They only comp water and coffee, so if you like to drink while you play, be prepared to pay for liquor. Not only do they have loads of table games in their Poker Room, but they also have tables for Texas Hold 'Em, Three Card Poker, High Card Flush, and 5-card Stud, as well as daily poker promotions. After my modest win at the last reviewed casino, I sat at a 1-2 no-limit Texas Hold 'Em table again. I had dinner reservations at 5 PM, so I had roughly two hours to ply my luck. Magic City Casino has an extremely generous Players Club with bountiful rewards. The rake per hand is consistent with non-Indian gaming. The Big Boy says, "The slots are loose and fun, and the poker room is live. I won $62.00 in two hours. Not a bad take for a fun time."

    I had a machine tell me that it paid out four times and it did not pay out. I've called for service. Had three employees stop. They called for someone to come. No one has come. I called the main number. Told him what machine I was at. They didn't come nobody here gives a Crap about anything worse casino I've ever been to..

    This review is for the Jai- Alai at Magic City Casino. We were happy to catch the last game of the Spring season. Free admission and free parking is always nice! I've lived in South Florida over 25 years and had always seen signs for Jai Alai and now I know what it is. What a cool sport, and a cool little arena space they have. They got refreshments, bar, games area for families. Really cool vibe and fun to a Friday night date night. We are looking forward to the next season!

We booked a City View Executive Suite about 2 months in advance and requested quiet, high-floor, non-connecting, away from elevators. Our room wasn't ready until nearly 5pm, and we were placed in Room 329 on the 3rd floor (of 7 guest floors), steps from the elevator, street-facing over the front entrance. Room was clean, but the placement didn't match our request. Isabelle's is a highlight -- excellent breakfast (eggs, sandwiches, yogurt, oatmeal, power shots). Room service exceeded expectations: the chicken soup was top 5 I've ever had. Complimentary happy hour was also great (house Chardonnay was surprisingly good). We also received a $50/day F&B credit and breakfast for two (worth noting: breakfast can run $80-$100+ for two if paying out of pocket). Big downside: noise -- late-night piped-in music (called around 2-3am), loud Commodore bar vibe, nearby construction, and 1.5 hours of drilling next door on our last day. Shout-outs to Christina Strong (front desk--proactive and empathetic), Lucas at Isabelle's, and Steve (bellman) -- all excellent. Amazing walkable area (Koko, Narbona, waterfront paths), but room placement and noise management didn't match the Ritz price tag.

I opted for water and got a barely cold, dented plastic cheap water bottle (0/10). - The shower head looks and acts like it was $10 or less - The grout in the bathroom is brown when you can see it was originally white- disgusting - The maintenance is cheaply and poorly done - We asked for a cardboard box to ship something home, they couldn't help us -The reservation was made by my friend and they couldn't transfer it to my Marriott account so I could have access. - I had a 5am Uber, went down at 4:45 waiting to check out. No one ever showed up so just left my card on the counter. Didn't see that you could check out on the TV either. Ended up having to ask my friend to do it on the app. - There are no plugs next to the bed - One of the plugs I tried the first night ended up not even working so woke up with a dead phone - The doors slam shut and there is no sound proofing so if anyone is coming home late or going out early, you're going to be woken up. For $600+/night, this place is an absolute waste of money. I could have gotten a Kimpton for hundreds less and room would have been worlds nicer and cleaner. I'll never book a Ritz again.

Walking distance to a Publix, the mall, bakery, etc. The hotel checkin is on the 6th floor, the first floor is mainly a seating area and concierge. They offer free hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in the room, cruise shuttle at time of this review is priced at $12 with pick up times at 10a, 11a, and 12p. If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. The cruise port ride was booked for 8am, so I beat the 9am bumper car cruise port traffic. The video I posted is short and quick, but a glimpse of the room

We had a two day stay before heading out on a cruise. An extended vacation if you will. The service was phenomenal! We stayed on the Elite Level which provided extra goodies, and benefits. Sharing a picture below of what they define as the elite level and the benefits included. The location is perfect, in the middle of all things Brickell/Downtown. We were surrounded by restaurants/eateries, coffee shops, stores, the park, city centre you name it! Super convenient because we didn't need to call a Lyft to get around. So you better believe on the days we did go out, we got our steps in. It's giving HEALTH! 2026 who?! We are starting NOW honey! Okay, back to the review....hot (and cold if you're into that) breakfast was served each morning for free! You read that correctly. Free food honey. I mean you did pay for it so why not go ahead and eat? Your business not mine. Non-smoking hotel. Pools. Fitness center. The whole ordeal. A little store with snacks, drinks, and whatever else you feel you may need or want. I should also add that the hotel prides themselves on being accessible. Let's move towards cleanliness. Because cleanliness is next to what?! Godliness! Okay, I see yall! The room oozed of cleaning products. You would have thought the staff had just left from pouring Clorox and whatever other good smells needed to make a space smell delicious. Oozing with fresh aromas! The bed, not mine, but theres, was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in when traveling. Hotel beds typically don't bring out the best in me, I am in fear of all beds that are not my own. Laugh if you must but I am who I am! However, a soft bed with clean linings - sign me TF up. The elite levels are on the 14th and 15th floors. They provide robes and slippers. Did not wear the robe. Read what I said about the beds and sit with that. Anyway, I did wear the slippers and they are about as thin as a sheet of loose leaf paper lmao! The chair rolled on top of mine and ripped the back of it so they lasted about 12 hours for me. #SelfInflicted I know. It's a nice touch to have in your hotel room though. Me personally, I travel with slippers. As I bring this review to a close, I want to highlight the staff members that assisted during the stay. Mr. Ernest, Russell, and everyone else at the front desk that extended a warm welcome and consistent assistance. Thank you again! One hiccup that was addressed immediately. They have an "in-room dining option." This particular policy states that you can order food and have the food delivered to your room. Okay convenience! And accessibility! Well I ordered some food from a nearby eatery and the delivery person was not allowed up. "We don't allow people to come up to the rooms for safety reasons." Heard. And appreciated. Truly!! They value safety. My issue was when asked about the policy in place, being asked if I had a medical condition to where I couldn't come down and to get my delivery. While a relevant question, that is something I'd recommend treading lightly around. You never know anyone's health/medical condition. Furthermore, if your policy states one thing then every staff member needs to be on one accord. The issue was taken care of and the person was able to deliver my order. The front desk member was also not rude just inquiring. I appreciate how quickly the matter was resolved. If you're headed on a cruise or you're in need of a nice hotel that is conveniently located, Hampton Inn Brickell is your girl (or boy), be who you are!

I asked repeatedly for an early, 2pm check-in. When I go there around 2:15, the front desk area was in chaos. There were 2 people being waited on and I was first in line, but had to wait for ~10 minutes to get any attention. Even with repeated communication, the room was not ready. My kids were heading into melt down mode. Not a great start. I got a call at 2:45 that my room was ready. We headed back around 4 and then it was the same chaos, and very long wait to get our 1 piece of luggage. Once upstairs, the hotel is very neat and tidy and our room was a 2 bedroom suite with a balcony, facing the bay and city. The condition and working order of the room, bathroom, and kitchenette were excellent. We loved the minimalist aesthetic. They did have a happy bday card and some chocolates for me in my room - a very nice touch. The main event downstairs is the pool area. They had a DJ playing vibey lounge music and it was packed with people chilling and drinking as mature adults. Definitely not a wild spring break scene. The pool is heated, too. The best is being in the pool as the sun sets - very magical as the place goes from day to night. Great hotel - lousy front desk. I went to order an empanada from the front and the man that was behind the counter (after taking a 80 payment for 3 food items and 2 coffees..) walked to the front desk gave the girl a hug went outside did some stuff and then came back to make our drinks. The fries (were very good) the coleslaw had no flavor it tasted like mayo and cabbage like nothing else seemed to be in it.. somehow bland... The fish was bland. The tartar sauce was bland. Somehow even the horseradish sauce they gave me was bland. It was sincerely the worst fish fry I have ever eaten in my entire life. And I do not say that lightly........Really haven't had an experience like this anywhere else it was utterly ridiculous absolutely laughable for what they charge and the location. The best part if my meal was the fried and ketchup. So sad. The pastries? The chefs makes pretty croissants but the filling is absolutely terrible it was like curry chicken and peppers nothing like a chicken empanada.. didn't have any beef options all in all I would absolutely never recommend this place to anybody ever. Seems like it's going downhill or staff just doesn't care! I've seen the other recent reviews and they aren't great.. Doesn't seem like they let the chefs put anything on the menu themselves and really streamlined the whole thing terribly. I would not recommend this hotel unless you want rude service and terrible food. The only good thing about this place is that it's on the water..

A two story boat the cruses to the Jungle island. Drinks on the boat while you can sit or walk around while enjoying the scenery. Beautiful waterfront homes and yachts big ones little one. While your cruising other people wave to you they have a little bit of music playing. I enjoyed standing in the front it was very enjoyable and just loved the sunset Florida has some of the most beautiful sunsets incredible. We arrived at the island and greeted with friendly people where all the entertainment began. We sat down and ate they brought the food bbq to the table brought is drinks during the dinner they had live music that followed outside fire dancers and hula dancing. Then you were able to walk around the island birds a few animals jungle vibe. Than back on the boat for a ride back. Food was chicken which was tender and tasty. Ribs that feel off the bone with extra bbq sauce. Corn bread coleslaw.

This was expected though since most of these types of boat rides are similar in that respect. One interesting highlight was the trip into Port Canaveral to see some of the cruise ships in port. The tour guide/docent named Mason kept us engaged throughout the trip with his knowledge and an occasional one-liner. All in all a very pleasant afternoon. Highly recommended

When ordering food or drinks, the staff add a tip to the transaction before showing the total when you pay with a card or tap to pay. There is no clear prompt or option to choose the tip amount before the charge processes. You see the final total only after the tip is already included. This ha-penned to me and to my friends.. I normally tip but I do not like the deception. This practice is misleading. Customers deserve the chance to review the total and decide the tip themselves before payment goes through. Transparency at the point of sale matters, especially in a venue where many people move quickly through concession lines. The concessions are operated by Hyatt Hotels, which makes the situation even more disappointing. A hospitality brand of this size should hold a higher standard for clear and fair payment practices. Events at the Knight Center bring thousands of guests. The payment process should be transparent and respectful of the customer's choice. Adding gratuity before showing the total is not acceptable and should be corrected.
