Excellent park that promotes imaginative play! It is a full wooden structure park with many different play areas. There is also a separate tot area for toddlers and smaller children. Lots of benches for parents and well shaded for those hot Florida days! There is also a book library right by the park entrance! read more

Its a nice playground but its not very toddler friendly. Had twin 1 year olds, and bringing a stroller into the fenced section was not possible. We had to leave it outside the entrance, which posed a security problem for me with two toddlers. Keeping an eye on them, having the walk continuously into and out of the walkway going in, and also trying to keep an eye on my expensive stroller. It's nice for older kids but not really suited for kiddos under 2. read more

This park is my childhood! It was right next to my grandma's old house. If you're considering taking your kids here, do it. I'm almost an adult, and considering just taking my friends someday to hang out and have a little picnic here because of how pretty the area is. read more

This was the playground my kids grew up at. It has changed over the decades and now is bigger with a better enclosure to keep the kids in. The traffic has been greatly limited so there is not as big of a risk but you always have to watch them. The layout to the basketball and racquetball courts is better. There is a skate park in the back as well. read more

Came to the park when visiting Daytona. Very clean and well kept. Plenty of parking spaces. The park is safe and most of the toys and rides are either new or in good shape. read more

Best park in Ormond! The new playground is very large with lots of activities for the kids, including slides, things to climb, seesaw and swings. Also there is a brand new full court basketball court with lights, 4 racket ball courts, some nice tennis courts and a very nice skatepark. HUGE, clean, safe and FREE. So much to do. And how lovely that it gets so much free cover. It even has a short water fountain. The bathrooms are clean and there's plenty of parking spaces. read more

This is an awesome playground! There is a tree house, a rocket ship and several pirate ships so the kids love it, there's no shortage of stuff to do here. I also liked how it was fairly shaded so it was cooler on a hot summer day. Also, there are swings for disabled children, so that's a wonderful thing. read more

Great find during a busy vacation. Tons of great things for our 4-year-old and 6-year-old to play on. Lots of slides, climbing adventures, and convenient water fountains and bathrooms nearby. Even better, it's all in the shade after 7pm! read more

Wow! What a fun playground! ..oh yeah - my kids enjoyed it too! Most of the setting is like that of a castle/fort with different types of bridges connecting areas together, tons of hiding places, stairs leading to at least three slides (that i saw), two swing sets, balance beams galore, etc, etc...! It was almost sensory overload for myself as I didn't know which way to point my twins to first! Plenty of tall trees surrounding the playground provided enough shade to protect little ones from the sometimes harsh Florida sun. I believe i read somewhere that this park was built BY the community, which explains the occasional plaque displayed next to a fort entrance that read something like "donated by (such-and-such) family". What a fantastic & inspirational idea - I wish other neighborhoods would come together like that for the benefit and enjoyment of little ones in their own community. Job well done by the moms, dads, grandmas & grandpas of that neighborhood! read more

We brought our toddler here early in the morning to run off some energy while on vacation, and this playground is awesome! The playground has something for all ages - slides, swings, monkey bars, varying heights to climb. There are cool paintings of dragons, animals, etc. that are great for imagining. The playground itself has one way I and one way out, which I think is nice for safety. It is well maintained, and we loved all the trees that provided much-needed shade. Awesome playground for kids of all ages! We took my kids here (ages 5 and 8) and they didn't want to leave. It was enormous, love how it is enclosed and especially love all the different swings, mazes, etc for the children. It's great that it is shaded, bathrooms aren't too far and plenty of benches for parents to sit on. read more

This park is always well maintained, clean and orderly and has bathrooms which is important. Lots of covered/shady spots to sit and plenty for the children to do. There's sections for each age group and it even includes handicap accessible swings. It's fun to feed the squirrels while you're there, too. Plenty of parking and seating for parents. The kids area is nice however outside of that, the grass around entire park is unnaceptable. Patches of dirt and red ants everywhere. My 11 year old daughter was attacked by red ants while there. Garbage is on the back basketball courts and have seen drug needles near the swings. City needs to clean up the landscaping first and foremost. would be nice to have more exercise stations around park. read more
