I took my sad plant to their little shop explained what was going on and how much this plant meant to me. He showed me what pot to buy (which I knew I was gonna need) and they repotted it for free with the purchase of the ceramic pot with drip tray. Gave me a quick plant lesson on how to care for it and sent me on my way. It's officially 6 months later and my peace lily has now bloomed and is thriving. The ladies who worked there helped us pick out a beautiful selection of flowers for our pots. They taught us how to make how selections visually appealing and guided us to the right flowers depending on where our pot will reside. My pot will be in my front porch which is shaded and also has some sun. I was able to pick out both shade and sun flowers. The flowers here were so bright and healthy. I was so happy seeing all these beautiful colors and really wanted a job here. It must be heaven to work with the most beautiful flowers every day! I picked out 2 different flowers of different sizes. One grew taller and the other was short. I also picked out the most vibrant pink Colleus plant. I have never seen one so rich pink. This will be my filler. I also got another plant with cool hardy leaves that will also have flowers if they get sunshine for my drooping over the side of my pot plant. I was very happy with my selection and the ladies who worked there were super helpful! My pot came out $10 more than the pre made one but I was able to choose my own selection. This was such a fun event. They also had cookies, meat,cheese and wine inside the main house. I bought a spicy jar of salsa to go.

The staff is very helpful and efficient, and I felt that their prices are fairly reasonable considering the location and the offering. I don't go to the Short North area very much, but will certainly check this place out again the next time I am in the area.

This shop caught my eye with the super cute and characteristic vinyl name on the shop window. The shop owners are so down to earth and easy to talk to! Seems like they have some regulars that visit as a group of people were chatting and laughing, so that's super cool to see that there's a local community. LOTS of different plants in here, some of which arn't unusual or rare, but the way they were displayed were very appealing and gave an idea of how to style these at home. I would definitely recommend this plant shop to anyone looking for some house plants and ideas on how to pot them or display them!!

The last time I went, they sold me the soil even though they did not have it. Normally, you pay and drive to the yard and they load it. This time the people in the yard ignored me, so I waited for a while (cars lining up behind me) and finally went in the back door for assistance. The clerk came out and they told me they didn't have it. They couldn't refund my money because they didn't have the "code". I would have to call their corporate office (but they could not give me that number-- they said I could look it up) or I could "come back some other time.' They don't care about their customers or providing good service.

I ordered their bulk topsoil and it was basically mulch. It smelled like mulch, looked like mulch,…read moreand it burns (very dry). When I took them a sample, they told me it was their topsoil. Do not buy their topsoil, however it would make great ground cover, aka mulch. The picture shows what they delivered on the left, and what i pulled from their top soil bin. They told me they were the same. The one on the right clumps and holds together. The one on the left will not clump and doubt plants could hold root in it. Additionally, the call center has said a manager would call me back. After multiple attempts at calling I have not heard from a manager. They do not care.

It is scraggly but it is living. I am hoping warm weather will help. We call it Captain and went to Dill's hoping to find it a Tennille. Alas no chenille plants. Nor did I find any African Daisy's. Plenty of beautiful, ordinary, hanging baskets but if I want ordinary, then I'm heading to the Amish auction. It is a $$$ place which is bad for me. I usually kill plants, quickly. Still the place is full of plants with just about anything else you could want, except a chenille plant. One negative, not in their control, you must cross a VERY VERY BUSY 33. Like there are no openings and you have to gun it and cross the road in halves. Leaving, I refused to reverse myself and cross 33 so I just turned left on this small road and let the GPS do its thing. I think Dill's is worth a look if you are in the area. It is a little too pricey for black thumb me and I don't like crossing busy 33.
