We have rented bounce houses from Magic Jump for our grandkids' parties for 10 years, about 15 jumpers. We have never received a clean jumper. I always have to climb in, hand vac, wet wipes to get the dirt, hair, leaves, glitter, candy off the jumper before I'll allow my kids in. I know this, and plan for it. The couple of times we've rented from others, same issue. I don't mind this as much as they all promise jumpers are thoroughly cleaned after rentals and share photos on how they do it. I was told I would be accommodated as long as I emailed them appropriate permits and documentation. They took down all my information and even scheduled a date and time for the drop off and pick up of my equipment. They said the permit I provided was good and I just needed to change the status on the paperwork from pending to approved for them and everything would be good after that. After contacting the park center and getting that paperwork changed for them and going back and forth with emails for a while, and finally sending what they asked for, they then said that they would no longer be able to accommodate me because it is too short notice. We had a very pleasant experience with Magic Jump Rentals and our delivery/set up person, Juan. He was on time, helped move in the tents and situate the chairs and tables before we moved them to the configuration we wanted, and then set up the bounce house. The only thing that I would say is that if you have a narrower route to your backyard and you have the gas meter along the route, to watch a bit more carefully, as he bumped into my gas meter and then triggered the earthquake valve and I had my gas turned off. We had to call the gas company and have an agent come in to reset the earthquake valve which cost $80. Just chalk it up to party costs I guess! But overall they were great and very responsive to the changes in my order prior to the actual event. Would recommend! read more

Wow they are so rude! I called and asked if we could rent a bounce house combo that came in 2 parts and set them up with a space between them. As a combo they cost 380 and each individual is priced on their website at 250 and she would only rent them to me for the 500 if I wanted to set them up individually. She said it would be a "safety hazard" even though they are both available to rent individually on their website. When I asked her how that made sense she couldn't explain herself. Overall she was just dismissive and rude when I was trying to get information for a fun event. Not worth giving them business when there are so many nice and helpful people who need it and are willing work with their customers. read more

Pricey. They attempted to pick up early after I already paid for the time. Charge extra fees for everything. Unprofessional staff they don't communicate with each other especially driver and office staff. Don't even think about having at a park you will pay for the jumper and an extra 20% for wanting at the park then pay another 80 something dollars for the generator for it to be be operational ridiculous. The good thing is they have a lot of jumper options. Some packages that come with everything which makes easier to get everything for party! I don't recommend unless you run out of options other places have better deals but less selection. read more

Honestly I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Magic Jump Rentals. I had ordered a jumper for my nephew's 5th birthday party and on the day of the event, I was contacted by someone from the company and told they had to cancel my order due to high wind conditions. They initially stated that if winds were below 20 mph, they would let me know and proceed with the order, however, when I checked the weather conditions and saw that it was only 17 mph, I called back to confirm and was told they could not proceed as it needed to be under 15 mph. Despite there being no wind present, the company refused to proceed with the order and ultimately canceled it. I was extremely disappointed as I had planned this birthday party as a special treat for my nephew, who was looking forward to the jumper as the main attraction. I understand that safety is important, but I stepped outside, and I did not even feel one gust of wind. I tried to call the company and tell them that there was no wind and they refused to proceed with the order and just canceled. It was so frustrating as I had put in so much effort to make this day special for my nephew and it was all for nothing. Luckily, I was able to find another company last minute who came and saved the party. However, this experience has left me hesitant to use Magic Jump Rentals in the future. I understand that safety is a main concern, but there was no wind and they could have simply proceeded with the order. I would not recommend this company to anyone planning an event and would advise others to look for a more reliable and flexible company. read more

I was really pleasantly surprised at how seamless the experience was. I booked online and got the confirmation email, along with the contract to sign. The day of the party, I was getting nervous because I hadn't received any communication from Magic Jump Rentals or the delivery company. But sure enough, they showed up on time with the exact stuff I ordered. It was all pretty easy to set up and everything worked well. They came back later in the day (again, they were on time within the pickup window) and picked up the machines. My only feedback is that it would be nice to have some sort of communication from the delivery company to know when they're on their way to drop off and pickup the rentals. I have used Magic Jump Rentals 3 times, most of my experience was fair or good. But the last one was unforgettably sad. Even though the policy says we can't cancel the order on the day, it rained without weather forecast and the school rejected to install the jumper because of the safety. There's nothing I can do or I can change. I asked MJR if I can't cancel it, please postpone it... but they said NO, there was no negotiation at all. So I had to pay full for nothing. After my awful experience I got a call from MJR, they explained there's a mistake or misunderstanding. They apologized for my inconvenience, and rescheduled the installation.
