No longer will I use Magic Jump Rentals. They asked ME for my feedback and if it was negative in anyway, to email them instead of posting a Yelp review. Here's my email to them today: Hi! I think if someone purchases a 1 day rental, it should be a 24 hr rental; 2 days = 48 hrs and so on. Anyone who has a party after 12pm is basically paying a full 1 day but only gets is for 1/2 day. Here's their reply to me: Hello Emily, Every business has its own policy. These are rentals for parties and mostly for kids. Kid parties do not last 24 hours. Our rentals are for up to 8 hours, we have a late pick up of the next day for an extra cost if it runs a bit late. If our policy works with your hours we'd love to work with you, if not then you would have to try to find someone else as we can not make any exceptions. My reply back: I was offering my PERSONAL feedback, because YOU sent me an email asking for one! If you didn't want my feedback, WHY would you ask me then?!?!? The email YOUR company sent me asked for my feedback and IF it was negative in any way to reply back to this email address. What kind of response is this!!! Magic Jump Rentals: DO NOT ASK FOR A FEEDBACK if you don't want to hear it!! And who are you to say how long a party lasts? There are things called sleepovers, but why should I waste anymore time explaining things to you. I will GLADLY take my money & business elsewhere!!! I rented a snow cone machine. Pricing was fair and drop-off/pick-up were smooth. HOWEVER, this should come on a stand or cart because it has a drainage hole (for the water when the ice melts), but it cannot drain when sitting flat on a table. It's also difficult to get the bottom tray out when it is full of water without it spilling everywhere because you have to angle the tray to get it out of the machine. read more

I wanted to share some feedback regarding the pricing process. I visited their website and selected a bounce house for rental this past weekend. I entered the exact dates -- delivery on Sunday and pickup on Monday -- and received a quote online for those days. Everything looked good, so I placed the order. However, late Friday (just two days before the rental), I received a call informing me there would be an additional $40 charge for the overnight rental. This was confusing, as the quote I received already included the specific dates and times I had entered. Ultimately, I had to cancel -- not because of the extra $40, but because the company did not honor the price I was initially given online. They explained that I was supposed to manually indicate the overnight charge, but if the system can generate a quote based on the selected dates, it should also account for an overnight charge. As a first-time customer, I was hoping for a little more flexibility. With my event just a day away, it was disappointing that there was no effort to work with me on a solution. I really liked this model because most of the water stayed in the deep pool, it didn't spill out onto the grass so much, didn't make mud like other ones we have rented. (Not from this company). They were great! From the set up to the take away, it was so easy. They were on time on both ends. Actually early for the delivery, but flexible with still accommodating my schedule. I also messed up on the address, and they could have made it into a hassle and ruined the day, but the delivery guy didn't. I am most grateful for that. It was something that was 100% my fault, and he adjusted as needed. I had a moment of panic that we were going to be left hanging, but he couldn't have been nicer about it. They set up the tables and chairs for us, and got the inflatable going, so I couldn't be happier with that. We had the AT AT Walker inflatable. The only thing I didn't love is that I didn't realize how old the tables and chairs were. The tables didn't matter as much because they were covered with table clothes, but the chairs were pretty worn. If you're looking for newish or wedding/reception level of niceness with the tables and chairs, maybe get them from somewhere else. For the price, I'm still fine with how that turned out.
