The bounce houses are in great condition and the delivery team is efficient and friendly. The only reason for 4 v. 5 stars is due to communication. The day of delivery team does not call before showing up, there is simply an approx delivery time and they do honor it. Have used them every year for my Summer School program and generally no issues. This year was awful. I confirmed via email the day before my drop off at 8am. I was at my location at 7am. They did not show up and at 8:15 I tried calling them but no answer. If they have deliveries being dropped off at 8am they should have customer service reps available to answer their phones in case of issues but they didn't answer their phone even after 9am. Needless to say my event starting at 9am got a late start as they did not show up until after 9am. When I finally was able to talk to a representative of the company she was so rude. I had tipped ahead of time since I was using the company acct and I told her that I expected to be compensated somehow for their inconvenience to me but the rep just kept saying it was my fault. Then pick up was suppose to be at 3pm and the driver said, " Since he was late arriving he would pick up at 4 instead." I let him know that staff would be off at 5pm and he needed to be there before 5. Driver called late in the day to say that he was having car problems and couldn't get there by 5. I told him that my staff leaves at 5 and I couldn't pay them overtime to sit and wait for him. Told him the rental would be left on the playground if they weren't there when my staff needed to leave. He was not there at 5pm. Honestly the most horrible service ever! Guess after many years I will be looking for a new company to use for school functions. Their loss! read more

Yet another great service provided by the staff of Magic Jump Rentals. Arthur is just a delight to work with! I only asked him to push the pick up time half hour later and he not only made sure it was hour and half later (which was outside of their normal pick up time), but also the drop off was earlier too. This time we got the Backyard Toddler Combo. It was basically a park/backyard combined into one. It had a basketball hoop, slides, climbers, etc. The kids loved it so much that they rarely came out. We're thinking of getting the same jumper next time again. The quality of the product is amazing as always. Wanted a bounce house for my daughter's 6th birthday, and found this vendor online. I was super impressed with the selection, not only of bounce houses, but of nother party supplies as well. The prices were pretty reasonable too. On the day of delivery, they came really early - we scheduled delivery for 1pm, and they arrived at 10am - and there was a different party scheduled at the event space at at that time. Luckily, we knew the family having the party - and were even attendees - so they basically got a bounce house for free which they were not upset about! They kids loved it, and some of the adults too. They then arrived promptly at 5:30 to pack it up. Will definitely use again if we need a bounce house. My only complaint is the lady who answers the phone. When I went to book online, an item I wanted had disappeared from the website. When I called, she seemed really put out and asked why I wasn't booking online. I explained the situation, and she basically said if it's not online, it's not available. I told her the item was on the website the day before, and everything else that was no longer available was still on the website, just with a note saying they item was no longer available for that day/time. She finally asked me what I was looking for and then says "oh yeah, we have those." UGH. Then she tried to show me where it was so I could book online. It was nowhere to be found so she finally says, "fine, I'll just put your order in over the phone" and she seemed really annoyed. What a better way to have a bday party for my 13 yr old. When pools are closed no problem...kids had a blast on the giant wave slide with rainbow slip n slide!! They're was a technical issue with the slip and slide (tear at the seam) however was very satisfied with their prompt attention & resolution. In advance or last minute - these guys come through! I have used Magic Jump for 3 work parties now. On one occasion, we planned well in advance and I gave them a month notice. This last one, I forgot and had to get my rental in the night before the event - after business hours. In each example, the website was easy to use, the email responses were friendly, and their team members showed up and were happy to drop-off (and even move upon request) the items I rented. Generally, those parties have been on Fridays and when they come in on Saturday to pick up - no one is here. But, they pick up the rentals and leave without a trace. Could not ask for a better company to work with. Highly recommend them for any event in the LA area (we're in Hollywood). read more
