I was so nervous , intimidated and honestly felt a little foolish because I had no experience at all. Lucky for me that Heavenly Horses was recommended. Mrs.C , the owner, was so very welcoming. During my barn visit I was able to meet many of the staff as well as the horses and those taking lessons. Everyone was kind, positive and encouraging . Mrs . C and her staff are wonderful, patient and passionate . They are gifted instructors who show calm , supportive instruction. They encourage learning not only the proper ways to safely ride a horse but also teach about how to appreciate the horses and how to develop a positive working relationship with the horse while learning to ride. There was a group of 6 teens in front of the board so you can't see anything until you are in front of it yourself. Half of them went to order while the others continued to stand in front of the board. After a couple minutes, the one group came back to the board and they were now all in front of it again. I finally went and asked the cashier if there was another menu we could look at and he looked at me and said they only had the board. As the teens were not any closer to moving away from the menu, we left. I'm sorry, but how much could it possibly cost them to have a couple of laminated menus for people to look at while they wait. It might sound petty but I feel that it is a stupid way of running a business. Ordering would definitely go a lot faster and smoother if people had something to look at while waiting in line.
