Started and owned by the same Richards family since 1957, they take great care to provide you with a large selection and quality of apples that you will be able to find. They don't have a website, nor an actual store. You pull up and meet Mr Richards who does a great job explaining all the varietals available. Apples, pears, blackberries, pumpkins and squash are found on this farm. And there are a ton of apples ready for the picking NOW. It is in the honor system , U Pick is a dollar a pound. To me, it's more fun when there are significantly more people around, and during peak summertime when there are plenty of strawberries, red raspberries, and black raspberries, that is the most fun and, in my opinion, worth the higher price. Off season both strawberries and raspberries are not going to be very sweet. It's rare for me to find black raspberries just in general, so that is a major draw for me returning!! It is so much fun to pick your own berries and such a fun outing for families and kids! They run a tight ship about making sure people stay in certain areas before they open up more, so I can see how that can be an inconvenience for some. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience and I definitely recommend a visit!!!

The staff were very nice and always picked up the phone when we called asking for the status. There's a small farm store that sells drinks as well as some farm goods (plant pots, farm vegetables). There isn't much for kids here so it's pretty much exclusively a place to pick berries. Stock was very good.

I was shocked to find out that most orchards these days charge a minimum of $10 per person to enter the orchard . This gets real expensive for a quick stop for a family of 6. I found this orchard that has no fees other than the weight of your apples at $1.20 per pound. There were plenty of apples to pick and I like the assortment of sizes of the apples. There were many that were small/snack size and delicious. These are perfect for families with young kids. I hate when my kids grab an apple out of the fridge and declare they are SO FULL 3 bites later. These are great size to not be wasteful . They also fit well in lunch boxes as well as with limited school lunch time to eat. Trees were clearly marked with what kind of apple and a description of the apple taste . Im a huge fan , we will be back . I just wish they sold donuts :)

There was beautiful pumpkin setups. There was a man with wonderful pumpkin carving talent. Was really impressed. We got onto the wagon to go to apple farm. They guided us where to go. We spent about an hour. We enjoyed picking different types of apples. Weather was beautiful. We saw making of fresh apple donuts, bought some and they were so soft fresh and yummy Definitely recommend going here and it is great place to take kids too.

The menu was prime rib (with gravy and horseradish sauce), sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, apple bread stuffing, carrots, rolls, dutch apple pie and more. We were able to order a few a la carte items to go along with it (hard apple cider, extra sides etc). It was plenty of food and our family loved everything. They included easy instructions for reheating in the oven so on Christmas our house still smelled like all the delicious food (without all the work!). Everyone was so nice and they even gave us a $10 gift certificate to come back and try their restaurant (which we plan on doing!). Get to it!
