I booked Magic Mirror for a 100 person party last month and everything was perfect. I was set on getting a Mirror photo booth and shopped around a lot, getting a number of quotes from different vendors here on Yelp. Magic Mirror had the best prices of all and offered all of the extras that I wanted. I spoke with Angelina multiple times leading up to the event and she was always super responsive and communicative about all the details - she even met me at the venue a month before to look at the space and give her thoughts. We agreed on the backdrop/wording for the photo print outs and everything was ready to go! At the last minute, like literally 2 days before the event someone designed a cool logo for me and I asked Angelina if there was any way she could add it to the print design - she was actually on vacation at that moment but made sure it happened!! I hired this Photo Booth for my daughter's sweet 16 and this Photo Booth was fun, everyone enjoyed it except for a lot of my guest felt as if they were being rushed (especially if there was a line) and felt Angelina was a little rude, and my daughter was one of them, she didn't like being rushed and said Angelina a lot of the time made her sit on the ground which she didn't like either. I dished out a lot of money for this Photo Booth and all though I felt it was overpriced this is what my daughter wanted, I don't feel it was worth what I paid for it especially with the complaints I received. Angelina explained every little detail about this new high tech photo booth and even though the price was a little higher than what I would spend for a traditional I-Pod booth, we decided to move forward with them and it was worth every penny. I found Angelina and her team to be simply amazing. It was easy to get hold of her through phone calls and texting. We agreed on the 360 video experience and had contracts signed. We then planned out the day. We did have to pay a small deposit with the balance due on the day of the event. There was no issue there and we were had several options to submit payment. We did have an issue with the restaurant. We had a private room booked at the restaurant with plenty of space for the 360 Video. However, on the day of the event the restaurant manager told us we could not have the 360 photo experience placed where we had initially agreed. Angelina and her team had already set up. Angelina was very quick to respond when I booked the magic mirror for my wedding and while she took a while to answer subsequent messages, she delivered on her promises to send us a mock up of what our pictures would look like with the overlay and background we chose, gave us an alternative option when the overlay we chose only had options for one or three poses and we inquired about an option for two poses, and provided the expected materials day of, as well as a download link for the pictures afterwards. However, it's the way things went on the day of that left a sour taste in our mouths. She had asked at the time of booking if we could pay cash for the remaining fee and I said yes. However, neither the contract nor her emails stated that we would need to make the payment before they got started. From past experiences, people get paid after they do what they were hired to do, so maybe that's on me for not realizing this would be different, and I get that they needed to make sure they got paid, but the way she went about trying to get the payment is the problem. At the time that they were setting up the booth, we were having our ceremony, so I wasn't on site, and hadn't thought to make sure our point of contact had the cash on her (because I'd thought I'd get to meet Angelina by the end of the night and pay her myself). Angelina talked to my cousin (who wasn't the point of contact) about needing to get paid and my cousin called to try to figure it out. She was ready to send a payment for us but as she was about to get off the phone, Angelina walked away from her. Obviously, I wasn't there, so I can't say anything about her tone or body language. Angelina then proceeded to send multiple messages to our point of contact demanding payment within the span of a few minutes. After they got paid, they came back and resumed setting up. Great. Our guests had fun with it once they realized it was open. But here's the next thing that bothers me: the fun of the magic mirror is that you can interact with it. The whole reason I splurged on a magic mirror instead of a regular photobooth was so people could sign the photos. But none of my guests were made aware of this function. I believe the attendants were her husband and son. Her son was the one interacting with everyone and he was nice and polite, but I went there with my husband at the end too, and there wasn't a mention or offer of "hey do you want to sign your picture?" In short, my experience with this company wasn't the worst thing in the world, but I wouldn't recommend them to my friends and family. I'm not generally someone who demands amazing customer service, but if you're going to advertise that a magic mirror allows signing, emoji stamping, etc., I would expect that you deliver on that, and I would hope that a company that works at weddings would understand that things can get a bit crazy and have some patience and respect for people who are trying to figure out what's happening and make sure they get paid. read more

I loved using it because it created full body pictures, which is cool compared to the over-used photo booth that maybe allows four heads to fit in one frame. I don't regret picking the magic mirror photo booth in comparison to a normal photo booth for my birthday party because both my guests and I enjoyed it, and it was elegant and open concept (compared to the traditional photo booth which is small and cramped).
