Residents are not allowed to hunt, a strict no hunting policy, but the Board let some unregistered, unlicensed, unbonded company in for over 3 months! They will bleed you dry for funds if they can find a way. Get rid of the HOA and its great. :)

What a wonderful venue for a wedding!…read more The owners were incredible! They really know what they are doing! They made the planning for my daughter in-law's wedding so easy. They are seasoned event hosts, and they live on site. They have also assembled lists of caterers, DJ's and event planners that they have worked with in the past. The venue is an Amish style barn built specifically for hosting events. The main barn is airy and bright, and very clean. The downstairs is set up to host a cocktail hour, has dressing rooms for bridal parties, and restrooms. It is also the only space that has air conditioning. The venue, though, did have big barn doors and fans to move the air. I was happy to say that despite temperatures near 90 outside, it was quite comfortable inside. They have plenty of chairs and tables for, I think, up to 200 guests. They leave it up to the renters for set up, take down, and cleanup. They do provide containers for trash during and after the event. Outdoors, the barn is in the middle of rolling farmland and orchards. The wedding was held under an outdoor arbor, under a shade tree, and looking out to green pasture, farms, and orchards. The evening had a special treat... thousands upon thousands of fireflies! OMG! The perfect ending to a perfect June wedding!

We had the spinach and artichoke dip which was tasty. The wine club has lots of perks and we are planning on joining soon. Can't wait to bring friends with us in our next visit. There are 3 wineries in this family and we are excited to try the other two on our next wine adventure.

Realizing salt exists would help with a lot of things. The best thing we had was the Haggis and if you'e had Haggis you know that's pretty bad. The website has a whole page talking about how the Inn at Vaucluse Spring has "the best breakfast in Virginia." My wife saw this and it was a major reason she asked me to make a reservation. But I didn't know this when I made the reservation and hadn't seen the website. So when I called and the owner told me that the breakfast would be delivered in the room, I didn't think think anything of it. As it turned out, the "breakfast" was a collection of thoroughly mediocre food picked up at the grocery store--yogurt, bagels, orange juice. The yogurt wasn't event especially fancy. As a result, my wife was disappointed. The host did offer to give us a discount on our stay to compensate for the disappointing breakfast. But he refuses to change the misleading information on his website. To this day, the website brags, falsely, about having "the best breakfast in Virginia," creating the likelihood that other customers will be misled in the future. I could understand if it was still May 2020 and they just hadn't had time to make the change. But the pandemic has been underway for almost a year at this point. It could easily go for another year. And I think it's unethical for a business to knowingly publish inaccurate information on its website.

There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere, no joke, it was spotless, even under the bed was dust free, attention to detail like this really impressed us. Aside from the delicious food, the property is very tranquil and relaxing. They are located on over 100 acres and have several different properties to choose for your stay, we stayed in the manor house and we're glad we did. The manor house has a back porch with rocking chairs, it was perfect to sip lemonade and eat cookies (they offer mid-afternoon snacks too). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway in Virginia (its about an hour and 20 minutes outside DC area).

I am very disgusted at the lack of professionalism and ethics run by this company. Unfortunately, I became very ill and couldn't continue with the planning of this event, nor the event itself. Setting aside the sadness I have from not being able to have that special day with my family, I had to cancel. We cancelled In December of 2014 and also were told it was no problem because another couple showed interest. GREAT!!! I had a friend ride by Heritage Hall and took numerous pictures of an occupied event hall. I waited for a refund, waited more than enough time. I contacted Sharon 4-5, maybe 6 times, she can only pass word from Bonnie the owner. Ridiculous!!!! I keep being told I will get a refund...when?! This doesn't sit well with me seeing she was paid from another couple for the same night. I know times are rough for people, but running a business in this fashion doesn't sit well with most. Piss poor ethics if you ask me!!!!
