Ugliest pretty nails- just moved to the neighborhood and I decided to get jewels for the first time. I have a wedding this weekend so I picked out a photo from the Yelp photos and showed the woman. I kept waiting for them to look like the photo...they never did. Why gold beads??? Totally ruined them. I couldn't tell her to remove them, there were too many. I have been here twice now. The first time was a pleasant experience, the second not so much. It is surprising that a senior nail artist can not do a basic ombre. The sides are not even painted! The rhinestones are not centered on the nails nor do they match Dont get me wrong, the staff is extremely friendly and the owner is talented. However, if you want your nails done like their pictures and the reviews you need to see her which won't happen. As their website clearly indicates she is not accepting new clients. If she is not doing the nails, this is nothing more than your subpar nail salon. read more

I have been to this salon three times with my best friend; we always made an appointment to go together. The last time we went, I was disappointed with the way I was treated. After my friend and I were seated next to each other, and my manicure had started, I was asked to get up and move to another table for no apparent reason. They were hurrying to move me with no explanation and then sat another woman in my chair. I stopped to ask why I'm being moved away from my friend, and the whole staff was pretty much looking at me like we had to move you for the other lady, sorry. Excuse me? I make an appointment with my friend and you just attempt to move me to an isolated back corner? My friend had to intervene and then they proceeded to sit us together and apologized to my friend. Not to me - to my friend. I'm not going to say they were being racist, but it sure felt like it. The treatment clearly was different and they didn't seem to care that I was upset until my friend said something. That's not the customer service I pay for - WE will not be coming back. I stopped here yesterday during my lunch for the best gel manicure of my life!!! Probably one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had in a nail salon. It's minutes from my work and not only was this an exceptionally enjoyable manicure but also, I decided to try the 15 min back/neck massage. I'm never the type person to leave reviews, let me start by saying STOP LOOKING YOU FOUND THE RIGHT SALON! In desperate search for a new nail salon I have found my new home. With short notice Sophia and her staff found a spot for me to come in the same day, walking in the first thing I noticed besides the staffs and clients smiles was that this salon didn't stink like chemicals; I later came to find out it's because they are completely acrylic free! This is great for people like me who get a massive headache within an hour of being at a nail salon. As I sat down Sophia (my nail tech) examined my nails and told me her honest opinion, from that second on I trusted her and told her to do whatever she thinks I needed. Because almost all my gel lcn extension where coming off from my previous salon we decided to go with a full new set(she spoke to me about prices before she started) , when it came to color and design she noticed I was a bit stumped on which shade of pink I wanted and what I though would look good with a chrome top. She put her honest opinion on everything and I'm extremely grateful, I'm in love with my nails but I can't wait to go back to be amazed with Sophia or one of her staffs talents. read more

The absolute best place to get gel nail fills. I go to Katie or Suzy & they do such an amazing job. The owner is always overseeing everything & ensuring that you are taken care of. She will give you an accurate time of how long you may wait if you don't have an appointment - tip - I always make an appointment. They carry a vast amount of colors & have unique colors not found at other salons. Clean & attractive place as well. You pay for what you get & I truly feel this is a place where you get quality service for your nails or skin - they do facials with Guinot products & you should definitely check this place out! read more

Pre-text: I rarely ever give a business (especially a small business) 1 star, but if I could give this place negative stars, I absolutely would. I know that sounds really crude, but having had pedicures done at a variety places all my life and being a generally understanding / patient person for customer service, I feel like I can rate it that low with confidence. General Review: Let me start by saying that there is a VAST difference between paying for a color change (less than $10) and paying for a pedicure ($25), but when a salon makes the service difference barely distinguishable between the two... something is wrong. When you walk in the salon and they ask whether you want a regular pedicure or a spa pedicure, you indicate you want a regular pedicure, and you are made to feel inferior for not wanting the latter... something is wrong. Details: We came here because I recently hurt my back and was having a really painful time bending down for any task, much less painting my toes for the summer. So my mom wanted to treat me because I've been feeling bleh and we were both looking forward to spending quality time together before a business trip I had to take. So let's get past the attitude / unfriendliness / grumbling of every staff member we encountered, because my mom and I can certainly keep ourselves happy just chattering away. Everyone knows that a large part of the reason that people get pedicures is 2 fold - (1) because you need to have the skin around your nails trimmed - the bed, etc.... this is kind of hard to mess up and it was fine in this regard... not great, but fine - standard and (2) to exfoliate the bottom of your feet. I am by no means implying that I need all signs of callous or roughness to disappear on my feet for eternity, but yes, I do expect at least somewhat of an effort made. It's supposed to be relaxing for godsake! I kid you not - we each got 2 brush strokes of our feet with the exfoliating rock before it was put away. That's NOT an exaggeration. Ok... so let's say that you're a really nice person and you are able to get past that - the PAINT job was horrendous. And by horrendous I mean, once you got home - you had to take OFF the nail polish you just PAID someone to apply and redo the entire thing yourself. There are worse things in life but in the realm of paying for a pedicure, you can see my distaste. If ever I were to caution someone from coming to this nail salon, this would be the time. STAY AWAY. There are plenty of salons in the area to choose from and this should not be one of them. read more

Conflicted on how I feel. My gel nails came out great from Patty, but my mom's gel manicure was a disaster from another person. Lumpy and uneven. I have never seen someone do nail gradients without an actual gradient. Disappointed that they would assign someone who cannot do gel design correctly to my mom. I get gel nails with gel polish and being that my career as a hair stylist demands a lot of my hands, I never have a problem with my nails not holding up for 2-3 weeks. I am so disappointed in this nail salon. I was charged over $50 for a half shellac manicure last week (shellac base with magnet polish over) - expecting my manicure to last about 3 weeks (what my previous shellac manicure lasted). The NEXT day the polish on my thumb was already chipped so I went back and they redid my one nail. A couple of days later the rest of my right hand was chipping ... so I went back again today. The manicurist told me it was because I was right-handed and that it wasn't a complete gel manicure. Well,... then why was I charged $50.00 for a manicure that lasted just a few days??? On top of this she "patched" my right hand nails -- just put another coat over the current one --- which made my right hand darker than the other. Then when I complained she told me it was because the sun faded my left hand in a week and didn't redo my left. Horrible, horrible customer service. Will never go back. read more

Ok first of all they happily took us for pedicures at 7pm on a Friday when they close at 7:30, so there's that. And Maria who did my pedi was so nice and did a great job. BUT, it was also the most hygienic place I've been to in the area, where they put a fresh liner into the pedicure tub, and ripped open up a sealed kit of nail tools for my pedi without me having to ask. Let me start by saying that this place is excellent! The staff remembers you after one visit and is extremely attentive to new and repeat customers to make sure they are satisfied. Rita is so sweet and she always accommodates my crazy schedule. Jay gives a great massage and will even offer you hot tea or water while you're getting your nails or toes done. I had an AMAZING facial done by Suzy. Patty does fantastic gel manicures and gel pedicures which always last for weeks without any peeling. They have a huge selection of gel polishes as well as regular polish. I can't say enough how much I love this place, it's the employees that make this place outstanding!! read more

It always feels like home everyone knows you & makes you feel welcomed I recommend all of the staff! go there and find your favorite this place does the best job in nails around every month when I come I see a new trend that everyone is trying on. The place is under a new management than when I started going there & I love it ! Sophia & her husband are awesome very trendy and super friendly! For the holidays they always have little promotions going on! I made sure to get some gift certificates for my loved ones, for xmas they gifted us these treatment for the hands such a sweet touch. Before my Mexico vacation I went and got waxed it was my first time & the staff made me feel super comfortable. I look forward to going here every 3 Weeks since that's how long my nails last ! I have been going here for my pedicures since it opened and have never had a bad experience until the past two times. In August, I went in for a pedicure and the person doing my pedicure was a massage therapist and did not know how to give a proper pedicure. She did not scrub my legs with the salt wash and when it came to painting my nails- it looked like a five year old did it. On the verge of tears, I finally asked someone to fix the nail polish because it looked horrible. I decided to give it another try- maybe that person just filled in for the day and would not be back. Boy was I wrong- even though I made an appointment, I was still given this lady. She started massaging my legs with lotion WHILE THEY WERE STILL WET- GROSS! In the middle of the pedicure, I asked for someone else to finish. Therefore, they skipped most of the steps and just went to painting my nails. At least the nail polish came out okay this time but it was definitely not a relaxing experience as I had hoped. After these two horrible experiences, I went to speak to the manager, who has always been very sweet. She told me that I should make an appointment with specific people and gave me a list of the girls that "do a good job". WAIT- ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT YOU ARE NOT CONFIDENT IN ALL OF YOUR EMPLOYEES? That, as far as I'm concerned, is a big problem. To say the least, I will definitely not be returning to Eden Nails. There are 5 other nail salons in River Vale alone, so I will definitely not waste my money here. ADDITIONAL NOTE: The gel tips price is ridiculous- sorry, I will not pay $80 to get my nails done. read more

It's important for me to feel comfortable in a nail salon, so I did resist changing from the area I had moved from (which was 40 minutes away). A friend had suggested Eden, and I am so glad that I was willing to give them a try. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome and at ease. The salon is clean and everyone is not only super friendly, but really places customer satisfaction above all else. Everyone there is so talented, I have always left feeling like I was pampered and all of my needs were met. Rita, who answers the phones, is the "ring leader" she is so friendly, sweet, and kind. Judy, Kate, and Patty are so talented at beautifying fingernails. (check them out on instagram!) The pedicures are OUT OF THIS WORLD! I do try to extend the life of mine, but I am on my feet an average of 10 hours/ day, I generally go every other week (mainly for the massage). no words to describe my great experience here. The service is great and my nails look great all the time. I usually get plain color gel on my nails but this time I got nail art and it came out so nice. I expected to pay a lot but the price was very reasonable and more so my nails looked stunning. Pedicures are very relaxing and they always get all the calluses softened and feet look nice. They give paraffin treatment, hot stone massage, and mud mask for a regular pedicure.
