One that I came across was done very well with the elements you really, really want to see. Specifically, a video with a brief and interesting presentation. A pleasing to the eye design and flow. An offer for a free and informative report. A convenient and simple request form. A quick, easy to read quote about the impact of mobile searches and sites. And it was all readily visible/readable without scrolling down. Website design is so important to your business. If it is easy to find the information, request additional information and to stay in touch with the potential customer, your success rate from visits to your site will increase. Add to that the availability of a mobile site, which is extremely important for many businesses that are searched for "on the go" and you have the recipe for success. No, I do not do website design. However, when I see a good example of something done the right way, I can't help but point it out as a guide for how "it" should be done. Perhaps I am more sensitive to this at the moment as i am really needing to have my site redone. (I got sweet talked before I learned what makes a site effective.) I have a "Read" receipt confirming that they received the cancellation but chose to ignore it and not bother to notify me that it wasn't acceptable, allowed or any other communication advising of their intent. Auto renewals despite cancellations appear to be a thing if any of the reviews I've read are to be believed. They have now sent us to collections even though the circumstances were discussed with Anne Marie. We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and have been an Accredited Business in the Fayetteville area with them since 1978. We have excellent credit but refuse to be bullied into paying for a Service we cancelled particularly by a Company we've had a business relationship with for almost 30 years! If this is the legacy LocalEdge - Hearst Media chooses to go out with, we definitely made the right decision in severing business ties to them. In reading the numerous negative reviews, it is clear that this is not an isolatted event but more like common practice.
