Update** after talk to manager she said I give them wrong information for the insurance( how is possible because the clinic got copy of my insurance card) what we sent them by email is my insurance card so isn't wrong insurance information but they call to the wrong insurance company. They still own me apologize. And for sure the lost one of patient. Be patient here for past couple years. Before last visit on November 25 2025 got phone call to get confirm insurance information sent the email of copy insurance to office get reply back that they received. Today March 11 2026 get another phone call that I suppose to call them to update insurance because I own them money for last visit. I get attitude from person that give me a call that I don't know medical insurance and dental insurance is not the same. end up with they call to claimed to wrong number. My insurance was active wait for a call to explain but didn't receive any call from them. You team need to do better and look at insurance card what company you should call to get claimed!! I want to be fair with my Review giving facts, but I will never step one foot back into Magnolia dental! The screaming on CRYSTAL'S end was completely unnecessary The whole office could hear her screaming and she told me that Dr. Staples could hear her just fine when I told her to stop yelling at me ! Telling me she's going to turn me into collections for $41 that I already had paid. I told her this then she went on saying if you were insurance does not pick up any of these charges I will be sent to collections then she proceeded to hang up the phone on me! Clearly, I have questions because I don't know what she's talking about x-rays and spacers? Turns out that she was charging me for a cleaning that I never had done! She charged my FSA card $82 not $41 for a re-cement that Dr. Staples had told me was free ... so the IRS got involved because I swiped my FSA card for $41 not $82! When I talked to the receptionist Amanda the following day because I never received a receipt through via email as had said. I asked why was I being charged $41? I also got hollered at when I was told again, it was free with the amount of pain and problems that I have been going through It became so ugly that Delta Dental had to be my advocate ! She never filed the proper claims never got a single EOB the year of 2025 until I was charged for a cleaning in January 21 26 In the year of 2025 I went a total of four times having all different doctors whoever was available to re-cement my crown ... I was screamed at and was told I needed to check with the insurance company and know my policy that I had four requence limitations in which the insurance had no idea of because there were no claims being submitted to the insurance company! In order for me to understand the four limitations I also needed their codes which I was not privy to. I have never been spoken to in such a demeaning way ! None of these employees own the company and they need to treat their customers with absolute respect ! And stop putting words into customers mouth screaming to make a scene for all to hear, including customers that are waiting in the lobby! Never go to this place! I have insurance and they still made me pay for my visit but did not tell me until AFTER I was done. They did NOT run my visit through my insurance when they said they did, so I had to call back to ask them to. When I finally saw the claim on my insurance account, they overcharged me, but didn't refund my card. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. read more

I am very happy with my experience at Magnolia Dental. From scheduling to arriving at my appointment, the process was easy and the staff was helpful throughout. As a new patient (who hates going to the dentist btw) I was reassured after meeting with Dr MacGregor. She was not mentioned on their website, so I was not familiar with her, but she was intelligent, thorough kind and made sure all my questions were answered. Her hygienist Kaitlyn, did my cleaning, and both se and Dr M were gentle throughout the process. The staff was excellent about working with my insurance and making modifications to my care based on coverage. I am returning for the second half of my deep cleaning this upcoming week and not completely dreading it like I usually am. read more

Billing department is rude and wrong, we have been fighting with them for months on overcharges trying to get refunded, we have confirmed with our insurance and they charged us incorrectly. They were supposed to have sent our refund months ago, still no refund even after repeated calls, they say that they will send the check, no check received, also have talked to another patron who has had a similar experience. read more

While visiting the area my root canal cap came off when flossing. I called Magnolia dental and they fit me in that day, staff was very friendly and I was out within an hour. I don't have insurance but their price was very reasonable. read more

They have a well trained staff who are courteous, professional and thorough. The equipment and technology is cutting edge and Dr. Ross Quartano is an exceptional dentist. I have had four visits and on each visit they have been on time and painless. Dr. Q, as his staff refers to him, is qualified to do implants from start to finish. A one stop shop so to speak. Visit to hygienist Anna K was excellent. She was thorough, answered all my questions, and after almost a year since my last cleaning, really got rid of the plaque. My mouth felt like dancing! I learned about a new coating that protects teeth and crowns and the hygienist was kind enough to look up and see if it was covered by my insurance. It wasn't, but the amount was not a problem, so I had it done as well. Dr. Zack Staples reviewed my xrays and chart. All good. Made next cleaning appointment for 6 months. PS a crown came off in December 2020 right before Christmas. Dr. Staples saw me right away, cleaned the tooth and inspected the crown and cemented it back on. All COVID protocols are followed at this practice and I felt totally comfortable and protected. read more

I do not have dental insurance, but I urgently needed my wisdom teeth taken out. I came here a few months ago for pictures and they did a great job taking care of me, the dentist was very friendly and thorough. However, after researching other offices nearby, I found a much better price on wisdom teeth removal. The new location told me they would need a copy of the images taken at Magnolia Dental. I called them up and long story short, I had to call 3 times a day (nicely) asking them to please send over my images. Each time they apologized and said they would send them to me immediately. It has now been 2 weeks of asking them to email me simple pictures. I have since given up and will have to pay out of pocket again to get them taken since they will not send them to me. I'm not sure if this is a tactic to keep my business, but I will definitely not return now. I have stressed the pain that I am in and the urgency, but they clearly do not care. read more

We were new to the area and needed to find a new dentist so we goggles and found this place. The staff were nice. We really had a good convo with the dental hygienist. She was a sweetheart and very thorough. She cleaned my hubby teeth well. The doc came in and didn't practice good customer service. He totally ignored me and our new baby, shook my husband's hand and proceed to talk to him. We were standing there aghast. Worst dentist ever. Get a second opinion! First visit Quartano told me I had 2 cavities. Plus, if I filled them both today there would be a discount. Told him I haven't had a cavity in over 40 years and that I didn't believe him. He pointed to the x-ray and said he was certain ONE of them was a cavity! Scheduled a basic cleaning. New as in recently graduated, Dental hygienist broke my fixed retainer. I heard her gasp. She knew it and didn't own up to it. My regular dentist, Quartano didn't come in for inspection following my cleaning. Instead he sent a brand new young female dentist I've never met who was in and out within 30 secs. No checkup with tools or inspection of the cleaning. If she would've bothered to look in my mouth thoroughly she would've noted the hardware breakage and it could've been addressed as an accident which I would've understood. But no. I returned home and inspected myself. Sure enough, wire cut. I called and unapologetic staff said to come in to get it fixed. I go back.. After pictures taken the new dentist (still wondering were my regular dentist Quartano is) says she questioned the "integrity" of the wire after consulting with my regular dentist. I am flabbergasted!! What about the "INTEGRITY" of this whole place and especially this unprofessional hygienist who chose to not own up to her mistake. Well if by chance that were the case it should've been caught during the cleaning and discussed. Then she made it sound as though I possibly came in with it broken!! ..again.. if that were the case wouldn't they have told me right off the bat!!?!!!! Makes no sense! To my shock they send a dental assistant in to discuss my FEES if I want it fixed (after THEY broke it)!!!! Disgusting!!! I politely left and said I would never get it fixed here bc I lost all confidence and respect in the staff and that this was the most unprofessional situation I've ever seen and will not be returning. Over the years, quality of care has gone down and this place has gotten GREEDY! Update: orthodontist confirmed wire was a clean break most likely caused by high powered cleaning tool. Hmmmm??!! Quartano literally broke the screw for my implant - thank God Dr Brown in Mandeville is so competent he fixed Ross' screw up. Don't fall for the same day discount for unneeded dental work. Won't use them again. The pains: Average cleaning services, nothing special. Average Dental consultation, Dentist wanted to be as brief as absolutely possible, and rushed through it. More dental work needed, and the person who was going to get correct quotes and information from the insurance as to what and how much would be covered never called back. No follow up attempt made. Made appointment months in advance in order to minimize school disruption, only to learn the day before the appointment that their schedule calendar showed a different date and time, and that they could not accommodate the original schedule!! This is a young practice that has just started up. All the staff is relatively young too. To my mind this is a good thing, since they have been trained in the latest tools and procedures. The equipment here is top notch from what I saw. I hadn't been to the dentist in five years and decided to go to Dr. Quartano after checking prices for a cleaning at all local places. The hygienist did a great job, they use an ultrasonic scaler here that is faster and in my opinion more comfortable than the metal picks where they manually scrape the plaque off. The x-rays and photos were all done digitally, and Dr. Quartano came in and discussed what he saw, including my previous dental work (I couldn't remember it all) and two cavities he thought needed to be filled. He showed me pictures of the teeth and indicated the cavities, so he's definitely not jerking patients around for work that doesn't need to be done. The fillings went well at a second appointment just a few days after (today). It was a 95% pain-free experience, and from what I read online he follows a very strict procedure for fillings, including using a rubber dam to prevent moisture contamination, apparently a problem that some dentists underestimate. The staff were helpful and there were no hidden charges. Dr. Quartano is very personable and remembered who I was, my job, and joked with me too. Overall I definitely recommend Magnolia dental. read more

Terrible experience. The dentist Dr. Staples and all hygienist were nice. I was told I had 7 cavities which was a shock but I usually have one or two. After having the cavities filled, I found out our estimate was filled incorrectly and we owed $700 instead of $400. I tried working with the office manager who made the error. She was incredibly rude and even said she could take me to the back and have them remove my fillings. I spoke with Dr. Staples and he assured he would speak with her (Candace) and try to the solve the issue. A few weeks later I called back and Candace was sickly sweet to me and later sent me a $5 gift card to Panera bread...my family will not be using Magnolia Dental again and all because of the service we received from Candace. read more
