Really well maintained park. 2 covered areas and 2 separate play areas. LOTS of grass and some hills for kiddos to run around. Building in between of the playgrounds with bathrooms with multiple stalls. Ample parking. The playgrounds are not shaded (still can't figure out why cities do not shade playgrounds, especially in California) but the park itself has lots of big trees. read more

Upland Recreation Department has a lot of good events throughout the year. They just added a cover area for reservation. Site B has 10 picnic tables, 2 large trash cans, and one good size bbq grill. I just reserved for a friends & family gathering in October 2023. read more

Decent sized park with a lot of trees and shade. Good sized lawn, plenty of picnic tables, and a relatively big parking lot. Was nice to see families hanging around on a Sunday afternoon. read more

i had the North Hall good event space first 4 hours are combined as one price most places have hourly rate minimum of hours you can use the space & other charges they only require you get event insurance & a deposit that's fully refundable they give you an event chart where you pick how many tables seats serving tables they have entertainment speaker set up 3 flat screen tv's you can hook laptop to display pictures event your having etc...,150 occupancy with an attached courtyard with bistro style lighting read more

This is my favorite park to go to in Upland, for sentimental values and for all that it has to offer. There are days where I just come out here with some Jamba Juice and reflect on life!! There are two playground areas, you can tell that one was made for smaller kids and one was made for big kids :) I qualify as a big kid, right?? Just Kidding. With Upland Recreation located in this park, you can come here to register your child for gymnastics, martial arts, dance, etc... I have personally volunteered to help with the Butterflies in May event in the past where we help little elementary-aged kids build a home for their cocoons. The idea is that the cocoon will turn into a butterfly :) Pretty neat, right?? You can also come here to get permits to rent out certain spaces at the parks in Upland. I have personally rented these spaces out for my birthday before. It was $15/hr when I turned 17... But that was a really long time ago, so the prices may have changed. In June, Relay4Life Upland is usually hosted here as well. For such a small city, Upland always has a good turn out rate with this event. During the summer, Magnolia Park hosts a concerts in the park event where there is a featured movie projected onto the wall on Wednesday nights. The Kiwanians of Upland Foothill Kiwanis sell popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, and other snacks at an inexpensive price. Families come with their children and basically picnic for a while before the movie starts. It is definitely a very family oriented event, but you can come with your significant other. Just keep it pg!! When there is not an event going on, the park closes at 10pm. I honestly didn't know this until someone from the Upland Police Dept gave me a verbal warning cause I was there at 9:55pm or something like that. Stop by in san antonio st. Upland, area. Walk and talk with wife. Some things drinking cold water and relax after a busy working sunday at the house. I was relieve of week stress at work and some things i have to figure it out in life generally. There were a set of a family and us. Their children having fun in the play ground. I felt refresh now is not the hot The temperature has drop and relax at home now. I like this small park quiet and cute. I will have ro cone back sometime Later on maybe during my free time. Eventually will be sometime after work to enjoy a fresh weather. read more

This is a great park to bring your children to play, have a family BBQ/picnic, or set up a fun game of flag football or your favorite sport. There are two separate children's play areas with slides, bridges and things to swing, climb and play on. There are also two separate picnic areas with plenty of seating. This park is always clean, despite having a bunch of green space to maintain. Even though Upland has a bit of a homeless problem, I've never seen any homeless people wandering around this park, so it feels really safe. read more

Park is quiet and clean. Unfortunately there is no shade over the equipment so when it's warm your kids can't play. Lots of grass, benches, and some restrooms. It'd be fantastic if it had a large shade. read more

This is a nice park of you have kids older than 2. My 2 year old is just not coordinated enough to climb on all of the equipment on her own and it's pretty high to spot her well. But I'm sure for kids that are a little bit older it's great. Pretty small park if you are looking for that. I will bring her back when she is a little better at navigating herself in big kid playgrounds. read more

Magnolia Park is right down the street from our house and it is a nice, clean park however, the concerts every Wednesday at 7pm are extremely loud and disruptive. I have a 5 month old infant and it's very difficult to put her asleep when the music is blaring in her bedroom. Very rude and disruptive to the residents who live close to the park. read more

Nice and clean park and the mountains look beautiful from here. Cute gazebo for family picnics and several tables and grills around the perimeter, and away from people if you prefer a bit more privacy. Lots of room for bouncy houses and plenty of swings and slides for the kiddies. There is a small workout area where you can do some basic exercises. Love bringing the pup here in the morning to play catch. So far it looks pretty safe and it's right next to a small fire station so I'm assuming that there is always someone around. read more

My kids and I love this park. We usually have it to ourselves. There is plenty of shade and it's breezy so you don't suffer in the heat too much. There are two parks in one. Sometimes my kids want to walk over to the other one and back if we have the time. It's a spacious park and I feel safe at this one. That may sound weird but some parks in the area have a lot of suspicious people that honestly make me want to leave to another park. The restrooms could use some work. Only one of the doors locked and there is no soap or paper towel/ dryer station. So, bring hand sanitizer for sure. Other than that I drive the 15 min to this park over a park that's directly across the street from my house. read more
