Cucamonga - Guasti Regional Park is a wonderful place to visit. It is a great park for kids to enjoy the outdoors. It has a small lake and picnic area. Parking is easy and there are onsite bathrooms those are kept pretty clean. Today I went there to celebrate a family get together. The overall environment was very relaxing and enjoyable. Facilities like swimming, water slide, water sprays and paddle bikes are also available there. If you live in California and you are looking for a wonderful park to visit, you may come to this park. read more

Shame on the city of Ontario. Look at any map and see that this is one of the only parks in a vast area and yet they charge a considerable amount just to come in and sit on the grass. There is a multitude of unreasonable rules that all make this a significantly less enjoyable park considering how small it is for a regional park(no hammocks for example). But I say shame on Ontario because it has a giant mall, airport, and vast commercial area pouring money in, and yet they do so little to maintain the one area of nature this area does have. Long story short, if you're not fishing, it should be free or cheap for the quality of the location. read more

I've been wanting to go to this park forever and I was not disappointed. It was so nice we met the man at the front gate and he gave us a basic run down where everything was and we decided to go by the big lake. They have a small one up front. There is no swimming at this park but they have a nice splash pad and playground for the little ones. We found a spot and the wind coming off the lake was so nice. There were a lot of geese and ducks right around us, super friendly they came right up to us and slept by us even. They have a path that you can walk that goes around the entire lake. It's nice exercise. We ate lunch and stayed for about 4 hours. We will be back for sure . Nice, peaceful, relaxing day. read more

This was our first time visiting the park. We came in on a Saturday and paid $10 for our parking. Our main purpose for visiting was the splash pad! Anyways, there were plenty of parking spots. We noticed there are multiple point of entry into the park and there are a couple of different parking area that you can park at, depending which entry way you so happen to be at. Most people came here to fish, there were 2 different ponds/lakes that you can fish at, one is significantly larger than the other. They have a playground for kids, splash pads, and even a pool! The pool will be closed for the remaining of the year due to maintenance. The park itself stretches out a good amount, so good for walking around, stroller and wagon friendly. There are also some ducks roaming so with that, there are bird poops kinda everywhere. The park also have restrooms facilities that were kept reasonable clean for public facilities. The splash pads get a LOT of foot traffic and it can get crowded pretty fast on a hot day. There are plenty of benches and tables for picnic and so many shaded grass area too, for those who'd like to opt to sit on the ground instead. Such a unique park smack dab in the middle of a busy industrial area flanked by an international airport! With a full day in Ontario and a toddler to entertain I found Cucamonga Guasti regional park and found a spot to entertain an entire family for a full day. There is an entrance free and a fee to fish in the lakes outside of having your state fishing license. The lakes are filled frequently with rainbow trout and catfish so there's a good likely hood of catching a fish. There's a large splash pad, two massive all inclusive playgrounds, a pool facility that was closed for the season it looks like and tons of grass space to run about. All in all a great space to spend an entire day. read more

What a friendly young ranger at the entrance. There is an $8 car entrance fee and you get a pamphlet/map. Loved the paved walkways around the 2 ponds. Lots of cranes, coots and different looking ducks were spotted today. Wide, expansive green grassy areas. A lot of picnic tables and 2 large pavilions. Couple of large parking lots. A little sad to see the ravages of time and maintenance needs for this large property. A fun looking swimming area looks closed for some years, now. Structure roof behind ranger check-in in need for repair. The massive wine barrel is looking rickety. Perhaps it's the fall season. read more

We had a blast today! $10 entry and a few hours at the splash pad. Toward the end of our afternoon we were hit with the smell of charcoal and next time we're totally bringing something to bbq! Kids had a blast and there was plenty of shade for the adults- just make sure to pack chairs or a blanket. The playground right next to the splash pad was great and just a year or two old. We also fed some duckies. The attendant at the entrance was great and shared the pool and slides likely won't open this season. read more

This park is great! My toddler and I loved it. Only $8 per car. Plenty of parking, well kept. Clean side walks. To all the parents who want to go to a SAFE park in the area, this is definitely it! You can re-enter the park as long as you bring your receipt ticket with you. If you plan on using the benches, swings or slides, you might want to bring a towel. Nice park but VERY expensive for families. $15 per person to fish, $15 per person to swim, $20 parking. If you can, go to Bonelli Park in San Dimas, just pay parking and you're in. No fishing or swimming fees. They also have kayak and paddle board rentals. read more

I first drove past the park looks nice. Looks good for a walk and for kids to play. But looks can be deceiving. Came here one Sunday morning about 8ish almost 9. Drove up paid $15 to park, no big deal most big parks you have to pay. Parked towards the back next to the playground seems good so far. Walked the kids over to the playground and what a big disappointment. Trash and poop all around. Told the kids let's go for a walk I need the exercise. Started walking again, more poop. They have a good amount of ducks roaming. Not the ducks fault. I've been to parks with tons of ducks. But this was the worst one I've seen. You can't take more than 2 steps without trying to avoid duck poop. Didn't see any other families there. Saw a few guys fishing. It seems to be a okay place if you want to get your fishing urge out. Would not recommend bring kids here at all. After walking for less than 2 minutes told my family it's time to go. Walked back to my truck and left. But not before I asked for a refund. Went back to the front and ask about getting a refund. The park attendant told me they do not do refunds. I would need to file a request with the city and it would take if not weeks months to get a refund. I said okay let's do it. I did mention to him about the trash and duck poop and all he said was oh yea I was just about to clean that up. So they handed me the form and clipboard to fill out the request. I was here with my family for literally less than 15 minutes. I can confirm that I did receive a refund. Took 5 weeks. Again do not come here unless you plan just to fish. I declare for this park to be rename Duck Poop Island. read more

This is a very well maintained county park that offers fishing, day use for parties, and a cool looking splash zone for kids. Caught a nice channel catfish and released so it could be caught and enjoyed again. There was a line to get in at 7:30 when they opened but after a short wait there was still plenty of room for everyone. I will be back as soon as time permits. If I were to make one suggestion....... There were some folks playing some loud music with very bad language lyrics next to the playground that I could hear clear across the lake. I think the rangers should have asked them to tone it down. I would not have wanted my kids hearing that. read more

It's a nice park .... it could definitely be maintained better. Went there on a Sunday whim. Paid $10 for parking. We only wanted to do the paddle boats (because of COVID-19) pretty much everything was closed. No water park, hardly anyone fishing or doing picnics in general. Can't exactly recall how much we paid exactly for the paddle boats but it was definitely a disappointment. Granted, it was on a hot day but if your hours say open until 5pm; telling people "the park closes at 5, but I decide when I want to close" is definitely not a good enough reason to turn people away simply because you wanted to get off work earlier. Also, nothing was sanitized. The boats weren't wiped down after use, the life vests were all every dirty and not cleaned properly. I wanted so badly to have a good experience here because of its location and what it has to offer, but the staff left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

This is a nice park to have a bbq at or just to take ur kids on a hot day, it's $8 on the weekday and $10 on the weekend, they have a lake that you can fish at or just walk around, they have a lot of tables as well that are in the shade. They have a very big swimming pool and a slide which is less than $5 they have a splash pad for the kids that is on everyday till 5pm and that is free and of course the large playground! read more

Had a few hours to spare before my flight. This place looked nice from the pictures and was close to Ontario airport. Poor entrance labeling so i went in the exit. Then park staff comes up and says "Can I help you?!" He then tells me it's paid entry. What kind of park makes you pay to get into? From the 2 minutes I was in the parking lot it looked trashy anyway. It's also pretty loud since it's by a 6 lane street. Ruined my mood pretty fast. read more

Fake stocking date...people spend hard earned money on fake advertising. This lake was not stocked. I spoke to everyone who was fishing, and they were complaining about the false advertising. Plus, they had $5 fishing derby going on..easy money for the broke ass county. read more

I've come to Guasti Park in the past for family picnics. There is a $10 parking fee for cars or those who walk in are still charged a $2 fee. Regardless of the fees this park is such a nice park--there are benches, grills, and other park amenities available for use such as a swimming pool and fishing pond. Jerk Food Festival 2017: Food Festival 11a-3p Music Festival 4p-10p I attended a Jerk Fest Food Festival held at Guasti Park and had such a lovely time. I arrived around 5p and left around 930p. I checked in and everything went smoothly--everyone SO friendly. I didn't know what to expect; I knew there would be great music, great people, and great food. There was a general admission entrance for the music portion and another gate for VIP. I was able to get up close to some great artist and also some great footage on my cameras. Hundreds of people attending for a magical night ahead. The artists included Wailing Souls, Firgo Digital, Barrington Levy, and Queen Ifrica. All the artist played authentic tunes from the islands which had me swaying from side to side as if I knew what I was doing--when really the music took over. A night full of dancing and great people was exactly what I needed. I look forward to this event in 2018! read more

This place isn't too bad. Pay $10 to get in, you can fish, there's a water playground and nice cement path to ride your bike. Lots of families were near the water park with kids. Came for a baby shower here. Tons of shade here. They have benches and bbqs here as well. Good spot for families to Spend the day at. 3 stars because the restrooms were horribly kept up and the ground could be taken better care of. Lots of brown spots. In all the numerous years I've lived in the area, this is the very first time I've been here...in the morning of the last Sunday of 2020. This isn't based on the fishing at all. This is purely about the walking experience. I don't care for it, wasn't there for long, and will never return. This park's pretty big, but it's NOT good for walking. The path runs out after a bit and you're suddenly on the grass or dirt. There's duck pooh all over the paths and lawn as well as slippery green algae in some places, so you have to watch your step all over. There's not much scenery. Then, there's a dirt parking lot, which we walked across to see if there was any more good walking, but no. When you get on the other side of the parking lot, there's just a concrete path that leads straight to a group of picnic tables. A few areas of the concrete path have huge puddles, so you have to walk around them on the grass. They should have made a nice, wide path going around the entire perimeter of the entire grounds, including the lakes. There's two separate lakes too. They have pedal boats and a couple of water slides, which weren't in operation at the time. They still charge $10 to get in on weekends and $8 on weekdays, which I think they should only charge those who want to fish. But I know, they can't monitor what you're going to do when you get inside. I wish I could get my $10 back! read more

This flat, uncrowded handicap friendly park is conveniently located near the 10 freeway. There are plenty of ducks and coots bobbing in the lake and waddling on shore. The grass my hiking friend had sat on, was damp enough to soak through a towel and his pants when he sat down. So bring a chair instead, if you just want to hang out and enjoy the tranquil lake/park. Although it is not kept up as well as Yucaipa Park, it offered a fantastic view of the mountains nearby. If I were a painter, I would be inspired. The house's reflection on the water was right out of a storybook. read more

It's $400 to rent a shelter which is an insane amount of money but I really wanted to have my sons Fishing themed birthday there so I went to check it out and I couldn't believe how crappy the tables were, BBQs were pretty run down. The one that is closest to the playground is the worst one with tables that have got to be 30 years old. I just feel like if they are going to charge that much for a shelter it should be in much better condition. The shelters are large and have a TON of tables. So if your looking to host a huge party and don't mind paying then this would work. But it's disappointing that they don't have a mid range option for people who don't need 16 tables & a 1/2 acre of space. read more

Let me start by saying that the park is nice. My family and I decided to go for Memorial Day so I figured it would be pretty packed and it was. The 1st thing that threw me off was having to pay 10 for parking. This was the 1st time I've ever had to pay to park my car at a park. The park itself was big and had numerous gorgeous looking views. My daughter and niece really enjoyed using all of their water attractions on a sunny day. The only other thing that threw me off was having to pay if you wanna fish. Again, it's the 1st time I've ever seen that. I'm not saying that doesn't exist anywhere but its the 1st time I've seen it at a local park. Took my son fishing here. He made it maybe 30 minutes before he decided to give up and go play in the splash pad. It's a lovely park, the splash pad is enjoyable, the park rangers are kind and informative. The admission price is reasonable. Haven't done the pool area, maybe next summer. read more

I'm giving them one star because I can't give them less. The park closes at 5 but they do not tell you they close the splash area at 4. Then the sprinklers start working at 4:30! We had to move three times while we were trying to clean up because the sprinklers kept turning on. I understand they want us to start cleaning but they should time the sprinklers at a later time, not when people are trying clean and go. Very dissatisfied!! read more
