As what I know when you pay the first time to file it covers if the taxes are amended. We had to pay and she didn't even explain we had to send them out by mail and wait another 3 months. But when our taxes become more complex--many more deductions and having to pay quarterly state and federal taxes as independent contractors, they were not up for the job--didn't return phone calls, and took weeks to file out taxes which needed to be redone. We ended up having to pay a more specialized tax preparer to straighten out what became an expensive mess. If you need a bookkeeping/simple tax preparation business, this is an excellent choice for you. But if your taxes are more difficult, pay the extra money for an accounting firm. The one we chose even had financial advisors who helped us choose the best way for us to keep inflation for eating up our savings, with no addition cost for the service.
