She even helped me find a good one. Then, when an appointment opened up, she called me and booked the appointment for me at Ortho Bethesda. Stacey, you are an angel. I went to see Dr. Gazdag and he was wonderful. He was funny and an excellent professional. We took more X-rays, so if you see a light in Rockville, it is just me glowing at night. I am in a boot and a cane, but no surgery needed. Amen! The people who work with Dr. Gazdag and Ortho Bethesda were awesome. They were very nice and helpful. I got great care and I have respect for the office. And, thank you, Stacey for making sure I was taken care of.

I have dealt with bilateral hip pain for 4 years without proper diagnosis. Dr. Wolff knew what was wrong in 5 minutes of my exam. I had a right Hip Arthroscopy for FAI with Labrum Reconstruction on 4-19-2024. Immediately after surgery my hip pain was gone and the recovery was a breeze. I do not know if I am the exception but I was walking without crutches by day 11-12 without any issues. If you need any hip procedure in the DMV Dr. Wolff and his team are without exception the best Orthopedic Surgical Group around! Highly recommend!

I Had hip labrum reconstructive surgery with Dr. Wolffe, and for over a year he insisted that the…read moreongoing pain in my hip was due to inflammation. I went back to him every 2 to 3 months for that year explaining to him that I was diligent with my physical therapy and taking the medication he told me to take, and yet the hip wasn't getting any better. But He continued to insist it was ongoing inflammation for over a year. Since he wasn't willing to consider what else it might be or offer any other solutions to help me, I went out and got a second opinion. So I saw another surgeon, and after he operated on me, he determined that I had extensive scarring inside my hip binding the hip flexor muscles to the hip capsule. After he removed all the scar tissue from my hip, it was much better and pain free. Dr. Wolff refused to consider that anything else may be going on, and so he wasn't able to help me. While a nice man, I found that he was rushed during our appointments and he wasn't always in the moment. So I don't feel he was always listening to what I had to say. Regardless, him continuing to insist my pain was due to inflammation for an entire year wasn't really him thinking about what else the problem might be or to consider other solutions.

For the past two visits, both appointments have been nearly all on-time, which I appreciate. The facility also has an in-house X-ray technician and machine, which cuts down on time. I can't emphasize on how much I really appreciate the aspect of how efficient the entire team there works. As strange as it may sound, I couldn't help but to feel like I am guilty of wasting everyone's time there, and I felt rushed and flushed out of there quickly. Yes, I love physicians who are on time and the office so efficient that I waltz out of there happy and ready to get on with the rest of my day. Maybe it's just me who felt bad about the reasons and cause of issues I have presented and I felt like there's really nothing anyone can do about it. Maybe I should just call it disappointment. I'm not sure. Whatever the case is, I will just go back to my regular orthopedic office I've come accustomed to.

He was very confident that he could give do the surgery and improve my quality of life as it pertained to my foot pain and issues. I am going to be honest, there was a good amount of work done to my foot. Repair a plantar plate, fix a mild bunion, and remove 2 neuromas. He said he needed to shorten the second toe. I did everything that he told me to do. I did physical therapy in his office for the full recommended time. I went every week wearing 2 masks in a crowded office. I did all recommendations...Alex Brinlee my PT was excellent. However, Dr Feldman kept pushing the goalpost when I was not pain-free with the right amount of mobility in my foot. First, it was, give it 3 or 4 months....then, it takes at least 6 months, then, 9 months I am sure it will be better, and finally, this usually takes a year...Well, we are about 1.5 years post and my second toe doesn't move, the pain barefoot is the same or worse and I STILL can only wear sneakers comfortably. I cannot WEAR a small wedge or simple ONE inch heel. He said that I would be able to wear better shoes and was VERY confident. One visit that I had where I was complaining about my pain and the thickness on my foot, he ASSURED me that the thickness GOES AWAY and also told me that my x-ray was beautiful. Hmmm...Oh, I am glad my x-ray looks so lovely but how about you acknowledge how the PATIENT feels? I definitely felt he was being extremely arrogant. So, as time has gone on, I am very grateful that I can walk. I am grateful that I have my foot! But not happy with the outcome of my surgery. I did NOT want to post this review, but I wrote Dr Feldman a letter letting him know of my displeasure. Of course, he did NOT respond to me. That in itself speaks volumes. I want say that while I do NOT think that Dr. Feldman did anything WRONG. It just happened but his arrogance and lack of solutions are what is disappointing. Oh, let me not forget to mention that he recommended that I "protect my investment" by purchasing $300 custom insoles that HURT SO MUCH I CANNOT WEAR them. A total waste of money. Think twice about going to this practice!!!! Is this the type of doctor you want? Arrogance and no offering of better solutions to what a patient considers a FAILED surgery?

I previously had the same surgery on my right foot with a different orthopedic surgeon, and the recovery was extremely long and painful. Because of that experience, I was honestly nervous going into this procedure. However, Dr. Schipper completely changed my expectations. I experienced minimal pain and very little swelling, and the healing process was fast and smooth. The incision work was excellent -- only three small incisions that healed beautifully. The difference in recovery compared to my prior surgery was night and day. Dr. Schipper is not only highly skilled but also very kind and reassuring. He takes time to explain everything and makes you feel prepared and comfortable before surgery. His imaging diagnosis convinced me of the importance to move forward with hip replacement surgery. Summit Orthopedics works closely with Sibley Hospital so I was able to schedule a Monday morning surgery and overnight stay at the hospital. The Nurse Navigator Supervisor at Sibley provided information on Pre-Op procedures and an appointment with Sarah, Summit's Nurse Practitioner, involved a review of the surgical procedures and the list of medications with a review of frequency. Dr. Siram brought together a great surgical team comprised of the Sibley Hospital Orthopedic doctors and nursing staff and an anaesthesiologist. The first nurse assigned to my post-Op care placed top priority on Pain Control and coordinated a meeting with In-House PT/OT Team to review and practice the Post-Operative exercises. I completed 2 weeks of In-Home physical therapy with Potomac Home Health Care, affiliated with Johns Hopkins and Sibley. The PT specialist was exceptional: checked vitals; reviewed my medications; provided a home exercise plan that helped me to begin walking with and without a cane, before starting In Office Post-Op PT. Nov 2021 - Bike accident resulting in "skier's thumb" aka torn ulnar collateral ligament (UCL). I…read moresaw a MedStar orthopedist in Jan/Feb who X-rayed it said it was torn but would heal. It didn't get better, so I saw Dr. Pan (OrthoVirginia) in April 2022. She ordered an MRI, said my ligament was string-thin, and strongly recommended surgery asap. This would've been expensive and inconvenient, so I visited WOSM in June 2022 for a 3rd opinion. Dr. Barth explained that the MRI showed my ligament is fine (acknowledging that the joint was still a little swollen and achy), and for some reason UCL injuries can take a year to fully recover. He said we could revisit surgery that fall if it's still problematic. I almost teared up with relief that I could avoid surgery (and that he was not a profit-seeking surgeon). Patience paid off, as I now have full strength, range of motion, and only occasional sensitivity at the extremes. I suspect lingering issues would have been worse if I had surgery.

He shows you the X-rays , educates you and follows up diligently so you can see what is happening. He is always available to answer all questions. I also had a friend (over 60) who had a complete shoulder replacement. My friend showed me the X-rays and demonstrated how his shoulder works now - truly a miracle! He has completely recovered and has full use of his shoulder so he can do what he wants to do again. He followed through with all physical therapy but attributes the success to Dr. Petruccelli's skill as a surgeon.
