My friend and I went here for SNS (powder dip) manicures, and because there was only one employee available, we had to get ours done one at a time- and although she was very nice, service was definitely rushed because of it. Neither of us ever had SNS before, so we didn't know what the process was and so we didn't know to point out when things were wrong, but neither of us were super pleased with how they came out, especially given the price- but again, it was our first time getting SNS, maybe this is just how it looks? Nope. It's now the next day and I am writing this with painful, swollen fingertips. Not only is the manicure uneven, but the dip polish was applied in a way that affixed my nails to my skin. I will have to go get this taken off as soon as possible, so it was a complete waste of $50 (plus tip). EDIT: My friend's fingers are super swollen and painful, too- so it wasn't just my fingers reacting poorly. read more

Update, i received my manicure on Monday and today is Wednesday and so far my nails have broke, i had to file them down. There are pockets of dirt that they neglected to clean when they attached the nails and the unevenness is visible throughout. I am annoyed and now I have to go to another salon to fix the awful job they did. read more

My husband and I had the one hour foot massage (45min foot and 15 min neck and shoulder) and we were very happy! They hit all the pressure spots and were very thorough with the treatments. Incredible recommendation, huge shoutout to my cousin for recommending this place when I had neck pain! I was lucky enough to have Sharon give me an hour long Shiatsu full-body massage at the introductory price of $49. Sharon was kind enough to ask where my areas of concern was and was incredibly attentive to my knots and aches. I workout a lot so I tend to have knots on my back and backaches from sitting all day. So I came here with my sister to relieve all my back tension and this place did the magic. This is my second time here. First time was really bad! Felt like i was paying to be rubbed with oil. It was really that bad. I think because it just opened and the owner had a few new people who weren't good with what they were doing at al! However this time, I definitely see a lot of improvement! They got rid of all bad masseuse i guess.. (Which is good) My masseuse's name began with an E and my sister had Nina. They were both really good! Ms. E thoroughly rubbed my back and felt the knots and hit the pressure points. She rubbed out all the knots and gave me a good stretch and pull. She worked on my back longer than my feet cause she said I have a tough back which i totally agree and did not mind at all! Paid $45 for a Living Social voucher for a 1 hour massage and when I got to the place there was a sign out front advertising $39 for a one hour massage for 1st time clients. I went in and presented my voucher and the old guy sitting at the front desk tried to charge me $7 tax!! Seriously?? I told him it wasn't happening and he took $5, which is still way more than any other place I have been to with a voucher. Massage was ok, but when I left the place the old guy was shouting at me to not use a voucher again and they would match the price but you couldn't pay me to go back. Avoid at all cost. read more

I really want to give a good review because they are very, very sweet and very professional. However, since the massaged (which was about a month ago) I'm now having to do physical therapy because the masseuse was too hard on my back, even when I told her she was going too hard on the bone. I've been here a few times and each time the experience was good. I get the facials and I come out renewed and relaxed. They also give you head and shoulder massages during ur facials. I don't get the regular massages but my family does and they love it. The place is pretty and not bad for a basement location. Very good massage! Good female masseuses'.. Got all the knots out of my back and got all my pressure points nicely! Started off with 30 minutes of the Swedish full body with strong pressure then halfway through asked for medium so that I could relax a bit as all my knots where gone ! Really nice oil, good hot towels at the end. Left feeling really good, very relaxed and very light on my feet. I would advise that you keep your underwear on as they are not scared to delve into private territory... I personally didn't mind it as she didn't get too close to certain areas but my boyfriend seemed to end up worse off than me and there was a bit of I appropriate rubbing! Neither of us were too fussed as they didn't cross any lines and to be honest if someone is going to rub your entire body for an hour there isn't really much point in being prude about it! I have had massages everywhere from the Four Seasons and Trump Hotels, to other cheaper places. I worked down the street just a few doors over, and was excited to try it out. This place, by far, has given me the best massage I have EVER had, 3 times! I can't recall their names, but two male masseurs are trained in Chinese Medicine and massage and were absolutely incredible. Like I said, I have had massages from everywhere, upscale to plain, and this was by far the best massage experience I have ever had. Every single time I leave feeling like a new person. They got all of my knots and tightness out without to much pressure or pain, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience the whole time. All of the staff are extremely kind. The ambiance is nice, darkly lit rooms, VERY clean, smells great, minimal noise or disruption. I cannot wait to go back, I would recommend this to anybody, and the price is great! The massage by the man was good, but it's a bit overpriced by $ 10 to $ 15 dollars compared to other Chinatown massage parlors. The place is attractive and clean and friendly. This place is a hole in the wall and all the woman at the reception desk is extremely nasty. She was rude and did not accommodate the voucher I purchased online. Online it states to restrictions at time of redemption and when I get there she tells me all these restrictions and if I don't like it I can get a refund.
