$30/ 30 minute incredible couples massage. Would absolutely come again. We walked in too and were seen right away.

DONT COME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! First time to ever ask massage to stop mid session. If I can give negative stars I would. We came in as walk-in for a couples massage about three days ago. They were able to take us in right away. They tried to put us in a couples massage room just right in front of the awaiting area. But we asked for our room to be changed because that room where they initially placed us because it is actually an area where staff were storing their personal items and staff were coming in and out even if they know that there are already customers insude, getting ready for the massage. Plus, that door keeps on opening up to the waiting area, which is where other customers are also waiting hence they can't see if you're butt naked. They eventually put us in the room all the way in the back. Took a while for the masseuse to come in. By the time one of us got started the owner or manager barged in asking if we can transfer to another room because another couple wanted a couples room. Note- we were already undressed, laid on the bed and massage already started. We told the owner that we are also a couple ( same-sex couple). She immediately turned away, annoyed, and let out a "TSK" annoyed sound. The massage itself was terrible. Worst of all the massages I've ever had in my life. She clearly did not know how to massage properly, no pattern, putting pressure on bones instead of muscles, while she's using her arm to massage you she's using her other arm/elbow to anchor herself, pressing on your back/spine. It was so painful I've had to ask her to stop, be gentle, please be careful, at least five times. Eventually, it became too painful and uncomfortable to bear I'd ask her to stop and end the massage right away, this was about 20 minutes in to a one hour massage. They also don't know how to properly drape you during massage, body is exposed, even if that area is not being massaged. My wife was given a male masseuse. When we were getting ready to leave and getting dressed, the owner and manager abruptly came to the room, while we were still half naked. I told them to please excuse as we are still getting dressed. They did not leave the room asking what went wrong. We explained the experience. They were apologetic saying that the masseuse is new. Clearly, she did not have any training. We ended up just paying and just leaving. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Horrible horrible horrible massage. The guy had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He used almost no oil or lotion and his hands were covered in calluses. This was a terrible combination and hurt my skin plus it felt awful . He also kept massaging my spine right on the bone and now my back is LITERALLY INJURED. I get massages a lot and this is BY FAR the worst I have ever encountered. He also followed me to the cashier and stayed close while I was being asked what tip I wanted to add to put pressure on me. read more

The massage was so painful because she kept hitting my bones and not muscles! I had to beg her to stop! The environment smelled weird. After the massage, she told me she was sweating and grabbed my arm to wipe the sweat off of her forehead! Eww! Got a very good deep tissue massage. But the facilities were much older than pictured. However they were clean and comfortable.

Worst massage I ever had. The massage therapist had very dry skin on his hands that even the oil didn't soften. Idk how his hands are so dry if he's massaging for his job. We found this place last minute, and so glad we did! $30 for a 60 min foot massage is a great deal. My masseuse (male) was excellent. We've been in NYC the past week and walking 30k a day, so my feet were killing me. He did such a great job and I was relaxed from start to finish. After my massage, I felt like I could walk for miles! My boyfriend's masseuse seemed good also. She did get up a couple of times to talk to customers, answer the door, etc. So I feel bad my bf didn't get the full 60 min. If I could give a separate rating for the massage, it would definitely be a 5 star (at least for my person). My 3 star review is mostly for their payment process. We wanted to give a 20% gratuity but didn't have enough cash on hand so we decided to do tip on card instead. They did not tell us that if you do card payment, it's $32 instead of $30. Still, we wanted to do a 20% tip. We do tip on card, but I guess the lady (the one who did my bf's massage) didn't like that. She said the tip we gave is only good for one person only. We tried explaining that it should be for both. So we gave them the remainder of the cash we had. Overall, we gave about a 35% gratuity. And she still looked down on us. read more

I had a wonderful massage this morning with Lisa. I've passed this place for years but since it's on the 3rd floor I would go across the street bc I was wary of going up an elevator. To my surprise the massage was amazing as I like deep massages. The elevator open up right into the spa. Their prices are more like Chinatown prices or even lower. The special right now is $55 for 90 min. But I think it's normally $55 for 80 min. Foot massages as low as $30 for 60min. One con is that it is older place so you don't have the hot rocks and isn't bright and new. For me it was fine. If you're a clean freak you might want to bring your own towels. But I'm giving the place a 5 start bc of the pricing and the the amazing massage. I usually get 2-3 hr massages down I. Chinatown. And I'm glad I found one near where I live and has lower prices than other place around here. Definitely give the place a try but would call ahead and book a place. Absolutely the worst. I agree with on of the other yelpers on here that said the person they had seemed like they did not want to do the massage, my sister got that person. The girl I had was decent but also was not that great either. There was some miscommunication in the beginning of our conversation about the room we were supposed to be in and since then the 2 ladies doing our massage talked the whole time to eachother and seemed to like they were talking about us. That made us feel uncomfortable. Another client came in and asked for an 80 min massage and the lady said nope, I'll do a 60 min one. So rude. This place is totally different in 2022 and it is disgusting. I had whoever Sandy R. had because this dude had no boundaries and his hand was in my butt crack - not once, not twice, but over a dozen times. I literally pushed him away several times and asked him to stop touching me there, but he kept going. Predatory behavior and this is one of many problems. He pulled my underwear off, almost to my knees... my private parts were actually exposed. He was standing on the other side of the table at the time, but I was clearly uncomfortable and I had to keep pulling my underwear back up and he would push it back down. I felt like that was a constant battle. Finally, when he started on legs, he threw the towel over my head and my entire lower half was exposed. He then pushed my underwear into my butt crack like a thong and I was fully exposed. That's when I had enough and covered myself with the towel and told him to stop exposing me. He pretended not to speak English, so I told him in Chinese. Ugh. I honestly tried to leave but he just kept going and would be like "it's okay." When it came time to turn over, he stared at me and I watched him as he stared at my breasts on the flip. I said "hey wtf" and he kept saying "it's okay." Uh, it's really not okay. He also definitely brushed against my hoo hoo several times. I spent the entire massage trying to cover myself and when not doing that, I felt his long ass nails or I was in pain when he would scrape a bony area over 10 times. After 100+ massages, this was the only one I couldn't take and had to brush him away several times and I had a lady step on my back recently and a different lady put her elbow in my neck - still way more tolerable than this. To be clear, I have a low bar for what's touched during massages, and even consented to a boob massage in Thailand years ago, but when your hand and thumb are literally in my butt crack and you're touching my private parts without consent, especially when you're the opposite sex, that's a hell no from me. I definitely think there's some shady business happening here. Of course, I wanted to report him but there was no one else there but him. Convenient. The towels also smelled like sweat and bleach. Quite frankly, I don't understand how this place has 4/5 stars. My friend and I both received back massages which were not relaxing, uncomfortable and just plain awful. As soon as the two employees left the room, my friend and I both looked at each other like "that was horrible". We couldn't wait to leave. As we checked out, the lady said "Okay, now that will be a $20 dollar tip" Then when we handed each of our " masseuses" a $10 dollar bill for a tip, both employees looked as they were upset for such a tip and were almost begging for more money. I was able to do a walk in around 9p. I'm usually a bit nervous getting massages because I'm quite sensitive and I don't get massages often so I'm sure I have a lot of knots, but I was out walking all day and I felt like my body needed it. Some parts were tough as expected but the masseuse did a good job with going easy when needed, and my body felt renewed afterwards. So glad I went! They do massage your butt cheek but I didn't feel uncomfortable, it was very professional. I've been here before with a woman masseuse and had no issue, however today I went in for an 80 min massage, told him I wanted him to focus on my left upper back - I pointed to my neck and shoulder area, and my left thigh. He did that for maybe like 10 min At the beginning he had pulled my underwear almost all the way down to wrap the towel, and then when he got to my lower back he pulled them like super down past my butt cheeks and was literally massaging all the way down into my tail bone which at first I was like this way deeper than usual and then he started massaging my butt cheeks but w his fingers going way too into my butt crack area, and then after doing that for WAY longer than my upper back (more than double the time), he goes to do my thighs and try's pulling my underwear all the way off so I was like um no, and told him im pulling them all the way up and then he can place the towel to do my legs, had I not he would have seen my entire private section, and then he's doing my thigh for like a second and then keeps going back up to my butt and so im uncomfortable bc my neck hurts and he's wasting all this time on nothing, so I tell him to do my neck more please and he goes yes yes 80 min long time, so then he quickly does my other leg and then comes up to do my neck again for like 2 min and then says "actually only 60 min today" and I was so uncomfortable I wanted it to be over anyways so I said fine. I called the second I left to report and then when I told her she started acting like she didn't speak English anymore and said okok cal back Tuesday. read more

Came here for a 1 hour foot massage. It wasn't very good and it seemed like the lady didn't know what she was doing. She adjusted where my feet were in the table for a few minutes then right afterwards asked me to do a 180 on the table. The massage itself was very sub par. I saw that there was a deal for 80 minutes for $55 so instead of the foot massage, I opted for this, and am glad I did! The massage was just the right amount of pressure. You are separated from others just by thin sheets, so you will likely hear noise from other massages. (I heard a few moans and sighs, but it didn't necessarily detract from my experience.) Upon leaving I noticed a few chairs when you first walk in to the right, which I assume are the foot massage chairs. I'm kind of glad that I didn't get the foot massage because that area seemed a little cramped. This is not your average no frill place. The place goes above and beyond to make sure you can relax both physically and mentally there. They have a door built that separates the massage and reception area so you won't hear any noise from the staff. The bed and towels are extremely clean. Ask for Tina, she's one of the best massage therapists I've had in years. She focused on the overall flow of different techniques, rather than just hard pressing, which helps a lot with de-stressing and pain relieving. Great attention to details as well. Spa Next, formerly Ocean Bodywork is definitely a cut above your typical downscale Asian massage place. Their spot is Clean, friendly, and affordable , and right on east midtown. I am, in fact, a massage therapist. I work in an east midtown office a few blocks away. Spa Next is now my go to place. In addition to their regular affordable prices, they often have specials that make it simply too good to pass up. Annie, in particular, is awesome, but I've had massage from several masseuses there, and honestly never had a bad one. As a massage therapist, I have very high standards. Lastly, it is nicer looking, more softly lit, and generally just a nicer atmosphere than most. I highly recommend! read more
