Maddie and Stacey left our house sparkling and smelling incredible. You deserve a 5-star. The only reason the rating is a 4 is because of inconsistent cleans from others. To be completely honest in this review, we've seen a number of different teams and some cleans have been better than others. We cancelled this cleaning service because they don't complete the job and they don't value customers, they just value their money. The first cleaning crew assign to our home more than a year ago did a great job. During the last six months the cleaning crews changed monthly and quality declined progressively. The last straw was when we left a note reminding the crew to sweep and mop the bathroom floors. The note was left because i noticed they did not mop the floors on the previous visit. When we reviewed the cleaning crew's job later that day, they did not mop the bathroom or kitchen floors. I called the office to complain and they offered to send another crew out to the house to correct the problem. When we were getting ready to leave my dear home town and decided to let someone else clean up our mess - MaidPro won the job!!! I had called several other companies and had gotten prices all over the place, but I never realized how booked up some of these places could get. Then I got an offer in the email from Living Social and called these ladies. We had a mix-up in the appointment setting as someone called and wanted same thing same day as I did and then canceled it - they thought I had cancelled - I freaked! Good thing my inner control freak kicked in and I called to confirm my appointment. They apologized and got someone out to clean up the place. You can be sure it's them when they arrive because the little car says MaidPro all over it (plus their shirts). The girl they sent was so petite I looked at her and said "You are going to do this all by yourself???" I didn't mean to be condescending but she just looked like a kid from Jr. High. She may have been petite but DAMN!!! she was good! The tubs, the shower door, the baseboards, and OMG! the fridge...if we hadn't moved I might have bargained with hubs to get her to come once a month to clean. It was a beautiful clean........now that apartment complex better give me my security deposit back! read more

I've been with Maid Pro for about a year now. Up until recently, I would say that they did a good job for the money. Some weeks were better than others, but for sure a consistent 3.5 star rating. The ladies are always super sweet and responsible with my 2 dogs being around. And my house always looked tidy and much better than it had prior. But then today, a totally different crew came because one of my regulars had a doctor's appointment. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Not only were both girls sweet, they cleaned like BOSSES!!! So much better than my original crew, that I contacted the owner and requested that they become my regular crew from here on out. The first cleaning service I called said they did not do windows, so I called MaidPro. The manager said that they did windows. I explained that we had a vaulted ceiling and that some of the windows were high up. The manager gave me no indication that this would be a problem. If she had, I would have moved on to another service. All we wanted done were the floors, baseboards, and windows, so getting the windows done was extremely important. When the cleaning person arrived she said that she did not do high windows. I called the manager who told me that she had explained to me when we made the arrangements that the cleaners do not get up on ladders and do not clean high windows, that they are not insured for that. I can tell you that the manager never said any such thing. If she had, I would have moved on. She insisted that she told me, stating that she tells everybody this. I commented that because she thinks she tells everybody, she assumes she told me. Bottom line was that we paid full price for only partial work. The manager made no attempt to accommodate or compromise. She consistently interrupted me and talked over me. On top of that, when it was all done, she charged my card I had been forced to give her when I set up the cleaning date, though I told her at that time I did not want to pay with that card. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience that will cost us more as we will need to hire an additional service to do the work MaidPro promised they would do but did not. read more

It's been a few years since I used the MaidPro service and when I started up service again recently, I remembered just how nice it is to have a team of two come in and efficiently clean my home top to bottom in less than two hours. Paulina introduced herself, got a quick tour of the home and went right to work. I suggest that you do not waist your money with MaidPro Ballwin. I just had a baby and a friend bought me 5 hours (maximum) cleaning. I did not have high expectations for cleanning services, but since this would not cost me any money, I called Kim to schedule the cleaning. She was great, took several notes, explained the services in detail. When the day for the cleanning arrived, my mom was home with the baby and, even though 5 hours were paid (2.5 per cleaner), one lady stayed less than 40 minutes and the other one close to 2 hours. To give an idea of how poor the cleanning was, when my husband arrived, he called me and asked if the cleanning crew had come, because it seemed that nothing was done (believe me, my husband is not the type of man that notes how clean a house is). They vacum the main floor, dusted a shelf on my son's play room, turned the dish washer on and cleaned my room's bathroom and a 1/2 bathroom. That is it. They had a check list that said that all bathrooms were cleaned, and several other items which were not true. It was clear they were being deceiving. This was a gift and I could just let it go, but I felt so cheated that I called to complain. Kim said she was going to 'see the other side of the story'. I felt little bad about that, but being a manager myself, I always try to be fair to my employees. She called back, and said the cleaner said that she cleanned 2 out of my 3.5 bathrooms. She said they were 'in bad shape'. Knowing they had cleanned a bathroom that is used only by me and the 1/2 bathroom, I knew the state they were and that statement was not true. My kitchen had trash on the floor (little wraps) that were not picked up, I am not sure they even mopped the floor (we are talking about an area 3ftx3ft). I am the one that cleans my house most of the time. I know how much it takes to clean the main floor, clean 2.5 bath and vacum the upstairs and 5 houses would have been more than enough. I was not expecting a very deep cleaning, I was prepared for a mild cleaning, but this was significantly below expectations. Please don't spend your money with this cleaning service, especially if you depend on that cleanning due to visitors from out of town. read more
