I purchased a Groupon deal for 4 hours of cleaning in Yonkers and made an appointment with maidpro. It took me a few times to get an appointment because Groupon deals have to go through a manager. Marlando returned my call and was awesome to work with. A+ for customer service. He scheduled my appointment and we were set to go. Then there was some confusion with the person who was supposed to come but as soon as i contacted Marlando, he had the problem rectified before i even got home and had two people come clean my house to make up for lost time. The two people who came were really good. I wish i had a before picture of my oven but they had it sparkling!! They didn't get to all the rooms in my house but I blame myself because my house was a pretty big mess. They even washed my dishes and did a thorough cleaning and dusting of my sons room, our living room, office, kitchen and two bathrooms. All the clutter was left in manageable piles per my consent and all surfaces were dusted and cleaned. They finished the job with vacuuming and mopping. I think if i had some time to declutter, i would have probably made it easier for them to be more productive. Overall i would recommend them. FYI their company policy is not to take out the trash just in case they throw something out that you didn't want to throw out. I would hire them again. They are not professional and they do a terrible job. I do not recommend this to anyone.They do a superficial job in cleaning. I gave feedback twice since the house was not cleaned, but nothing changed. The floors were dusty and the only thing that was cleaned was the bathroom. I live in a house with no children and no animals (so really easy job), but the maid was not cleaning the floor even if I asked for that. They offered to come back and clean the house the first time, but i said it was ok. When the second time the maid did not clean, I called and asked for a refund. The manager first said it was fair since I already left a complaint, but then changed his minded and only took 20% off. As you can see in the picture, after the first time, I left a sock under the bed, and some dirt in the dining room. The floor was not dusted, nor vacuumed. read more

I used Maidpro 3 times and have had 2 different cleaners. Maybe it's the cleaners that Marlando sent me, but I didn't think they were that great. I am extremely picky when it comes to cleaning. I pay attention to detail and I feel like the cleaners that were sent to me were not particularly mindful of certain areas of my house, and almost pretty careless. To be fair, prices were pretty reasonable and Marlando was pretty good at getting back to you. Although, the third time I requested an appointment it took a few days for him to get back to me. I notice that a lot when you start new services with a business. They tend to be very attentive in the beginning, but once they think they have your business full time, they tend to slack. They use their own products, which can be a good and bad thing. What I really don't like is the mopping they do. They do not use a traditional bucket and mop, but rather they spray some solution on your floor and wipe it over with one of those dust mops. I hate that! I almost feel like they just reuse that mop in different people's homes. I really feel like they don't get my floors clean that way. I also requested one of those times for the cleaner to clean the inside of my stove and fridge. I had to pay extra for those services and you would think it would be worth the extra money, but it definitely wasn't. I don't think I will use them again. They are good for very basic cleaning. If you're ok with just getting the surface clean in your house, and getting your floors cleaned with used rags, then by all means these are the cleaners for you... ...and so my search continues! read more

We are new to the area and needed a cleaning of our condo we just purchased. Although the condo was empty, we had recently gotten the floors sanded and stained, so it was quite dusty. The two people we had did a very superficial job. Things dusted were only at eye level, at best. As you can see in the photos, shelves were wiped, but not precisely getting corners. Higher shelves were not even touched! Other things were never touched as well, such as the upper windows, top of lower window near locks, and freezer drawer, as well as streaky windows and mirrors (see photos). We had to waste much time re-cleaning everything. For this price, we expected much better service. From my experience, we will not be using MaidPro again. read more

I used to think paying someone to clean my house was for the rich or lazy however, the hustle and bustle of this NYC life often leaves me running low on free time and energy while dust and grime accumulation is running on high in my home. I've had four pervious experiences with four different cleaning companies and I can without a doubt say MaidPro is by far my best experience. Kemar arrived on time to my home, he confirmed what I wanted done and went into immediate clean mode without pause. I was marveled at his courtesy and professionalism. I had a basic clean which covered one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Kemar cleaned my kitchen so well that my stove top looked as though it was still on display in the show room. My living room was completely flawless! He cleaned stains off my hardwood floors I thought would never disappear. In addition, my living room floors sparkled and shined without feeling slippery like when I do it myself. He changed the shower curtain and hung the new linens in my bathroom using fancy folded designs. In my bedroom I like how he didn't rearrange anything but just made everything neater in their place so I didn't go crazy looking about for anything later. He also left me a cute towel design on my bed like they do in a hotel or a cruise. The attention to detail and the overall level of care exceeded all expectations. I have tried at least 7 cleaners before, and Maidpro is by far the best. The whole operation is smooth, quick and professional. Immediately after I called for routine visits, they sent out potential dates that I can add to my calendars. Ana is my cleaner, she cleans and organizes everything with great care, as if it's her own home. My place is so much more livable after her visits. I can not be happier with this find. My experience with MaidPro was so abysmal that I wish there was an option for 0 stars. I cannot even believe the phone call that I just had with a rep from the fleetwood location. First off I think it's important to note that this company is an agency that uses contracted cleaning people. I received a call from the sales office which is based in Boston. I spent an hour+ on the phone setting up an account for recurring biweekly cleans. They called me back three times to confirm, took all of my credit card info, and ensured me that a cleaning person would be calling me within 24 hours to schedule a time. Fast forward two weeks- I have not heard from anyone and when I just called the number which I guess is for the Fleetwood office, I was greeted by an argumentative employee who insisted that the company has done nothing wrong and placed all of the blame on the sales headquarter in Boston. I explained that I was not trying to blame her for the miscommunication, however I was very frustrated and I expected that there be an apology. She apologized with so much attitude that I then informed her I would be contacting the sales headquarter to take it up with them. I was also concerned with the fact that they have my credit card information and may start charging me for biweekly cleans that never happened. I then called the sales headquarter in Boston and was greeted with an automated message that said "No one is available; goodbye" and was hung up on. Now I am about to move into my brand new home and have nothing scheduled; I have four days to find a new company. All of this headache, and to top it off MaidPro has all of my credit card and personal information. read more

Our cleaners had to be told that they had left the kitchen floor very sticky. The apartment was empty and we requested a move out clean. We were quoted $205 for 4 hours, way more time than was needed to clean a two bedroom empty apartment. So we asked them to clean the basically clean inside of the refrigerator. Management has said they will charge us for this. The cleaners were not there for more than four hours. Should we have paid $205 for them to sit and do nothing? It is my first time to use the Maidpro because I have moving out clean and I cannot find anyone. So from my friend, I found their webpage and easy to use . The lady on the phone was very patient and helped me schedule the clean on the day I want. They showed up with 4 people including the owner himself. The house is empty. They worked hard for a few hours. It is three floor house. I left them there and just said hi. When I returned in the night, the house is clean and vacuumed , like the way I moved in. I am so surprised. Even my agency came to walk through the house and she said "wow, what a good job of clean! You deserve to get your deposit back!" The price is very reasonable .
