I paid the max price for a move out cleaning (3 people) and got just ok service. I could've done it on my own! Paid for the oven cleaning which wasn't really necessary but nothing was done initially. A glass shelf was broken and the glass was put down my disposal without me knowing. DANGEROUS! The rest of the house definitely could've been cleaned better especially with it being almost empty. I was asked if I wanted the shelf replaced. Seriously? Scheduled a reclean and EMILEIGH MEEKS DID A GREAT JOB! If it weren't for her I'd give one star for the money I spent. $278 Over priced and Not the type of quality. Simply discussed among my family and siblings regarding contracting a maid for a regular twice a month maid service. Well, as stated above is a price that includes the entire stove, sweep/mop, ceiling fan, counters, full deep cleaning bathroom, window blinds and they make your bed. Not exactly as stated! They sent 3 people to-do a 4hour labor, they finished within the hour; surely everything was left dirty and they do not care. Update 3/9/2020: The team came back and did an AMAZING job. I was out of the country for a week and they cleaned right before I got home. It was so nice to walk in to a spotless home and my husband was really impressed with the team. Update 2/18/2020: As requested I contacted the general manager, Julie. She was mortified by my experience and has more than offered to remedy the issue. My initial review was: My husband and I recently moved from San Francisco and when I arrived found the house was clean but there was definitely areas like the bathrooms, refrigerator and stove that needed attention as well as an overall floor cleaning for the tile and the hardwood. I gave the stars for the promptness of getting back to me with the quote and the professionalism of the woman on the phone. As for the actual cleaning, they skipped a bathroom except for the toilet and the floors were just ok. They did great on the oven though. I had a team of two women. One was very nice and helpful as well as professional. The other woman was borderline rude at times and yelled at me that I was making a mess when I walked in from the garage in my shoes. I had run out to do a quick errand and when I came back they were both just standing outside waiting for the floor to dry. I fired maid pro after Cynthia, tried to get into my house on Thanksgiving day! Julie the manager, said they are not responsible since it was not a normal Workday! They are closed on Thanksgiving. So after stating they would send the same cleaner and not doing so, my doorbell was ripped off that day, and I have phone records showing that Cynthia called a neighbor of mine to get in my house. When I spoke to Julie she seemed sympathetic however she told the recleaners I was "tricky" and would try to get them to do more... the owner Candace Westlake doesn't talk to anyone according to Julie....funny cuz they live together!!!So if you are willing to take a security risk, be prepared...they shouldn't even get one star...and I will repost monthly! read more

I recently moved to Tampa from NYC and wanted a maid service to come and clean out the house one more time before my furniture arrived. I called and was greeted by a friendly customer service rep on the phone who was able to set me up with same day service (win)! It was a bit pricey but I was more than willing to pay for good service and a clean home before my items arrived. However, I was sorely disappointed when the cleaning crew arrived late and I felt as though I needed to watch them to ensure the work was being done. They sent me a 3 person crew stating that it would take two hours. My home was completely empty and had been cleaned previously so this was just a secondary cleaning. I paid extra to have my fridge and stove cleaned, which upon inspection did not happen. I had to remind them and ask them to clean it. They did not wipe the insides of the cabinets and at times seemed to be just wandering from room to room downstairs. It seemed as if to kill time. At the end, even though they arrived late, they still finished early and when asked for the refund for the additional time, the worker called her boss who said "can't you just clean for longer" assuming I couldn't hear. Eventually, she told the worker the amount to refund me. Only to find out a day later that they still charged me the wrong amount. I called to have it fixed and was initially met with unwillingness to fix it, eventually they issued me the refund. For what I spent I expected more. The cleaning was decent but nothing to write home about. Update: they did call me after seeing my review and offer to come back out and re-clean. This time the cleaning crew was very attentive and made sure to be very detail oriented! They also gave me a follow up call afterwards to make sure things went well. read more

The sales person and general manager had terrible customer service And very deceptive in the pricing. They underquote And then get the cleaners in here and need more time to complete the 49-point checklist which maybe only half can get done in the time they quoted. They quote 6 hours but send 3 people in for 2 hours and then charge almost $100 for every 30 minutes more they need. After going from $402 to $495 they called Again and needed more time and of course they leave the main living area flooring for last which is what was very important. I refused to pay the additional which would of put it to almost $600. The cleaners ended up somewhat mopping the floors but they were not that great since they had to rush. Appliances were not polished but just wiped down and left watermarks. the garage entrance counters were still dusty. This was not a deep clean as promises. The baseboards, the blinds, and the cupboards that they were able to get to were cleaned really well. They really do put the cleaners in a bad situation With the pricing scheme. I totally regret using this company and felt like I was ripped off. I work hard for my money and was so upset with the quality of work and customer service I got from this company. I just came home with a new born and wanted a deep cleaning but instead ended up with high blood pressure from having to argue my point to the general manager. read more

Relatively happy with service so far, my first cleaning was at the end of day on a Saturday and I felt that it was rushed and they were ready to be through with their work day which I understand. However maybe as a new customer I shouldn't have been scheduled for that time slot. They had a new person in training with them and let's just say I had to spot clean (mirrors, floors, no trash can liners) immediately after they left. The second cleaning with Erica Cole, Brandi, and Albert I felt was very thorough and the house "felt" cleaner. I want to stress my story; my mother will be staying with me for an extended time coming up and I wanted to make sure that the room is clean and ready to go. I called the maid pro service and schedule an appoint for a move-in/deep clean for her room and the rest of the house. On the day they were supposed to arrive at 11 and they were 90 minutes late. The 2 cleaners were very nice and courteous and they spent a good amount time cleaning the room, kitchen and living room. After the time I took a quick look and felt satisfied enough. The next my mother stop by (going to see her grandchildren before staying with me) and she was very upset that the room was not up to standard that it should have been. Dust on the ceiling fan, corners not cleaned from the bathroom, shutters forgotten. Anyway, she called them up and demanded that the house be re-done, then leaving for my brother house, coming back in 4 days. Soon2 new cleaning maids came and took a look around. These two cleaners were from the "quality control". They took one look and agree the the initial job was poor and not up to standards. Both of them took great focus to make it right and spent the next 3-4 hours professional cleaning my house to get it ready. I left for work while they were still working and came home to a spotless, flawless home. Very apologetic and very nice. I want to give major kudos to the 2nd team who understands what was needed to be done. I do recommend MaidPro but make sure that needs must be met. I requested maidpro for moving clean, the house was already clean but needed some final detailing. The carpet had already been professionally cleaned by the owner. We were given a quote and were told the clean will include cleaning inside the cabinets within reach and cleaning the sliding door tracks in addition to the bathrooms and floor. Here's what happened: 1. The service agreement they sent was $50 higher than the quote, no one noted to me, I did not pay attention and signed it -which is my fault-, when I asked the manager about it she denied the price change, but after I sent her the original quote email she changed the story and said they increased the price one week after my quote 2. We were not present for the cleaning, when we came home we realized that "wiping the cabinets" does not mean wiping them clean, it just means passing a dry rug inside the cabinet and moving on. We had to redo most of the cabinets because they were grossly contaminated, this included dust, residual food in the kitchen and hair in the bathroom cabinets. There were stains in the toilet, the sliding doors were not cleaned as promised. The only thing they did is partially vacuum the carpet-that was already clean- and mop the floor 3. I called to report. I received a call two days later -my call was on a Saturday- from the manager who wasn't thrilled to hear my points and sent three people who pretty much did the same thing they have done before; pretend to wipe the cabinets. They did clean the sliding door this time and took some selfies in our house. Nobody bothered to call and check if the cleaning experience was better this time Bottom line, if you are looking for mediocre service and have pretty low expectations, this is the place for you. Make sure you read the service agreement before you sign, because they might decide to hike the price without mentioning that to you. read more

I don't understand why the reviews are so bad. We had the complete opposite experience. I'm the personal assistant to an extremely picky businesswoman who unfortunately moved to Tampa to be treated at the local cancer center. She went through three maids before MaidPro and was extremely unhappy with the mediocre service. I called MaidPro, who assured me that they have experience with the level of extreme sanitation that a cancer patient with absolutely no immune system needs. The manager, Julie, was a doll. She made sure the girls were always on time, never sent girls if they had even a sniffle and when doctors appts changed, she was so understanding and accommodated our last minute time changes without hesitation. Samantha, Tyquetta, Ann, Brittni, Jennifer, Donna, Sarah, Amanda, Nate, and Letisha all cleaned the house various times and amazingly, each time the quality of the cleaning never varied. They were all swift, thorough and didnt leave until the place was immaculate. My boss is now able to come back home to Miami but we are so grateful that MaidPro gave us one less thing to worry about during this very stressful time. read more

HORRIBLE DO NOT USE!!!! i decided to try a more exoensive organization in the hopes that the quality of the cleaning would be first rate and christmas was looming, after having fallen ill for a few months, living with 2 men, my home was a mess but not terribly - except for deep cleaning, i hired these people with high hopes. 3 maids showed up and i didn't even have then clean my entire first floor because i excluded the bedroom downstairs.. so, we are talking about approx 700 sqiare feet. not only did they take their sweet time (3 maids spent 2 hours) - they did a mediocre job at best. my floor was left dirty & had obviously jusy quickly & barely passed a wet mop across it leaving dirty. they also lost or threw away the operaytional piece of my electric chopper rendering it useless & costing me $75 to replace. in fairness they do offer a 24 hour guarantee - so if i had called they'd have tried to send somevody out to rectify the matter. however, it was the day before christmas for me - we had a celebration at our home the next day (the day before xmas eve). having been sick, no prsents had even been wrapped so the word "busy" was an understatement. since i was so busy the next day wrapping i just said the heck with it. then, preparing the meal for saturday night - i remebered one of the few items left in the kitchen sink was the lid to my electric chopper & the key operational component to the appliance - gone - as was my 24n hour window guarantee. and i've spent hours looking for iit at this point, well, my guests ate late having to chop everything by hand & i couldn't prepare one of the dishes i wanted to because it called for ground ingredients which i was unable to do. after the xmas rush i received a call to confirm the next week's appointment - which of couse i canceled, here's where it gets really bad - as if my experience wasn't bad enough, the caller asked me why i was canceling and i told her, then she places me on hold & the manager gets on the line & basically scolds and finally yells at me - yeah that's helpful. she asked me why i didn't call within the 24 hours & i explained the situation above, then, she rudely tells me they are now going to charge me an additional $60 because i elected to cancel, of course i wasn;t happy about it & let her know i'd spread the word. that's when she actually yelled at me & i had been completely calm. as if i was ruining some spectacular reputation which, based on the reviews here is far from true. conclusion::: over the phone a pretty picture is drawb but live & in person - low quality sevice for the highest prices in the industry. my advice - you're better off with a bargained price independent. do not use this place. i've used at least 3 other services way cheaper & they did a muchg better cleaning job!!! ans thus 24 hour service guarantee they are so proud of..........it wouldn't have helped my electric chopper situation discovered over 24 hours later. not to mention, just about every cleaniing service will come back out if you call them back right away - so it;s nothing to really brag about!! it is a rip off so find someone else!! i plan to warn as many peiople as possible and the manager - she should be fired!!! read more

The person who showed up to clean our house arrived on time and was very nice and professional. I have two main complaints: 1) pricing and 2) quality of work. (1) The pricing schedule is complicated to understand and much higher than we have paid for other insured cleaners in the area. (2) The cleaner took a very long time and the house was not clean as expected. We have 2 bathrooms. One shower does not appear to have been cleaned. The other bathtub was scrubbed very well, but none of the shelves in the shower were even wiped down. I think the kitchen sink was cleaned, but the mop bucket was placed in it afterward, so the sink was dirty when the cleaner left. Large areas of flooring were not vacuumed. Those are the major items, but all-in-all I was very disappointed given the steep pricing and time it took. read more

To being with, I called Maid Pro and got a very enthusiastic and professional lady on the phone who questioned me so she could generate an estimated quote to clean my house. She gave me the figure, and it seemed in line with the other companies that i had used in the past. Anyway , the cleaning ladies arrived on time (actually 5 minutes early) and did what they call the classic clean which has like a 49 point check list. The office lady had estimated 3 hours to clean my house and the team of 2 girls completed this clean in just under the estimated 3 hours. And they did a fantastic job. Was in last minute dire need of move-in cleaning for our house - sooo dire and sooo last minute - I paid waaay more than I normally would for a move-in cleaning (hence 4:5 stars) but it was THAT BAD of a need and I'm SUPER grateful that they had cleaners available to come at such short notice so I'm NOT complaining!!! Sarah, Katrina, and Docey worked up quite a sweat trying to erase the prior tenants built-up filth. The house still needs another go-over PLUS walls, grout cleaning, etc but the girls made a serious dent and I was finally able to walk around the house, sit down, and sleep comfortably last night without cringing about the lack of cleanliness surrounding me. This house has GREAT potential - just needs to be power-washed inside and out with bleach a couple times and then I'll be willing to invite friends over to enjoy. I was told 2 women would show up for 3.5 hours between 8am and 1pm. They were very late. 11am and it was a crew of 4. As a new client and active duty Army we were given a choice of free oven or refrigerator cleaning. Which neither were very dirty. I chose the oven and they didn't have oven cleaner but luckily I did. One woman cleaned the kitchen. The bonus was the oven and she stuck to that for a long time. The three women upstairs....I have no clue what they did. My mater tub was clean but everything else was a joke. tooth paste on the mirror. urine all around my boys toilet. Just shitty work. I call to complain and before I even knew what was happening the cleaning team left early. Leaving half the upstairs undone. steps. & the entire downstairs. I have just spent the last two days going over the very small section they "cleaned" Awful experience. immediately on the phone to my bank for fraud. they didn't even stay for the 7 hr. duration. they will not be paid. they ran out like thieves in the night. read more
