I had to change my rating. Although our home looked and felt cleaned, and the cleaner did an amazing job and the company was able to accommodate my urgent need. I had a personal problem come up. I had a small photo frame (held sentimental value) but it was gone. It contained a picture of me and my sister. My son and I have knocked it off the wall a few times over the years that I have had it (since 2008) - I mentioned it to the supervisor and the cleaner told her that she put it on the counter. I did find my picture of me and my sister on the counter but the frame was still missing. The supervisor told me that she would "get to the bottom of it " and asked her again. The cleaner then CHANGED her story and said "I saw the picture in the living room on the wall." My picture was NOT in the living room. It was on a "hallway wall" next to my kitchen and bedroom. I am not mad if it got knocked off the wall or if it broke. But PLEASE TELL ME and leave the picture frame with the picture so that I can try to fix it, or at least make the decision to throw it away if I can't fix it. The supervisor said "I have already asked her twice about it" and "What can we do to resolve this?" Hmmmm.... I don't know that it can be resolved as I am sure that the cleaner who does a great job cleaning, probably knocked it off the wall and panicked and threw the frame away. I am usually home when I have ever had anyone come into my home, but this was an urgent matter at hand and they were able to come out on short notice, but unfortunately I had to be at work that day. She could have written me a little note next to the picture and frame, or called her supervisor to let her know. Again, they accommodated my short notice (home inspection) and did a great job. I have Fibromyalgia and unable to clean the way I would like too. Again, the cleaner did a great job cleaning. Very impressed. Again, not mad if the frame fell off and broke. Upset that the frame was not left for me, and hearing the cleaner change her story. I watch enough police shows to know that if you change your story, it is likely that you are not being truthful. BEWARE!!!!! I do not recommend this company at all. I recently hired them for a move-in cleaning service for my new house and the service provided not only was incredibly subpar, it was also incredibly overpriced. For a "move in ready" clean; my house was dusted and dry mopped. That is literally it. Many things I was told in the consultation were not completer, the kitchen was barely touched, they don't "scrub" the bathroom, only wipe things down - which defeats the purpose of a move in ready home. Worst of all - they claimed they stood by their service and not only have their failed to return my calls and e-mails, they've just flat out ignored my concerns. This is not a commentary on the cleaners, who themselves were lovely - but they were bound by the company in terms of service they could provide and were even told by their supervisor to not complete certain tasks when they followed up. They even said the move in service is over priced and not worth it. So - don't waste your time or your money here. This is a not a service I'd recommend to anyone. If they'd honor their guarantee, which is clearly a scam, I might change my mind but at this point I'd say I implore all others to go elsewhere. read more

I implore anyone who is thinking about using this company, or who has even used them in the past, to look elsewhere. Even if you've had a good experience, I'm here to inform you of how they handle themselves as a company when things go wrong. There are other experiences like mine that I have come across as well. You can tell a lot about a business by how they handle themselves when presented with an unhappy customer. I hired them for a move out clean for quite a high price, $440. When I walked the property afterwards, the whole kitchen wasn't even touched. The sink was not cleaned, or even wiped down. One of the fans was not cleaned. The windows were not cleaned and the manager, Jolene, informed me they don't clean windows (on a move out clean clean?...for $440?!) Inside the cabinets were still crumby, not even wiped or vacuumed. The refrigerator wasn't touched. Obviously these are all major things that weren't cleaned. Nothing was said to me during the clean or after. The cleaner, Lindsey, told me she was done and at her other job. When I spoke with the manager she told me she would send over someone to fix what was looked over. I initially agreed, but then found someone else to come finish cleaning as I didn't trust the Maidpro staff to complete the job, because who really would? In their eyes my home was clean when they left. I informed Jolene to not send her team out and I told her I just wanted a refund. Not only did she refuse, she became very defensive and attacked me and the state of my home. I am so shocked at how this was handled. She stood by her employees and said they deserved to be paid because they were there cleaning for 3 hours. But what do they have to show for it? I wasn't present during the clean but all I could tell was the floors were vacuumed and toilets scrubbed. I already know this review will be met with an attack on me and/or my home. She stated my home was filthy and in rough shape already and that's why they couldn't complete the job. But wouldn't you think they would have told me? Sent me pictures of how "dirty" my house was during the clean? I've seen her responses to other customers with similar experiences to mine and the responses are rude and demeaning. Please take your money and spend it elsewhere. I'm sure there are so many great cleaning companies out there who not only clean well, but know how to work with a customer when things are not up to their standards. Have some pride in your work and take accountability when your employees don't do their job. What is going to change if upper management attacks a customer when their employees are in the wrong? The employees will keep testing what they can get away with, because they know Jolene will undercut and lie about a clients character and/or state of their home. I wrote a review on their Facebook page and Maidpro "laughed" at my review. Is this humorous? This is just a horrible business through and through. I don't care if people have had amazing cleans from them, this kind of response shows how the company is really run. The attached pictures are what my home looked like after they left. read more

MAIDPRO responded to my need to have my home cleaned. the quality of the cleaning was 'excellent' as provided by Bonnie, a Pro with this organization. This was the most unbelievably terrible experience I have ever had with a vendor. I called Jolene to help resolve a Cleaning issue and she called code enforcement on the subject property when I canceled and used someone else. I canceled because I didn't like she texted me to leave bleach for the maids to use. I was like why don't they have bleach? I am a landlord and went to one of my tenants last week to repair the air conditioner. To my dismay the elderly man living there was not keeping the bathrooms or kitchen clean. One restroom was very bad I have to admit. The home was not real bad just these three areas especially the one bathroom he always used. I found Maidpros online and talked to Jolene Viano and sent here pictures and discussed the situation. She scheduled time to clean the following Saturday. Later I received a text asking if I could have bleach onsite for them to use. I was kind of taken back like y'all don't carry bleach? I texted her back and said I wanted to cancel because I was concerned that if they didn't carry bleach I questioned if they would have all the materials to do the job correctly. Seemed like a basic cleaning supply. She replied back saying it was an OSHA violation for them to carry bleach and they used green products anyway. I replied that Green sounds great but only works so-so. I found someone else to do the next day and was shocked to have the code enforcement Sheriff at the tenant's home the next day. She Literally called Code enforcement because I canceled her job and called someone else. Code enforcement was okay with my plan to resolve the issue. This woman Jolene is spiteful and vindictive. Stay away. read more

I was really disappointed with the service I received. My father passed away unexpectedly, and I needed to have his home cleaned for the process of selling the house. The home was pretty much empty and not that "dirty". When I was finally able to get to the house about a week later because I live 2hrs away from my father's house, I was in shock that simple things were completely forgotten/missed. After taking a closer look, I noticed that the windows, window Cills and blinds were not even touched. When I called to report the issue, Kathryn was quick to send someone over to fix the issues with the windows while I was going to be at the house. The person who came out was kind and apologetic. She cleaned what she could reach on the windows because they are tall windows and cleaned under the master sink. I left her to work as I had another company at the house doing some work. She left, thinking all was well. So did I... I thought that those were the only issues until I really looked harder at the house. The doorways into the master bedroom had visible dust, so did the nightstands and wooden furniture in the master bedroom. The master bedroom closet was not even touched. The floors in the closet were unmopped and nothing was wiped down. Same with the windows upstairs, unwiped and uncleaned. The inside of the doors had marks and scuffs. They were not even wiped down. So the floors and the already clean appliances were the cleanest things in the house after paying $480 for a cleaning!?!? I was assured that all these things would be done and they certainly were not. I feel so taken advantage of during a really difficult time. I will never recommend this company to anyone! read more

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL / CROOKS We will never use them again. They were our regular cleaning providers. We asked them for a "moving out quote", we did not respond (found a better price), they showed up on the first suggested day (in the quote) and cleaned the apartment anyways. We never gave them confirmation, they tricked our leasing office, got in, cleaned without consent and sent us the bill. They will not respond to our dispute/inquiry and they sent us to collections right away. They didn't even clean the place well enough... We got a fine from the apartment complex. Extremely unethical. Do not use them or trust them in your home!!!! read more

What a disappointment... paid over $300 to clean an empty fairly cleaned newer house. Yet I spent hours going behind cleaning fans, disgusting lights, filthy air conditioning vents. I am not really sure what I paid for?!?!?! At this point I cannot tell what they really cleaned as the previous tenants did leave the place fairly clean. read more

Never again! The cleaning was unsatisfactory in the form of dusty blinds, dusty banisters, un-vacuumed carpet & soap scrub on bathroom tiles. I notified customer service that the job was incomplete & was advised that the maid was unable to vacuum because her equipment was broken & that the last of dusting was because she was getting anxiety & had to pick up a child from school. Excuse after excuse, none of which were satisfactory or appropriate customer service answers. I was told the maid would return the next day to finish the job, only to be informed the following day she called out & will not be returning. Between the horrible customer service & lack of tangible cleaning evidence, I cut my losses & will hold onto my $300 & clean myself. Two thumbs down. read more

I have been using Maidpro to clean my home(s) for at least the past six years. What a wonderful relief their service has given me! I love for my home to be clean and tidy, but I was finding that my limited amount of free time was keeping me from being able to do ANYTHING other than clean floors, scrub bathrooms, and do laundry. I found myself pretty depressed. Maidpro really did change my life! The ladies who cleaned my homes (three different houses) have been precious -- hard-working, sweet, and friendly. The most recent one, Marlene, is dynamite...and so personally lovable! They deserve medals! Kathryn, the owner of the franchise, is a love and has always accommodated my every need. I am about to make a move out of state, so I will have to try my hardest to find another cleaning service as good as Maidpro. I hope there is one out there! read more

I wish I could put negative stars, but I cant. I am a Realtor for ReMax and run the property management dept. I have several maid services I use, however my phone, when needing a maid, always defers to this company and I keep thinking it will get better , if I give them 1 more chance. It does not get better, in fact this time took the cake. They do a good job cleaning, but they way they bill the customer, leaves alot to be desired. I have used them for the last time. My properties are almost always empty. My recent job, was after my move out tenant called Molly Maid, who by the way, you should never call, so the property was 50% cleaned already. Maid Pro quoted 5 hours. They proceeded to arrive on schedule, and somewhere along the line, called a 2nd person out. So to clear, the quote is for 1 person, if 2 people come out, even though the entire job should be no more then the 5 hours quoted, it is per person. On top of that, I arrived at the 4th hour and the work was completed. I thought great, they did it in 4 hours instead of 5. Big mistake on me and my math skills. Not only was I charged 4.5 hours for the person who was done in 4 hours, I was charged 2.75 hours for the 2nd person for a total of 7.25 hours !!! I was told by the billing person, how lucky I was they did not charge $25 more to clean the oven, Really? So as the others have posted, save your money, call someone else. They do a good job cleaning, but the price you will pay is not what is quoted..ever and it is not worth the price or the aggravation. This is my professional opinion as a certified property manager and licensed Realtor. read more

We are so pleased with MaidPro service. Our pro Lisa Calabro did a fantastic cleaning job on our home. We are very fussy with our bathrooms and wood floors throughout the whole house. When she leaves, the house shines. Just recently we had a bathroom fan that had an inch of dust on the blades. She went on a step ladder to reach to wash the coated dust off all the blades. I got MaidPro Orlando East to do a one time cleaning. They charge top dollar so I was expecting a high level of service. In fact, the quality of cleaning service provided was dismally poor and my wife and I are extremely disappointed. The two maids came at different times, which was odd to begin with. The first maid did some cleaning in the bathroom but missed multiple items listed in the MaidPro 49 point checklist. Things on the checklist she visibly did NOT do included: * Tub and shower tiles scrubbed, disinfected and rinsed * Toilets disinfected insides and out * Towels neatly hung and folded * Sinks scrubbed and disinfected I don't know what she was doing all the time she was present but it wasn't three hours of cleaning. She didn't vacuum or clean furniture in the bedrooms she was working in either. The second maid, when she finally arrived, seemed more efficient and did a good job of cleaning the kitchen and living area. My wife, having checked the upstairs level the first maid was working in, drew the second maid's attention to all the things that had been missed. (First maid had left by this time). The second maid said she was shocked at the poor quality of work and cleaned a utility room upstairs the first maid had completely missed. As a result, the second maid didn't have time to do anything on our lowest level, including a bathroom we needed cleaned. Before she left, the second maid apologized for the poor standard of service. She said she would tell the office manager right away and the manager would call me first thing Monday to arrange for a maid to return and finish the job. Because MaidPro offers a Re-Cleaning Guarantee, I assumed this would be routine. How wrong I was. The manager, Jolene Viano, did not in fact call so I called her. I explained that I was dissatisfied with aspects of the cleaning and I would like some areas properly cleaned. She was defensive and hostile from the outset. First, she stated that my wife was very happy with the service and given the maid a big tip. Neither of these things is true - she just flat out lied to me. Then she tried to deflect from the issue by saying repeatedly that the grout in the shower was in poor condition (I never said anything about grout). She repeatedly refused to honor the recleaning guarantee, so I am left out of pocket with a half cleaned house. I understand things sometimes go wrong with services but I am still in disbelief at how bad an experience this was and the manager's complete lack of interest in redressing the issues. How this company gets good reviews is a mystery ("family and friends"?). I would have done better with any random cleaning service off the internet. Strongly advise avoiding MaidPro Orlando East. read more

I had Maid Pro clean after I had tile removed in my kitchen. The kitchen was an absolute disaster and the rest of the house wasn't as bad as the kitchen where the work was done, but still the tile dust had gotten in every room of the house. Maid Pro sent 2 cleaners out for 4 hours and they did a really good job. My husband and I did do some of the work in the other rooms (because 4 hours for 2 cleaners wasn't enough to do everything), the kitchen was 100% better! I just couldn't face doing all of this myself. I would use them again and they charged me the same amount as quoted. I trust them and would hire them again. read more

Couldn't say enough good things about this great group of peeps! Rock on MP Orlando East. :)

I was referred to Maid Pro by a friend. When I spoke to the woman on the phone she was nice enough and she quoted me a price that I thought was rather high but I was open to see how good it would be. The cleaning was good, the service providers were nice but I in no way thought it was worth almost $200 dollars. When they called me the next day to ask how my service was and if I was happy I asked why the price was so high and I was told basically "that's just how it is". It was interesting to me that when I talked to my friend about her pricing there was about a hundred dollar or more difference! Hmmmmm.....something was just not adding up so beware! read more

The ladies on staff are completely amazing! Used them a few months ago when we had one of our roommates moving out of the house we were renting and he left his room an absolute mess. They came out (they had to come out twice due to how bad the mess was) and were able to clean his room and get the kitchen spotless. They got the floors clean from the left over food stains from the guy and even got the bad odor out of the room he left. On time for both appointments and I had no complaints. My only problem was it was a bit difficult to get a hold of the office to schedule the dates for them to come out, but other than that I would definitely recommend. read more

Avg. cleaning service at best and Horrible Customer Service and Accountability. I used their service for about a year and a half. The cleaning person sent to my home kept changing every few months and the very few good cleaners they ever sent never lasted more than a month or two. At the end of every service I would receive a call or an email asking how the cleaning went. Given that I am a very clean person, their avg. service never affected me that much, as long as they covered the bathroom I was ok maintaining the rest for the price they were giving me. Everything was ok until one of the cleaners broke my bedroom window blinds. These people were never able to repair the broken window despite my patience of waiting for them almost 6 months! First they never felt responsible enough to send someone to look at the broken window and take the measurements for the replacement. I had to give them myself the measurements. In 1 month they did not do anything nor call. Their excuse during this first month was that they were not able to find a person "tall enough" to put he new blinds up. 2 months later, they were not able to get someone yet to install or deliver it, and because my landlord had to do an inspection on the property, I had to go pick them up by myself to try to install them on my own. However, much to my dismay, the blinds purchased by these people were the cheapest kind and could not be installed. These cheap blinds were made of vinyl and unable to hold their own weight (required bolts through the middle of the widow as opposed to using the existing supports). Luckily, my landlord did not get me in trouble for the inspection after I explained to them the situation and showed them that I had the blinds for replacement. After the inspection, I explained the next cleaner from MaidPro who cleaned my apartment and gave her the blinds so she could take to their office and get them changed for the right ones. I called MaidPro to explain what I had done with the blinds and talked to a lady called Gwendolyn Blake. This lady said that I had to talk to the business owner and transferred me. The business owner, Kathryn Boyce, said that she was running out of options and asked me to buy myself the blinds that are appropriate for my window and she would repay me for them. After visiting a couple of Home Depots/Lowe's stores, I was not able to find the right kind of blind which fit my window supports. I called the business owner again to tell her she had to send someone to look at his window and get things fixed. It had passed by too much time. To my further surprise, these lady refused to find someone to replace these blinds or do any work because the time for her to return the vinyl blind she had bought had expired. She further added that it was my fault because I never explained to her the type of blind needed. She completely washed her hands on the situation and said that I was being "Unfair" with her and that I had to have some responsibility on this too. She said was that she would give me their Liability Insurance information so I can file a claim, but they would not do anything for me. This lady yelled throughout this whole conversation and did not want to let me speak. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY to hire this cheap, irresponsible, dishonest business. BEWARE of these people!!!! Ohh and by the way, they leave coupons in your house after each clean-up saying they will give you $20 if you give them a review in Facebook! (I imagine I will never get my $20 for my review) They bill you immediately after each visit but cannot replace a $150 blind?!!! What kind of business is not able to spend $100-200 o repairing something they damaged?!? or better yet be accountable to a client who patiently waited for them to fix they damage and to whom they had promised to make the repairs?? read more

This Kathryn Boyce lady actually has the nerve to contact me saying that she thought that we left things on a good note & actually asked me to remove this review! ARE TOU DELUSIONAL, LADY? OBVIOUSLY WE DID NOT LEAVE ON A GOOD NOTE...YOU STOLE OUR MONEY FROM US!! We did not deserve to have to pay for something that we did not get on several occasions. All I asked for was a refund for the last cleaning that you did not do, but said you did, yet you weren't willing to even try to make your customer happy by doing so. So, as a result, I decided to share with everyone else exactly how you do business. The Internet can be your best friend but it can also be your worst enemy. You should've thought about that before you handled your business as distastefully as you chose to. No, I will not remove my review!!!! The review was honest & I refuse to be bullied by your despicable company, so do not contact me again for any reason whatsoever, other than refunding our money for our last non-service! read more

I had never hired a maid service before, but I decided to hire someone to come by every two weeks while I was living in the Lake Nona area. I had them come every two weeks, and they did a great job of keeping the place clean and tidy, especially the bathrooms, which I hate doing myself. The owner of the company, Kathryn was very rude and unprofessional, rather than being sorry for her poor service she had an horrible attitude, inspite of the fact that they were paid way more than they deserve. I have used MaidPro for over 10 years to take care of our home in Apopka. During that entire time we were delighted with their service. The teams sent to clean our home had very low turnover with the assigned individuals remaining constant for large portions of time. The team members got to know our home and ourselves well and were always very trustworthy, friendly, competent, and professional. Even our little dog looked forward to greeting them on cleaning days. We stayed with MaidPro the entire time and never once thought about leaving them for anyone else. It was like having a good friend help take care of our home. We recently sold our home and moved to Texas. Based on our experience with MaidPro in Apopka, we are now using a local MaidPro franchise in Texas to clean our new home there. We are just as happy with our Texas experience with MaidPro as we were with our Apopka MaidPro experience. We send our thanks and appreciation to Catherine, an owner of the Apopka MaidPro franchise, for all her wonderful and caring service over the years. If you are looking for a great cleaning service in the north Orlando area, we highly recommend giving Catherine a call. You will not regret it!!! MaidPro is HORRIBLE! We had a first time cleaning done on a completely empty home. House was in a good condition to begin with so this should've been an easy job. The two maids were extremely slow and did not complete what was agreed upon during interview. When I complained to Kathryn I did not get a SINGLE apology just how she felt disappointed with the maids. The same maids were sent out and still did not leave my house feeling spotless. Easy job, clean the house to the standard that you build your company behind. Checklist? Yeah right. To make everything worse, Kathryn Boyce sent out harassing emails and left harassing voicemails about getting paid for their poor work. We accidentally paid the wrong amount and they accused us of purposely shorting them the money. I used MaidPro every other week for over a year. I had absolutely no complaints during the service. Everything was cleaned just as it should be, and if I left specific instructions they were followed to the letter. The staff at MaidPro is fantastic. What was such a disappointment to me was the service I experienced from their customer service department. After being a loyal, customer for over a year I wanted to change the date of my service (it was a week before the service was scheduled) and change from a regular cleaning to a deep cleaning as I was moving out of my apartment. I believed I was well within the time limit to request a change, but was told by the customer service representative on the phone that it was impossible. I explained I was willing to pay a fee for the inconvenience, but she was unwilling to help. It was very disheartening to know that after my loyalty to their company, they would be so inflexible. I will not use another MaidPro service again, even under different management, because I would prefer to take my business to a company that can guarantee its independent operators care about their customers. read more

Good maids, horrible customer service. I had them for just cleaning my floors. $81 a month. The maids did a good job. But just yesterday a maid had called me to say she couldn't find my house. I said I didn't even know you were coming today (have a lot going on family wise. haven't had the chance to check my email, so I completely forgot) she said this was the second customer today that told her that. I said well can we schedule for next week? She said fine. I asked if they were still going to charge me a fee even though I didn't know they were coming. She said no. Not a second later I get a phone call from the office. The girl said that they have to charge me a "small fee" for not cancelling 24 hours in advance. I told her I didn't know they were coming as I had not checked my email (not the first thing on my mind these days) so please don't charge me, we do not have that much money in our bank. She said she would have someone call me back. No one called me back. So this morning I wake up and look in my bank it was -$90!! They charged me $81!! So I called them this morning to cancel my services and she said we'll have Kathryn call me back. Well an hour goes by and have not heard anything. So I call back again and finally get Kathryn Boyce. I tried to explain my situation to her. She really didn't care. She had an answer for everything, No empathy for the customers from her! So now our bank is screwed because of them.
