I opened my phone to show the stylist the references I found, but she only looked at one before saying she didn't need any more photos. I'm quite visually impaired, so I wasn't able to see how she was cutting it until I put my glasses back on, only to see that there were no visible layers in the back and that I had a side part. I was never asked if I wore my hair in a side part. The only reference I showed her had a middle part and visible layering. I understand that not every haircut will look exactly like a reference photo, but I was disappointed because the finished haircut was noticeably different from what I had asked for.
