My trip to the Summit started at 8:30pm so it was a bit late. Nevertheless, the staff was very welcoming. I went in to have a bite to eat, a beer or two and to watch the NBA Playoffs. I was impressed by the beer selection and the overall vibe. Lots of bowling going on and quite a few people inside, but it didn't feel crowded. Laura was the bartender and she was great. Pretty good "pub/American" style food for a place that caters to families and children. The restaurant/ sports bar is very large and has many tvs. The area is very loud as many people pack in to eat before gaming, laser tag, and bowling. Service was much better than expected. Ooooooof, I really wanted to love this place, but my goodness was it horrible. We arrived and stared bowling, after 30 minutes had passed I tracked down 4 servers and asked if I can order something (the servers come to you when you're bowling, apparently). All of them said they would send someone over to take our order and never did. They all had an attitude too, as if they hated their job. I actually approached one server as she passed and said "excuse me" to get her attention. She actually looked right at me and then looked forward, before continuing to walk past me. Long story short we had to leave the bowling section and order stuff because no one ever came. When someone finally did come over they weren't very polite. Listen, I worked as a server for 4 years, our group was polite and we were really trying to be understanding but it was hard. The only redeeming quality was they did provide comp coupon card but unfortunately I don't think we'll ever go back, especially for the price they charge for the rude service. I won some passes a couple months ago. We finally went here a few days ago to play in the arcade. Really enjoyed the air hockey and skee-ball. Lots of fun games to play and the prizes in the shop were better than you get at most arcades. It was overall a fun experience. Definitely would consider going back. read more

My favorite bowling place! They have a great arcade with cool prizes. The leagues there are so much fun!!! They have a large variety of types of leagues. We do the adult/Youth league as well as the youth scholarship league. My son tells me he wants to keep doing leagues as long as he can. He loves it. They helped him be more social and his score went from an average of of 80-90 to an average of 150-160 in the two plus years of doing it, from aprox 12 to 14 years old. The league manager is amazing and willing to give you tips during the league. She's so nice, fun and energetic! All the kids adore her. The food is delicious. My sons favorite is the cheese curds. My favorite is the loaded fries. They take good care of their lanes, so makes bowling more enjoyable to play getting better scores. read more

In not sure what the complaints on here are for but I like this place. I've been here on a few occasions and have rented the Eagles' Nest for company functions. Here we had 8 private lanes of bowling, a bar, pool tables, as well as good food. The service has been top notch and the facility is clean and well maintained. While the prices here may be higher than most, this is a quality establishment and you pay for that anywhere. We liked the potato skins, wings, and sliders. There is also pizza, steak, and other items on the menu. The bowling lanes themselves are are awesome and well maintained. Even their bowling shoes and balls are nice. Laser tag- you play in teams or in solo mode. The teams function is best for larger groups. Our company played 10 against 10 and it was a blast! The arcade is nice and has lots of fun games. Overall the atmosphere is great and the service and food are good. Give them a chance if you are looking for a place to book a company function, birthday, or family outing. read more

Came here to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday with 4 of her friends, while she bowled my husband and I sat near the bar at one of their "service tables" it took asking a waitress and a manager (twice, @11:06p) even get served a drink!! Moonlight bowling is from 11p-1a ... after not being served for more than an hour we finally came back after our 1st drink ti order ... then we're told they stopped serving at midnight. Yet, she never came to see if we wanted last call or any other food (12:13am) when the menu says 10p-1a. My daughter wasn't even able to order funnel frys for her birthday celebration. When you first walk into the Tavern & Grill, you feel like you are in your college cafeteria. Pine wood, blue-ish booths, & very bright lights for a Friday night! We decided to sit outside since it was so nice out & right next to the fire pit. Great choice! Hopefully the fire pit is open year round because I could seriously drink libation after libation staring into the fire. The food was pretty good. We both got BYOBurgers with fries. Reasonably priced for the size of the burger & amount of fries! Service does need improvement. While ordering, our waiter did not know what the signature Crossroads sauce was for the burgers. By the time our food got there, we did not have silverware, napkins, ketchup, salt & pepper, etc. so we had to find him at the bar to get everything we needed. Training pains! We'll head back in a few months. We walked around The Summit after sipping some beers at the armchairs surrounding the fire pit. I think our favorite spot will be the 21+ lounge complete with ambient lighting, 4 bowling lanes, pool tables, plenty of XXL tv screens, full bar & lots of lounge chairs. Very cool! read more

This place is the best! I've had my daughters birthday party there, was in a Saturday bowling league and now just hosted an event for my business... The service, food, and environment are always great! For the work meeting we had Bethel as our server. She did it an absolutely fantastic job! My first time here and my buddy up sold this place too much. He told me it was gonna be just like Dave & Buster's but with a bowling alley and laser tag, but it's more like a minimalist Chuck E. Cheese with laser tag and bowling. The food was decent for the eat and play combo for $30. The two rounds of laser tag that we played were about eight dollars each. The only reason for the stars is for the food, service, and laser tag. Otherwise it would've gotten it zero stars . The ambience is like a want to be Dave and Buster's, but it's just a Chuck E. Cheese knock off as far as the arcade area goes. With $60 worth of play, using approximately $40 of that, I won 2000 tickets and their prize cage is pretty depressing. If you were looking to have fun and play laser tag get the $10 unlimited laser tag play and you could spend all day there grab some food grab some drinks and it could be worth your while and maybe do some bowling but that's all I would expect out of this place. read more

I'll definitely be back. The family experience was nice: Redemption points in the arcade, bowling was super, laser tag was a blast and the electricity about the place was top notch. A few notes: A few of the games in the arcade were out of order. These were the games that really shouted out to the kids (Kid Magnet Games). The staff educated that the games had been down for a while which was strange as The Summit had only recently opened its doors. The order of sliders was a bit dry. Had to ask for some BBQ sauce. The attention to the feedback was met with a smiling manager who was very interested in making it right. High five to this awesome member of management. However when presented with a receipt for the meal, nothing was itemized. It felt a little awkward to pay without knowing everything about the costs, taxes and totals of the meal. But maybe that's just me (Nit-Picky). However to end on a happy note: This is a sweet destination for the family. Didn't think you'd have to wait 25 min for the staff to bring you shoes. As well as the fact the drinks were flat, cups were dirty, and overall just bad service. Came here with friends and was fun. Once. It was fun once. We tried to come back twice for my boyfriend's birthday, just a few of us to bowl. The first time was an outrageous time wait and we came around 3:00 in the afternoon. We left instead of spending two hours waiting around. The second time I tried to call ahead and make a reservation for the VIP lounge. The woman told us they can't take reservations. Fine. I asked what time of day would be best to get a lane, yada yada... We show up at the time she gave us and they said a half hour wait. Okay, no big deal. 45 minutes later and they had no idea how much longer and then they had the gall to say I should have made a reservation! We will never go back. It's a shame really since we had fun the first time but being jerked around and having to wait for over two hours just to bowl is insane. read more

We had a problem with our game card and I was so impressed with the customer service because I didn't even have to ask for a manager. We had fun bowling and then we went to go eat lunch. The front person sat us in the very back of the restaurant and we never got a waiter asking us for a drink or food order. After sitting there for 20 minutes and watching other people sit and be served, I asked the front person if we could get a waiter just for drinks and he said somebody would be right there. My husband stayed to order if someone showed up since my kids were getting antsy and hungry so I brought them out to play in the arcade. After 20 minutes in the arcade came back to the restaurant and still nobody had come to the table to help us. After already asking the front person for help. It was absolutely ridiculous watching other people be served and nobody in our corner getting anything. This has left an extremely bad taste for this place and my family of 5 will never come back even though my son wanted to have his birthday party here. There's much better and more attentive places than this place. They can't handle anything that gets busier than 10 or 15 people. I'm definitely going to let people know to avoid this place unless you want to be extremely frustrated and your 5 year old cry because she was so hungry looking forward to lunch and nobody would even serve you even after asking. read more

This establishment has really gone downhill over the years. Two weekends ago we went to play games with the kids and their card machine was down, but they failed to post it on the door or let people know until they were already in the building trying to pay. We came back this last Saturday to try again and learned a lot of their games are not working or counting tickets properly. Over the years I have learned that several games do not work here, however this time was ridiculous. I had reported issues when they came up and was assured that the tickets were tracking right. When I went to redeem, not much to my surprise they were NOT tracking properly. The manager Alexis was extremely rude and unprofessional, even making a comment in front of me along the lines of, " Someone come help this lady because she doesn't like what I have to say". WOW! We come here several times a month to play games with the family, my husband does bowling league and we have had Birthdays here, but this experience with their "Manager" Alexis was inexcusable. I am updating my review from one star to four due to the follow up of their Manager Ryan. He was extremely courteous, professional and went above in order to win us back. Thank you Ryan! read more

Ordered boneless Buffalo wings and onion rings to take the edge off but the wings were served late and cold. The onion rings were much better with great batter and tasty onions but very few in an order. The starters were. so disappointing that we decided to leave and get dinner elsewhere. There is a lot to do at The Summit. We like the restaurant enough to go there just for a meal. (I recommend everything except the mushroom-heavy quesadillas). There is a full-fledged arcade with more than just video games; there's skee-ball and air hockey and many other physical games. The modern bowling alley has a lot of features that make bowling fun. Lazer Tag is always fun, but LLT does it better. There are many ways to get a good deal on entertainment at The Summit; plan ahead, shop around, and it won't cost nearly as much. Stay away from this facility ! We have an autistic child, we reached out to book a private party at this facility. They took the $50.00 deposit and said they would do their best to accommodate with allowing the Eagles Nest room. Then I get a call from an Alejandra Martinez, who said she was the Regional Events coordinator for the Summit in Windsor and Thornton, she said NO, they would not help accommodate for his $600.00 birthday party and it would be a "day of" call. I explained the children are autistic and cannot handle loud noises. I was willing to pay an extra $75 fee but if this couldn't be scheduled we would then just need to cancel. Alejandra says, "Well you won't get your refund back and we could issue you a play card". Your facility is not willing to accommodate children of special needs ? This facility needs to take a serious look at the women you have in a management position. Unprofessional and to know that you discriminate against autistic children is unbelievable ! Listen people they are money hungry and do not care about our community or the special needs children in our community. read more
