We were in Ft. Collins, just walking around Old Town, and saw this place. Once I established that kids can go in, my son joined me downstairs. He noted the newish air hockey table and large selection of pinball options. To my great surprise, my favorite pinball machine of all time is here. It's from the 90s and isn't seen much nowadays. Then, I noted the beer list. More quality/local brews and less swill than in similar arcades in the Denver area. Nicely done. Air hockey delivered with strong jets and a long play time. Kicker: It was only 50 cents. There's no card to buy to put money on first for "convenience." I got a replay on that pinball game on the first try. High score. I appreciate that quarters are the way here. No tokens to be left over and wasted or require a trip back to use. I appreciate that Street Figher II costs but a quarter. The only negative I have is that, like at Denver arcades, the buttons on this game are beaten down and don't respond quickly, at times not at all. Overall, this was an upgrade for us versus our usual spots down South and it'll be on my mind next time I'm in Ft. Fun. read more

Totally fire place to go to. The environment is a chill place to be in. Many of the machines are quarter based operated, so you need to put cash in a change machine. I really liked how they had a multicade, Mrs. Pac man, and Donkey Kong. The only thing that sucked was that the Donkey Kong Machine needed some repairs and so it wasn't playable. Since it is near downtown Fort Collins, you are able to go to many different areas. I highly recommend anyone to come here. read more

Pinball Jones is one of those magnificent surprises that come out of traveling the world with no plan in hand and no itinerary. I was recently working in New Mexico, preparing a new adventure, when I decided to stop by Fort Collins for a couple of days and visit some friends who happen to live there. During my stay we visited several breweries (which were amazing) but I also learned of the fact that in the city breweries are not allowed to sell alcohol past 9pm. I was disappoint at first, since after a couple of drinks at an excellent brewery, we had to leave and walk back into the cold of early Spring. But what a great surprise awaited me. My friend Cassandra, knowing me full well, knew exactly where to take me next. She walked me past a couple of streets, then all of a sudden I saw he made a turn towards what seem to be a basement but turned out to be Mecca. Pinball Jones is not advertised by glitzy signs, or the most extravagant doors, yet it should. It's a place where men and women of the 70's, 80's, and 90's can come to devolve into their childhood state while enjoying a delicious adult beverage. The moment I walked in, my jaw dropped. Like it's name states the place is packed with pinball machines, but not just that. It has a ton of original arcade games, and so much more. The original Mortal Kombat, the original Street Fighter - you name it. They have it there for you and your friends to enjoy. The bartenders and servers are cool and relaxed. The crowd is young and hip, mostly college students from CSU. Additionally, if you check in on Yelp, you get two free plays, which translates into a dollar which they literally get from the till. So just by checking in you're already making money. Lol! This place is a gem. We need a copy of it, a franchise of it, in South Florida. From now on every time I visit Fort Collins, change that, every time I visit Colorado, I'll definitely have to stop at Pinball Jones! read more

Showed up with some friends on Saturday around 9:30pm and I pulled out my phone to use the myColorado ID app as I prefer not to carry my wallet with me when going out. The bouncer refused to take it and claimed it could be a screenshot, despite me showing him the app and him watching me login. How fun to be able to go back in time. This location is full of pinball machines and other "vintage" video games. It was great to see some kids under 21 there just hanging out and playing these. So many kids now are glued to a tv and it was refreshing. The place is a little dingy but that's not a bad thing. Ps. If you like sour beers, they have a coffee sour on tap. read more

My girlfriend bought a shot and left a tip and I bought a draft. He then puts his arms on the counter and aggressively said "look man! I already have your friend a free drink. This review is for the Campus West location on Elizabeth st. I am totally in love with this place. We came in on a Thursday around 3 in the afternoon. It was quiet with just a few people. First off this is a family friendly barcade! We don't have anything like that in Las Vegas! Minors are allowed inside until 9pm! The husband and I had drinks at the bar while our toddler explored the area. I wouldn't recommend letting your toddler run around while you have a drink at the bar hahaha BUT there were only a few people there but on the other side of the room. Plus we knew the bartender;-) I recommend anyone with kids to come hang out here *before 9pm! They have old school pinball machines and arcade games for $.25-.75! They also have pool tables, skee ball and a toy crane! What an absolute treat! Gonna definitely visit again before we head back to Vegas! read more

Love this place. Basement bar that feels like a basement/arcade. Free popcorn, great beers on tap, and a knowledgeable bartender. Hell yes. Despite having gone here a few times, I'm still pretty terrible at skee-ball, but I'm improving at air hockey. Just make sure you have worthy opponent. I've never been here when it's crowded, and that in itself is magical. I'll definitely be back! The good: great place for drinks, talking, and playing games in case you're tired of talking. The bad:...can get a little drafty in the winter, but in the summer the front doors open wide and I imagine it's lovely. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Went to the location on Elizabeth to hang out and they were having one of their open mic "comedy nights." Most if it consisted of white men telling Black jokes and looking for ways to "enhance" them. As a Black woman, I found this extremely inappropriate, and what made it even worse was that none of the staff saw it appropriate to stop this behavior. I left the space after letting the staff know that this was unacceptable and completely racist. One of the managers tried to follow me out, and proceeded to tell me that they're not racist, they're just buzzed and bantering with the audience - as if that makes it okay. 100% would not recommended to anyone, and especially people of color in Fort Collins. read more

Fun little barcade with tons of pinball machines and classic games like skiball, airhockey and claw machines. They also have a photo booth, classic arcade games like pacman and shooting games. I also liked that they had several multiplayer games as well. My only gripe would be that some of the machines take only quarters, others only dollars, some you can swipe your debit card so the inconsistencies meant we could do some machines and not others. Also, most of the machines are a little worse for wear and could use a wipe down but luckily hand sanitizer is nearby. read more

Pinball Jones makes two promises, and delivers on both. Here there be pinball, no less than 16 machines in mint condition. And once you leave, you'll be jonesing for more. The science of branding, y'all. Games range from tabletop classics like Ms Pac Man and multiplayer platformers (oh hai The Simpsons) to light gun shooters and mechanical wonders akin to crane grabbers. Air hockey and skew ball represented. There's a working photo booth. Most of these arcade jams are relegated to the side room, while the main area is all about the shiny metal ball. And beer -- they serve beer. Aside from the tremendous collections -- Theater of Magic, Addams Family, Tron, Jurassic Park, Medieval Madness and more -- and the hell reasonable charge (most machines are 50¢ plays), the chief reason PBJ gets a perfect score is that every pinball functions flawlessly. No wonky bumpers, no lagging flippers or defunct mechanics. The maintenance is amazing; they all played perfectly. Wish I could say the same for myself. I remember when I was a child, before video games came out pinball machines were the things to play. I was very young when they were popular but it didn't stop me from playing them. If I had to I would drag a chair over to the machine and climb up on the chair and play. The seeds of being a gamer of the 70's through the 90's were firmly being planted. I thought pinball was always somewhat difficult even to this day but it was always fun. Now in the age of digital gaming it was very refreshing to see Pinball Jones open up and have a bunch of new and old pinball machines to play. Probably my favorite pinball machine is the Black Hole machine. They also have an old video game machine that has retro games like Centipede, Pac Man, Dig Dug (and some wow!, I remember those games), Mr. Do and Crystal Castles. Pinball Jones is a nice detour from the bars, shops and restaurants and offers a bit of old arcade fun to the Oldtown experience. read more

Been dying to check this place out and was kind of disappointed. I went with a couple of friends to check it out as I thought about renting the place for my birthday. We walked in and waited literally ten minutes to order a drink. No one was around. If I was some reckless highschool student I would've just take a beer out of the fridge. So I didn't have a beer. I had a dollar and figured id atleast place a little bit. Most of the games were .75 which is awkward. Maybe it I walked in and there was a bartender it would've been fine. But I probably won't be coming back here any time soon nor recommending it. read more

We went here with a couple friends last week and part of the arcade was closed (they apparently close it Mondays and Tuesdays). We were all pretty bummed 'cause our friends had been here before and they said there were old racing games, air hockey, and things like that on the other side. But, despite that, we had fun. I played a lot of skiball 'cause it's that, pinball, or the bowling machine and I'm not very good at pinball. Skiball is super fun, though.
