This place is pathetic they will attack your wallet at all cost. As far as living my building was roach infested. I told them right away and my response was "sorry". After reading reviews they've known about the issue for a while. Be prepared to pay every fee and avoid the property manger at all cost she treats her employees horribly, she is extremely rude. Verbally telling me as a nurse I should be able to email her during the business day even if I'm working (guess I thought my job was More important than it was) when I responded 1 business day late to her. FYI if your 60 day notice is late (from my experience) prepare for at least a 90% rent increase for ever day it's late. Read your contract too, if you were unaware your 60days was up then they did not properly inform you and you do not owe them that money. This is my honest review. I loved all the workers except for Diedra and the company as a whole is coming after your wallet and will take every cent they can in anyway they can.

I am a current renter who placed a work order in on Saturday June 13th. It has been a little over a week(today is June 23) and it took me going to the front office to get an update (on June 22) on what the solution was going to be about the MOLD i found in my AC vent... in MY BEDROOM. I am 8.5 months pregnant, and up until the last week i enjoyed my time at these apartments. The location was convenient, staff was friendly, maintenance was Always respectful and polite. But since this new management team has taken over, this place does not feel like a home. Work orders typically had a turnaround time of 24-48 hrs. So this makes no sense to me. When i went to the front desk, i asked about an update for my work order, i was informed "we have had to let several people go so we are running with two maintenance men at the moment". Which, fine! But the explanation on why my apartment hasn't been checked was what got me. I was told "i printed out all the work orders and they are aware of them all and are working through them as best as they can, if they are not in your unit by today, they will be there sometime in the morning. It is currently 1:32pm and yet NOT ONE person has been in my unit. Oh but let me not forget to inform them if I will be renewing my lease! I have received a total of 6 texts, 11 emails (from June 4-June 22) about renewing my lease and not one text/email with an update on my work order. I informed the front desk woman that i was not renewing (the mold definitely played a part in my decision) and turned in my form right then and there. Any consideration of renewing left when lease renewal took precedence over health. Hopefully this gets their attention, because this is definitely a management issue and not a maintenance issue. Their lack of staffing should not risk the health of renters and management needs to prioritize the work orders and not just hand off to maintenance and let them figure it out. ***UPDATE*** Since Beatriz is based out of Austin and has clearly no professional experience when it comes to accountability, let me add an update. The cleaners mentioned showed up the next day. Thank goodness! In their professional opinion they mentioned, yes, that the AC setting should be set to "auto" not "on". This is my second lease here, and i moved to this unit to upgrade from the smaller one i was in. NOT ONCE DID anyone mention this to me, nor have i experienced this in any apartment I've called home., BUT also poor design. They mentioned how the layout for the vent in the shower/restroom pushed the air to the bedroom causing poor ventilation and being a big part of the mold issue. So it was a combination of both things. Now had the ac setting been mentioned, i would have gladly taken accountability. Clearly something you do not know anything about. My review was more so to draw attention to the facts... it took me writing this review to get a response and/or action 7 BUSINESS DAYS LATER. It was the lack of urgency and accountability in action and response that was more of concern, second to the initial work order, MOLD. Beatriz, a more respectful response would have been to leave a number and have me contact you to get my side. A review CLEARLY does not allow enough space to give ALL details. Your lack of knowledge and information regarding this situation is clear. Had you attempted to reach out to speak to me this could have been taken care of with the office here. But because you chose the right one, i didn't have time to make this edit, but i MADE time. It is now public. This is only one of the many concerns and issues that happen here. This complex is not a place to call home anymore. There has been SEVERAL vehicle break-ins, all within the same day or days apart. Vandalism to vehicles(caused by hit and runs). Elevators constantly being broken down and taking days to repair so if you live on the first floor but have to park all the way up because there's no open spots on the lower levels, the stairs is the way to go.(good luck if you're on the 6th floor parking). Break-ins to storage units. I've had my street access door almost broken(or entry attempts) several times. As well as things stolen off my porch (like my shoes). I could go on. But public do what you will with this info.

This was the #1 reason I chose this complex as a single medical student. I've saved a lot of money on commute (or lack thereof). One bed/bath was also relatively cheap. 2. Staff/management has always been polite and reasonable. I have never had issues with them, despite the seemingly high turnover of front office staff. 3. Maintenance is great! Same day service (except for those services, like pest control, that are scheduled on specific days of the week). Repairs are generally tackled same day unless you submit a work order later in the day. If so, they usually come and take care of it quickly the following day. 4. Relatively quiet. There aren't a lot of amenities outside, and thus not a lot of attractions for people to make occasions for being loud or rowdy. I would say ~50% of people here are in healthcare-affiliate schools, and likewise appreciate the quiet. 5. Recently remodeled units. You can look on the website for exactly what has been added (e.g. Granite countertops). 6. As far as I know, and for being without gating, it's a safe community. Cons: 1. This apartment complex is not greatly visually appealing. It's a bit old, and, as mentioned above, lacks amenities save for a (very) small gym with outdated equipment and a modest-sized pool. 2. Only one inlet/outlet to the complex, and it can sometimes be a tight squeeze. 3. The recently (~beginning 2016) remodeled units do come with laundry washers/dryers, however they occupy the space where the food pantries used to be. You will have to improvise with storing your food. Personally, I would not like this trade off (I don't live in a renovated unit). 4. Small kitchens in all units. Little counter space. This has been a frustration of mine since the beginning. Overall: - Ideal for the thrifty medical/dental/whatever student wanting to live close to the medical/dental/whatever school. - I haven't had problems with the staff. I haven't run in to anyone who has had problems with the staff. - Quiet, respectful neighbors who keep to themselves. - Not much of a looker. - Amenities aren't spectacular. - Units themselves aren't top-of-the-line.

My unit has no problems and had updated features when I moved in. The property is gated, has a courtesy officer who patrols regularly, and the neighbors are generally quiet. We have trash valet service that comes Sunday-Thursday and a secure mailroom to make it easy to get packages outside of office hours. The only complaint is that some pet owners do not clean up after their dogs despite the availability of dog poop bags and trash cans. The office staff is prompt about answering questions and very courteous, but a special shout out goes out to James, their head of maintenance. He always does a great job, has a positive attitude, and has set the bar high. All my maintenance requests are completed within 24 hours and always done correctly. I highly recommend this property.

I have a small business and every other apartment I've lived in had a "business" center, but it couldn't foster a business meeting, meanwhile here, before even getting to any amenities, the lobby itself is where I feel confident to meet a new client. We wound up first tenants to move into our unit and have called here home ever since & pulling up is just a little exciting every time.
