I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. We finally went and it was great. I had a basic baked potato, which was huge and delicious. My step son had a flatbread pizza and my husband had a sandwich and a spicy Bloody Mary. We got chips and queso for an appetizer. The restaurant was cute and decor was great with all small details were so cute. Service was good, you do have to go to counter to order but staff is friendly and not a long wait for food or drinks. I came here for brunch with friends. I love that there were some vegan options. I had the roasted vegetable sandwich made vegan (vegan cheese and balsamic instead of pesto). Really tasty! They can make any of their pizzas and sandwiches with vegan cheese. I definitely want to try more options. The restaurant is small but cute and cozy. You'll find the main street bistro occupies a very small space in downtown Sumner. It's cute inside with a small bar, but seems to be staffed by just a solitary worker who was quite busy. The food portions are very small. The prices on the other hand aren't. I had an everything quesadilla, and it was served on a small tortilla, not a full size tortilla. My friend ordered a sandwich that look like it could be made at home. Next time, I think I'll try the coffee. Maybe this place is better for breakfast? I hope so. read more

This place says "family friendly" but its not really. Our kids are little, and thank god, were good while we ate. This place is more of a lunch with friends or a drink before a date night. I ordered the chicken cesar salad cause we had dinner plans this night. It was really good with the right amount of chicken and bacon crumbles. My husband got the Italian grinder sandwich and said it was just good. If you do come here with kids, they have lots of Flatbread pizzas. We ordered our kids the cheese pizza and they loved it! This is a cozy cute place we had a cold sandwich and a hot one the hot they were both delicious and we loved the chips. We got to eat outside in a tent and they were very well prepared even offered us hot warmers for our hands which was a plus. My husband came home from Saudi Arabia for Christmas he is army abs he wanted a draft beer and this place made it happen. The lady taking our order and running the drinks etc was awesome. It's not a bistro, it's more like a coffee shop where you walk up to the counter to order and pay, although they do bring your food out to you. We weren't too hungry so we shared a pepperoni flatbread which was tasty, hot, and reasonably priced. The dining room was rendered uninhabitable by a woman with a foghorn voice who was carrying out a detailed real estate transaction on her cell phone. She was still going at it when we left 20" later. They can't prevent rude people from coming into their shop, but part of running a restaurant involves actively managing your dining space so it's pleasant for everyone. Built in box shelves filled with candies, snacks and jars of pickled things. Merch and clothes as well. I was excited to see gf cinnamon rolls! Then I was told they were only on weekends. I ended up with a GF pizza and the bf had a Turkey cranberry sandwich. They were both pretty good. They had 6 or so beers on tap and a nice selection. We stopped in again at Main Street Bistro and so glad we did, while out on a drive through the town it was lunch time and this quaint little bistro was a great idea. I would recommend their bubble sampler, for lunch my sister had the chicken cheese quesadilla and I opted for the chicken salad with apple and blue cheese... yummy! loaded with chicken and crisp green apple. Fantastic stop! We got the cranberry gin and tonic which was fantastic! My husband and I shared two flatbreads the popper and bbq and man was that amazing. They are a bit small so next time we'll get 3! We also got the pizookie which was amazing. I love the small gift shop and candy shop! The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the annoying kids.
