Super disappointed yelp says farm shed is open till 9pm tonight (Saturday), drove out and someone came out and said they were closed today.. This is NOT the first time we have tried to come visit this establishment and they have been closed when hours posted on yelp and apple Maps said they are supposed to be open.. Very disappointed should update hours on yelp and Apple Maps so people don't drive out to visit a closed establishment. read more

Wonderful place. Owners are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Place is a wonderful building done so nicely in industrial shabby chic. There are wines, cocktails, beers, and sober drinks. There is charcuterie if you get hungry, and fantastic tchotchkes to buy if you want to. There is an adorable dog named Roy - who definitely gets five stars, so does Gus the cat - but he doesn't come in. We joined after our second visit, and have been here many times since - love it. VERY super inexpensive tastings, too of the many, many places I have been to on the East and West coasts, (Admittedly not the middle). Do yourself a favor and go here. You will be very impressed. I am offering an additional star as Madeline reached out with a diplomatic apology and explanation. I hope this is genuine and not just because I wrote the negative review. I understand the position they were in, but we had no idea about the entry rules or restrictions as we saw the event while we were driving by and popped in to support Culp. There was no one to tell us about bands, or tickets or anything. It just looked like a rally in a park. We should all be careful to consider how we treat people when they are willing to pay money. If they are not acting belligerent or offensive but simply questioning their treatment, they should be handled in person as diplomatically as the response to my review was. It would have made all the difference. I will give Farmshed another chance and maybe they will earn some more stars and nice words from me. Apology accepted. read more

The negative reviews for Farm Shed came from having rude servers and management, including disputes over charges, which was our experience. Our server forgot one order completely, and we purchased a flight with one incorrect beverage out of three. We also returned a beer after one sip (it was horrible); but they kept it on our bill even after taking it back and acted shocked that we requested its removal. What restaurant ever does that? They also added glasses on our bill that we never ordered. As other reviewers have stated, Farm Shed had zero interest in making things right, the owners were unapologetic, they acted indifferent and put upon, and they made us feel thoroughly unwelcome. The owners also stated they are not on Yelp "for this very reason," which turned out to be untrue. Buyer beware. read more

Ahh... I've been relishing in the fact that I'd soon get the time to write my scathing review for this place. AND LOOK- here we are! I'm excited... So, first and foremost... I'm a local. Grew up in Buckley. In fact, live right across the road from this "lovely winery".. Watched them build and evolve this venue etc... Never really gave thought to going and trying it out though, due to other personal factors... Last weekend (7/25/20) I heard a crowd cheering and hollering as well as live music... First time I had ever heard this coming from there. I Googled to see what was going on.. It was Loren Culp's rally! I thought, "OH, heck yeah! I want to go support this guy." I called my mom to see if she would watch my best friend & I's kids and she so sweetly did... Here's where the excitement comes in... Upon arriving at the venue, it seemed to be a good time...surrounded by Republicans!! Our kinda good time... We look around for an adult beverage. Scope out the only place available, which was the "Happy Hour" tasting van, owned by the company. We all wanted to try the wine, so we hopped in line... Mr. Culp was on stage and speaking to everyone. I interacted with him in line, along with others, SUPPORTING HIM.... The Owner (She claimed to be, though I know she was really the daughter of the owner) of the property approached me with a smirk on her face and states "We're closing down and no longer serving." We respond very politely with " We just got here, would like to try your wine, there's one lady in front of us and no one behind us..??" She said "No, we're done serving tonight." We accepted it and walked away, calmly though slightly annoyed. We sat to the side and watched for about a minute, when about 5 other people got in line after us and proceeded to purchase drinks! We were like.. WTF..? So my girlfriends husband was with us and at that point we turned to him and said ".. Go do your thing." He walked over to talk to the different rep standing at this van and asked why.. he said " she honestly cut you off because she (me) looked underage & intoxicated." I walked over and respond with the fact that they didn't even ask for my ID. RUDE AS HELL. The little girl then came walking back over to me, got WAY too close in my face and proceeded to say "Ive cut you off!"... I didn't have a single drink to begin with... Lowkey sister, the way you were acting, you shoulda been the one to be cut off. I asked again for her to justify why. She responded with "I'm the owner of this property. You need to leave or I will have security come over here." At that point, I was so stunned with her arrogant, rude, snobby, flapping mouth... BUT I quickly came to my senses and realized I will get share my experience, in hopes that I can spare some readers from this rude, over priced, sad, crap hole excuse of a winery... If you truly want to support local, please go somewhere with nice employees & owners like Elk Head, Leony's Cellar or the quaint brewery near Inlet Island on Tapps. I'm a firm advocate of voting with my pocketbook...I'm glad I got to see "The Owner" in full Bitch Mode!!! I'll spend my hard earned money where people are nice, polite and thankful for patrons business. read more

I discovered this gem a couple of years ago and from the very first time I went there I felt like I was "home". The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the wine and beer is delicious and their special events are legendary. I have taken friends there on numerous occasions and they echo my sentiments. There is no better place to enjoy a summer afternoon then on their beautiful patio among planters filled gorgeous flowers with a musician playing music, sipping a delicious glass of wine and enjoying the beautiful farm setting with Mt. Rainier looming in the background. I highly recommend the Farm Shed Wines & Brew. You will not be disappointed. read more

This is a beautiful winery. The setting is amazing. Very expensive. Flight of three wines is $15 and the flight of five is $25. The cost of your tasting does not go towards the purchase of a bottle. Also their best Red wine, the house wine, is not sold in a bottle. When one of my wines got hot in the sun (because they all come out at the same time), I asked if they could give me a refresher. They refused and instead offered to put my existing glass on ice. read more

Went there today for a tasting based in a recommendation of a friend. They do 22 dollar flights of 5 wines or 15 for three. They change wines every week and also carry an assortment of ciders. The ladies were wonderful and very fun to interact with. However, I think 22 for a flight is pretentious and I would not go back for that price. 10-12 ounces is a lot; especially given the prices of the wines mostly in the 20 dollar a bottle range with a high priced champagne. No seating or comfy environment for a premium cost place. Either think of doing a cheaper taste or add seating and snacks for the prices you are charging would be my opinion. The wines were really good! The servers were friendly and attentive. They did not seem extraordinarily knowledgable about the product. Apparently, they are a "wine bar" and not a tasting room. That being said, tasting fees do not go toward the purchase of a bottle. The tasting/pours were of good quality but could be more sizable... and are somewhat pricey. $25 for 5 pours. It seemed expensive. I mean a really good bottle of wine is $25. The ambience was fun, and they played good music. We ended up buying some cider, which was spicy and unique. There's a dog that roams the premises who was friendly. I'm torn between a 3 or 4 star rating. I'll give them a 4 star because they are new and I'm sure they're working out some bugs. 1st time stopping there, nice little local place the focuses on small batch wineries. The wines were excellent, they tasting fees where quite high $25 for 5 tastings. I would be nice if after a tasting you got a discount on a purchase or if they they had like a wine club where you could get discounted tastings and maybe a discount on bottle purchases. We just happened to drive by and stop by and loved our experience here! Two weeks in a row we have stopped and enjoyed wine from small Washington wineries. We made our second trip to Farm Shed today. Our first visit was enjoyable so we went back. We ordered two white wines and some cheese. The cheese we got was dried out and hard. We showed it to our server and she took it away. We got our bill and the cheese was still on it. I asked about it and she said the manager said WE HAD TO PAY. Now, I would completely understand if the manager had come to us and said that is how this French cheese was, but no one did. I told my server to tell the manager that for $9.75 in cheese (plus tax) they would get a bad Yelp review which was a bad value. She not only didn't say sorry she acted as though they didn't care. We won't be back because of this. I recommend that if you do go, DON'T BUY THE CHEESE!!! What a shame. We gave them every chance to make this right and their poor customer management took control. read more

THe person helping us was incredibly rude and made us feel very unwelcome. I called ahead to see if dogs were allowed and was told yes feel free to bring my dog. When we showed up there was another dog there and so I held my dogs leash close so she wouldn't start trying to play with all of the other people around. It was very busy so we walked in to the counter to ask if we sat ourselves or if we needed to sign up to taste at the counter. One of the women working there quickly came over and put the dog inside and then asked us if we wanted to taste wine, almost as though she was being inconvenienced. We said yes and she told us to go outside to the farthest table and told us not to go to the person at the counter because he was busy pouring. We have never been here and did not know, we walked up to him just to ask what we should do. We took our seats outside and enjoyed the wine, however feeling very unwanted. Once we paid the same woman came and brought us our check. Once we had signed she remarked "oh good now so and so (referring to the dog) can come out". I just sat there shocked feeling incredibly unwelcomed and rushed. I would not go back nor would I recommend this place based on the terrible customer service. I believe the woman we encountered was one of the owners I which makes it worse. If they do not want other dogs they need to make it clear from the beginning. It was also an expensive tasting with no information provided about any of the wines being served. I will not be back. read more

My family and I have been coming here for over a year and have had great experiences each time. The family who owns Farm Shed visits wineries and hand selects the bottles they serve. Their staff is always very knowledgeable about the wines they sell and you can tell it's something they're very passionate about. Maddie not only chooses the wines for their characteristics, but also from the story behind the winemaking or how the wine "got its name." This summer, Maddie grew hops and will start brewing her own beer in October. They are currently adding on a brewery and we can't wait for the grand opening! read more

So beyond disappointed and in shock by the way we were treated especially after spending over $200 on wine for the 2nd time in 2 weeks both times I came with friends who also spent $ here... After being accused and badgered about supposedly not paying for two glasses of wine ($12) for a ridiculous amount of time, my friends pulled up their bank accounts to prove they had already in fact been charged for what we drank, seriously who does that? Why would you make customers feel so uncomfortable to the effect they have to pull up their personal information to prove to you they were in fact charged? Then to just be dismissed and told to leave after being proved wrong without apologizing... Absolutely terrible way to treat people, especially ones who spend large amounts of $ on wine in your establishment... I will never come back here and if i hear anyone talking about this place i will make sure to let them know how you treat people we are all locals... read more

The Summer Solstice Event was such fun..... music was lovely, food was delightful, and they kept wines flowing with fun tasting of all levels from sparkling to dessert. Wasn't able to stay until the very end, but had a lovely time and would definitely go again. Highly recommend a visit to this special place.....lovely vintners! read more
