Books are life. Main Street Books is the place to be to get out of corporate mainstream and in a place of solitude and kombucha. Plus, it is a local small business and it's important to support them. Main Street Books has a FABULOUS collection and I found and bought Native American/Indigenous books that are NOT sold at Barnes and Noble. There is also a Used Book section that is definitely not limited. It's everything genre. I lucked out and came on a day of live music (Friday) and it was so much fun and secure to see everyone be their true selves and enjoy music. The staff at Main Street Books are incredible, friendly, and they don't hover. Book, stationery, and all other goodies are very reasonable. Adorable store, friendly service, and a good array of books. I enjoyed 'Nothing to do but Stay' during my third ND winter in 2018-2019. I like to look around when I come to Minot--you can find something vintage and precious at a cheap price which always makes you feel good if you enjoy that sort of thing (I do). Yep, me too. I love this place as well. I like to sit and visit and read some of the kids books and just see what's around. Great things for children to play with and a fantastic little collection of unique stuffed animals. Very creative and lovely books, and the staff are very helpful. Charming and welcoming little local bookstore, they sell both new and used books as well as novelty and gift items.
