They let me drop my cat off for an exam and urinalysis first thing the following morning. My cat wasn't able to produce enough so they offered to keep he over night for a better sample. The following day they gave me an update and let me know they didn't see any abnormalities that would suggest serious illness and also gave her a shot for UTI just in case. And my little fur baby is doing great! My cat is a nervous cat too and they went above and beyond to accommodate her during her stay ensuring she had a quiet place to sleep and a bed! Amazing customer service and pet care! Thank you guys for taking such good care of my fur baby and helping her get back to good health!

Recently they forgot to return some dog toys and medicine. They said they would mail them as we live a ways a way, but the never did. They also give your pets a bath every time. This is to attempt to cover up the bad smell that they pick up after they are there. It is extremely obvious when having your pet in your vehicle with you for the next few hours. We haven given this place a few tries over 12 years. Enough is enough.

I took my dog to get neutered by this mobile Pet Vet and although it was cheaper than every other…read morevet in the area, my dog now has a perforation in his trachea where she clearly "allegedly" shoved the breathing tube down his throat for this simple neutering procedure. You can actually hear the perforation flapping as he breaths. He also vomits soon after he drinks water and isn't as chipper as he once was. His eyes are sunk in and I suspect he's always on the edge of dehydration because of the water vomiting. I now have to take him to another vet to fix this issue, which is going to cost me hundreds of dollars or more to fix The Pet Vet's careless screw up. There is a shed for protection against the wind and cold weather. The barn has a small indoor arena that is so great for our cold winter days. There is also a nice big outdoor arena to use as well as an outdoor round pen. There are many places to go trail riding plus before the fields are planted in the spring and after harvest in the fall there are acres and acres of farm land to ride on. I really appreciate how I can come to the North 40 at anytime during the day (any day) to take my horse out of the pasture to ride, groom him or whatever I want to do that day. The North 40 is located right off of the highway so there is easy access to it. When we get snow in the winter the Wickums are quick to move snow so we can drive into their place with no problem and get to our horses. My horse is in great shape and I'm grateful to be able to board here.

North 40 is spotless, a beautiful outdoor arena, an indoor arena, and better yet a path kept on 20 acres to do outdoor riding, weather permitting in winter months. Summer months have safe outdoor riding, and the fall brings hundreds of acres to enjoy. The owners ALWAYS have water and hay, many areas for horses to get out of wind/cold. This winter, our horses look better than ever. Last spring, at the other place, spring brought "ribby" looking horses, now they're so round their cinches are too tight I signed a contract, which includes my emergency vet info. Wes and Rhonda are very respected people in the horse community, ALL of the vets refer clients to their stables. We have seen horses traveling from Canada to the USA and vice versa, always taken care of, zero complaints. North 40 has made our days of riding enjoyable again, stress free, and in the cleanest place around! The owners even send videos occasionally of our horses enjoying themselves with their pasture mates My daughter and I are in better health mentally and physically, thanks to boarding here. The joys of CPAP: I…read morecompleted a sleep study & diagnosed with sleep apnea. This landed me a script & referral to keycare for a machine with all the fixings. They called quickly to schedule & were able to get me in w/in the week. Appointment went smoothly, as did billing/copay. I wasn't given choices on the machine itself, tho it was the most recent resmed. There were plenty of masks to choose from & a 30 day window to change the selected mask, if it wasn't working out. I opted for the 90 day automatic replacement/refill... I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. I still have 60 days til I get my first refill text. I did have a few questions about the insurance usage expectations and consequences of not meeting that expectation, as well as about how it works if I purchase my own travel machine. They were unable to answer those questions, so, I'll see what my doc can dig up for that at my follow up. On the upside, 3 weeks with no morning headaches!
