A dear friend sent a large very expensive dish garden with fresh flowers to me after my dad passed…read moreaway. The large dish garden was delivered to my house Tuesday after 3:30pm. I noticed the fresh flowers looked sad, white had brown spots and droopy but thought no more about it as I had other things on my mind. Some of the green plants had brown leaves. Wednesday morning to my surprise the fresh flowers looked more dead than alive. I called Bishop's Flowers and reported the wilted flowers. I emailed a few pictures and an employee said $30 would be refunded to my friend since the flowers were wilted. I am glad she was given a refund. For the amount of money spent the flowers should last at least a week!!! Losing a father is sad and receiving a floral order with wilted flowers isn't right to me. If you order from Bishop's, please tell them to make sure fresh flowers are fresh. You are paying for fresh.

Web pictures (and even pricing) are difficult to keep current in today's world. The florist can inform you how close to the web picture your purchase will be. I called Parker Florist to order a delivery (same day! On a Friday! I didn't make it easy for them!) The person I spoke with advised me that they could deliver an arrangement that afternoon ~ which was fair. The arrangement I chose from the website? The staff told me they could do that arrangement, but it wouldn't have flower A or flower B, because they had none of those flowers. Okay ~ what about Option 2? Bingo! They had all of those flowers and could make a great arrangement (said they.) I loved their enthusiasm when I chose flowers they had in the store. We agreed on my price point and concluded the call. I was a bit nervous, as some of the reviews for this florist weren't great. I was happily surprised when the flowers were delivered that morning. I visited my loved over a week later, and that arrangement was still beautiful!! So, kudos to Parker's Florist! I was delighted with their transparency, eagerness to help, and somehow making an earlier delivery than we initially thought possible!

I HATE that Ron Y. was disappointed w/his order, but FYI...NEVER order thru Proflowers, FTD, etc. as they just take more $ from the you, the consumer. All they do is contact a local florist to make the arrangement that you see a picture of on their website at a lower price. That's where you can run into problems like you had w/a swapped container, which if the local florist doesn't have the exact container/vase OR flowers they do have the right to substitute a similar item. ALWAYS call a local florist or have someone you know recommend one...I too have ordered online & have learned my lesson.

I spoke to Scott directly about my disappointment in a flower arrangement that he did for my…read morestep-mother's funeral. This is after he hung up on me the first time. He had substituted a gathering vase for the hurricane vase that was featured in the picture of the arrangement which I believe changed the appearance and the appeal of the arrangement. Scott stated that he was allowed to make the vase substitution and said that the arrangement contained all of the required flowers. Gathering the flowers tightly in the gathering vase rather than using a hurricane vase did not allow the flowers to expand and have the mounding effect shown in the photo of the arrangement. Scott took a defensive position through the entire conversation and did not seem to care about customer satisfaction. I will not use his services again.
