Main Street Hair Salon in Wildwood FL I had a hair cut on 1/31/20 with Summer which was fine -went back today 2/11/20 for highlights and to level the cut; I only wanted a few highlights and left looking like a blonde! yikes -----Then they charged me additional money to wash and style my hair!! I spoke with Kevin (the owner) about the charge and lack of notice and he was rude and asked if I wanted to cancel my next appointment in late March! Essentially "we don't care" is how he acted --so I canceled the next appointment. Caution with this salon be sure and clarify all costs! read more

I went to Main Street Hair Studio based on the recommendation of others. My hair needed to be restored back to its "normal" color after another salon just couldn't get a basic dark brown right. Not only is my color exactly what I wanted, my hair is styled so nicely that I receive compliments from strangers. I REALLY wanted to love my visit here. Lindsay has done my hair at other salons and I loved the result. However, on this visit, I had someone else. We sat and talked before hand about what I wanted and she was agreeable and understood. I was just really disappointed with the end result and the fact that I paid $165 for my hair to look basically like nothing was done is really upsetting. In fact, the highlights make my hair look greasy and I've had several people pick at my hair as if something was stuck in it, only to realize it was a spotty highlight. With the amount I paid, I expected way better quality. I really like Lindsay and the other girls all seemed like a fun crew. If I go back, I think I will just solely request Lindsay. read more

I was extremely happy with my visit here. I called that morning and they were able to get me in. I chose the salon because the girls were all so friendly and polite. Joanna is the one that cut my hair, and before she ever started she sat down and asked me what I liked and what I did not like about my hair. She did a beautiful job on the haircut! I just learned that Lindsey House with this salon responded to my concerns, with the same attitude as Kevin (Wildwood), "it's the customer's problem not ours - go elsewhere if you don't like it". She stated to the credit card company that my phone call to Kevin to simply inquire about the additional charge and subsequent online reviews constituted "harassment" and that it was normal for them to assess the charge for wash/style with color service (without telling the customer initially) I've had service at upscale salons around the U.S and never had incidents/attitude like this. Also they charge $30 for Agadir Spray Treatment and it costs $22 on Amazon. High prices for low service and bad attitudes, in my opinion. read more
