Dessert that night was a slice of cake that was absolutely delicious. Since then, I've gone back twice and left just as satisfied. For breakfast Friday morning, I had eggs over easy with home fries and bacon--everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Saturday's lunch was a massive Italian sub (or "hoagie" as they call it in Delaware) that was so big I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Their baked desserts are amazing--my personal favorite is the yellow cake with chocolate icing. Service can be a bit slow at times, but the staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the food keeps me coming back. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Smyrna.

This convenience store is located on the back roads near the Delaware-Maryland border. There are…read morelots of signs outside that advertise all sorts of offerings including fried chicken on Thursdays. It was Saturday, and hungry so we thought we would avail ourselves of some of the home baked goods advertised. We didn't see any. After we had been driving an hour this was the only place we encountered that might have a restroom. We were directed to the portable potty around the rear of the building. We bought a coffee, but did not see any baked goods except those that looked like the came from Costco. There's not a lot of curb appeal here either so eat and pee before you come to this neck if the woods.
