The ice creams included several flavors from each Hershey's and Penn State Creamery. The menus listed many toppings (e.g., butterscotch, hot fudge, pineapple, marshmallow, Oreos, and gummy worms). The ice creams could be put inside cones or cups or made into sundaes, shakes, and floats. I also noticed Italian ice on the menu. My husband and I are graduates of Penn State, so I ate three flavors of the Penn State ice creams. My husband opted to buy Moon Pie from the candy section. Everything tasted very good. My four extended family members ate two ice-cream cones in the flavors of cookies 'n cream and tie dye and one Allegheny River sundae that contained vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, crushed Oreos, gummy worms, sprinkles, and a cherry. They also went on a shopping spree in the candy section and bought a bag full of various candies. They enjoyed their treats and had fun. One recommendation that I have is to offer a different Dubai chocolate bar. The ones that we bought did not compare to the Dubai chocolate that I previously purchased elsewhere.

Oh well, I can't wait to come back next Spring when they open for the new season. This place serves the best soft serve ice cream. It's very creamy and delicious. They also serve pineapple Dole Whip that's equally creamy and flavorful. Walk up to the window and place your order. They serve you so quickly. Sit down on a clean picnic bench and linger while you enjoy your frozen treat. There are two different areas of picnic benches. You choose either on the side under the roof or out front as you watch the cars go by. The sign out front lets customers know the flavor of the day.

I saved the punch cards for a few years until I returned home (been almost 2 years because of Covid). But they would not honor my free cone. Tasty Creme is a small ice cream shop located on Library Road in South Park, very close to the county line. There is a private parking lot, and outdoor seating. On this visit, we went on a Thursday night in June around 8:30 PM. There were a few other people there, but we did not wait long at all. We did not feel rushed, and were allowed to take our time to look around and order. I am always impressed with the selection that Tasty Creme has in terms of novelty and to-go items. There is a chest freezer that is always stocked with various goodies, sandwiches, pies, and other things. They even have dog treats made in there! It was not super crowded on this day, so we had some time to chat with the girls working. They were all so nice, offered some product suggestions, and overall very friendly. One of the girls was training, and we had the honor of being served her very first cone - which was great. We ordered a few things. I personally got a Small S'mores Flurry with Crunchies added - it was great! Ordered this after a suggestion from the girls who waited on us and glad that I did. Additionally, we ordered a premade dog treat, a Small Chocolate-Dipped Vanilla Cake Cone, and an Oreo Extreme Parfait. Everyone, including our dog, enjoyed their sweet treats. In terms of value, I have always thought this place was a little pricy. But, it really depends on what exactly you order. Also, I discovered on this visit that there is a slight discount offered when paying in cash. For all of our items, I believe it was around $17 with the cash discount applied. They do accept cards though! I would recommend this shop, especially with it being a local small business. The line is usually not long, and you can customize your order however you like. A classic soft-serve ice cream stand, which you really cannot go wrong with.
