As a food lover and cook, I was excited to finally experience it firsthand, especially since I traveled from Arizona to visit. The seafood selection looked absolutely amazing and the store itself truly reflects the passion and hard work that has gone into building such a great business. Unfortunately, our experience at the counter was disappointing. The young woman who helped us was noticeably rude, unhelpful, and carried herself with an attitude that made us feel unwelcome. She didn't smile, seemed frustrated to be there, and it really overshadowed what should have been a great visit. What made it worse was that her customer service was not only rude to me, but also dismissive toward my senior father-in-law, showing no respect or manners whatsoever. Even he, who is usually very positive about this place, mentioned how unfortunate it was to encounter such poor customer service when the business itself is otherwise top-notch. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but my mother-in-law said she's always like that--which makes it clear this isn't an isolated incident. I normally don't write negative reviews, especially for small businesses I want to see succeed. However, customer service plays such an important role, and employees who treat guests this way don't reflect the hard work and dedication of Chris's hard-work. I truly hope management addresses this, because Western Edge deserves to shine for its incredible products--not be dragged down by one employee's attitude. So Mr. Chris, if you're reading this, you know what to do, because she is not a reflection of the amazing business you've built. Don't forget to grab a cart....they are kept at the top of the ramp. Once in the store make a right turn to the deli/meat department. Don't see what you are looking for? Just ask one of the employees...they are happy to answer your questions. If you need something that isn't displayed....maybe a different weight or you don't see any pasta salad, someone will be able to help you. Always have fresh products!! When leaving the meat/deli area, make a right and enter the produce section. If it is the correct season, you may find local produce for sale. Keep investigating the store and you will find bakery products, candy, frozen foods and many other products. You can't go wrong shopping here!!

I rarely remember that this place is around, so I do not shop at this Hallmark store as often as I do at some other locations. During the times I am there, it doesn't seem like many other people are shopping here as well. Because of the limited amount of customers inside the store, one is sure to have the total undivided attention from the store clerk. I generally welcome such attention, however, I find it unnecessary when I am shopping for greeting cards. The store is very clean and orderly, and their prices are in line with most Hallmark shops. In addition to their greeting card line and giftware, they carry purses, jewelry, and clothing. I also noticed giftware for sports fans and there is an area of boxed chocolates. I like the way the store presents itself, and the fact that they want to offer their customers the best service possible, but it is also important to allow your customers to shop freely by themselves.
