Another perfect visit! We've been going here for years and I must say that the service is always fantastic which I greatly appreciate! It's difficult to find good customer service but no matter who has waited on us here, they are always friendly and helpful. The employees are the typical younger people who are usually working the local ice cream establishments but what is unique is that they are all smiling, polite, clean and friendly so kudos to the staff here, you are appreciated! You really make a difference and stand out from some of the other ice cream shops. This is the perfect place to come for burgers and soft serve ice cream, although they have other food options and treats too. The burgers are made from local beef which may not matter to some but I love to support local! I always try their specialty burgers since they offer a unique flavor twist with different sauces, cheeses, and toppings (for example: fried onion straws, aiolis, egg, slaw, etc) You won't get just an ordinary burger at all. The fries are just the way I like them too, crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The ice cream never disappoints, I love trying their unique flavor options. The Belgian waffle sundae with strawberries is one of my favorites. It's great to have a casual food and ice cream shop that also has unique options. You never get bored with the same thing (unless you get "hooked" on a favorite that you can't stop ordering). [[HIGHLIGHT]]One of the best things about this location is the outdoor seating options. Maybe it was a user error on my end picking the cotton candy dipped ice cream (the pictures made it look so good), but I was disappointed with the final product here. The soft serve seems decent, but whatever the candy coating they spread on top tasted nothing like cotton candy, just little sugar rocks that were too much for my taste buds and stomach to enjoy. Despite waiting in line for a few minutes behind other people, the service was fast once I got up to the counter to order. I'd like to try it again in hopes Tastyland can prove me wrong and I just got unlucky with my order this time, but have to give two stars for now. read more

We heard about them offering breakfast through word-of-mouth, but I couldn't find it anywhere on their website. I decided to stop one day driving by. They indeed sell breakfast starting at 7 AM! They should update their website and have a road-side sign to indicate this offering because it's a hidden gem for sure! I got a hash brown, which was perfect. Crispy and salty like you want it. I also got a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a plain bagel. The bacon was cooked perfectly crispy. The bagel was a little doughy/chewy in my opinion, but I'm unsure if they make them in house so can't knock them on that. Nothing can beat a New York bagel, let's be honest. The sandwich overall tasted on the salty side so I think they just had a heavy hand this morning. I would get it all again though, but with a different bread choice! Tastyland is a go-to for burger cravings when I'm not wanting to make them myself. I love that they're using local meat and tallow. I know this may not matter to some, but for those who care it's great information. Tastyland is indeed quite tasty. Made a stop a few days ago, ordered the cheeseburger, fries and apple cider milkshake. The burger is delicious - drippy and messy with the perfect amount of condiments. It's absolutely what a burger should be. Fries are hot and crispy. The milkshake tasted as if a whole slice of apple pie was blended in. It's staffed with mostly high schoolers and they do a great job. Polite and efficient. Tastyland has very good food with large portions. It's probably best to go here for food OR ice cream. Don't try to get both at once -- it will be expensive, and you'll likely end up with leftovers, maybe even wasted food! (How do you save a partially eaten sundae?) The restaurant does accept credit cards for payment. There is no indoor dining area -- this is a walk up to the window and order place. The outdoor dining is open and spacious with lots of covered tables and benches spread out from each other. The unlined parking lot is also very large. I genuinely don't understand the hype about this place. For starters customer Service honestly isn't great. It's not horrible but not great either. I won't get into that though as it's irrelevant to my review. The food is mediocre at best honestly. The onion rings are literally $1 a piece with no flavor and the fries are overcooked in low quality old oil. At least that's what they tasted like. I got the special burger which had horsie sauce and smoked Gouda which legit had zero flavor. It tasted like any other mediocre cheeseburger. I was so surprised by this little ice cream shop on the side of the road in Greensburg. It's one of my favorite places I've ever stop for ice cream. immediately the fruity pebbles, caught my eye cause I had never thought to put that in ice cream before I got the soft serve strawberry with the fruity pebbles, and it was so refreshing and not overly sweet! New ownership has done a great job with tastyland. Exterior and interior renovation, smaller (but better) menu, and the ice cream was exactly how you would expect- delicious. "Let's go to that one ice cream place on the side of the road!" This is how all good adventures start, people. (As it turns out, Main Street turns into 66B north-ish of Greensburg, and that is the road on which you can find Tastyland. Alternatively, you could take the scenic route on other county roads until you see ice cream, but 66B and the toll road 66 would be the more efficient options). That said-- Tastyland had pretty delicious soft serve ice cream, and at a super cheap price. My small swirl cone was excellent, and my friends liked their orders as well (including one dipped cone). They have a ton of specialty flavors, but only chocolate, vanilla and swirl are available in small. They're also cash only. I'm not sure that I'd go on an adventure to find Tastyland again, especially because there's a delicious custard place much closer to my house, but I wouldn't complain if I ended up at Tastyland again. read more

There is a great variety of foods and ice creams and desserts. Be sure to bring your dog along as well, at Tastyland they offer dog treats and ice creams. Tastyland scratched me right where I itched. TONS of ice cream flavors and options (see pics). They have knock off blizzards called Arctic Freezes which taste great and are $2 cheaper than blizzards. My family has lived about 3 miles from Tastyland for just over a year. This is our go-to ice cream place when we need a treat. We don't even keep ice cream in the house anymore, because we would rather drive for the good stuff. Plus, the kids love the chickens that hang around. Some favorites are the M&M parfait and the turtle sundae. The soft serve is very good, but they do the toppings SO RIGHT. You get way more than you pay for, in my opinion. We will be moving out of state next spring, and I'll be sad to say goodbye to Tastyland. read more
