He quickly looked up the flavor of the day and recommended the Blue Raspberry Gelati, an excellent recommendation might I add. The atmosphere was excellent, very busy, but The Meadows and their employees handled the crowd with ease... my wait time to order and get my treats was less than 5 minutes total, my chocolate cone was fantastic and my Gelati was even better. They have quite an assortment of flavors, but their vanilla and strawberry are excellent. I have to drive a distance with them-( No, I'm not getting them anywhere closer), so I have to ask for 'flat tops' instead of their regular open ones, and they nicely hand me some with well secured lids. Eat in or out , the place is clean, and the people working are quite friendly. A bit pricey compared to other big names, but definitely worth it. Maybe a suggestion, if they could come up with a card for us Frequent flyers who go there often, it would definitely be put to good use.

From the viral bear cup to the fruity flavors to highlight the seasonal flavors! The best part.. in a shop with limited seating.. they reserve a table for you to enjoy your flight... for 45 minutes!! The staff is amazing! On this morning, the line was OUT the door and DOWN the street, but as soon as we entered and mentioned our flight reservation... they showed us our reserved table and had our drinks out to us in a few minutes. Nice place to stop in for a quick drink before heading home. Wooden tables, pool table, burlap sacks from hops or malt adorn the ceiling and walls of the taproom giving it a rustic vibe. I'm very grateful to have a healthy, organic and clean food option in Greensburg (as there aren't many). The only thing that would make this establishment better is the customer service. Unfortunately, over the last year or so, I've experienced poor customer service on a number of occasions. Just a PSA: if you come in anywhere within 15 minutes of closing time, expect to be met with very obvious disgust by the employees. I understand wanting to go home the moment your shift ends or the store closes; I've worked in food service for years, but I also know sometimes that's just not what happens. I stopped by recently, shortly before closing time, and received no greeting of any kind. I only received hostile stares from the girls behind the counter. It was very uncomfortable. I actually said at one point, "Is it a problem that we're here? We can just leave if it is." Eventually, one girl said "No, it's fine. We're open til 6" and proceeded to make the two smoothies I had ordered. I do feel bad that coming in at that time was such a stressful experience for the employees but I wish the employees understood the importance of treating all customers with equal courtesy and respect. I would be more understanding if it was a sit down restaurant and I tried to order multiple full course meals, but I simply wanted two smoothies. My recommendation would be to lock your doors at 5:45 pm if you want to be done serving customers by 6 pm. I think it would save the employees a lot of anguish.
