Both pairs of eye glasses I got here had an issue. One pair was unacceptable as the Rx was done so badly that it left me with blurry sight. Not enough staff to get timely help. Ended up going to the Freeport Maine location to get things fixed. read more

Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The staff is one of a kind! They have their COVID protocol and it is appreciated being someone that is immune compromised I appreciate that they are better my cautious. The eye ware staff is just as amazing. I had picked out a frame that was just a bit to pricey and they helped pick out another amazing frame at a better price. They also realized after I left that I had way better insurance then I thought, called to tell me the glasses were much less expensive then we originally thought. So they advised since my insurance gave such an amazing discount they were having a sale on a 2nd pair so I turned around and got sunglasses for the total of what I originally thought I was spending !!! read more

I needed glasses as the ones I had got stolen and my drivers licence was expiring and I needed glasses for the eye exam. Well I was not able to renew my licence as I didn't get my glasses until long after my licence expired and I couldn't find a person to drive me to the DMV. read more

The medical portion of my experience was fine. I had some issues with the billing process, but they were eventually resolved. Some advice I would give is to make it clear if you are scheduling a routine annual exam and not scheduling for a specific medical issue, and if you are asked to return for a continuing examination ask if there will be any cost not covered by your insurance. read more

I have a tricky prescription - not rare but not usual. I had an appointment with a new Dr. at the Gorham office this week. They are closer to where we live so, I gave them a try. It was the WORST eye exam I have ever had. Dr. never really paid attention to my vision or prescription. She spent a LOT of time trying to convince me that I need cataract surgery RIGHT AWAY and that she could "refer me." She finally wrote a new prescription off of the one I had with me from my previous Dr. It was so very unprofessional and I did not trust ANYTHING she said. She had no idea what to do with my eyes and said it wouldn't matter anyway. All I could think of was "insurance scam." So BEWARE. It was not a good experience for me. I came home and immediately called Dr. Metayer in Windham. It is well worth the drive. read more

Stopped in to pick-up an order for a friend and shop for sunglasses. New location and building,nestled near the Westbrook/Gorham border, provides a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Independent check-in and check-out windows lend to a quick and efficient process. Retail space was well organized and had a dedicated employee. It's difficult to miss the building from Rt. 25 but don't blink or you may fly past the poorly identified access road. Hopefully as they settle into the new space, they will add better signage. read more

After plugging in the address gps took me 30 minutes from the office. When I called for the location they told me that this was happening a lot and that they could still take me. When I am 8 minutes from the office they called to make sure I was close because the doctor wanted her lunch. I said how far I was and they said that is fine. I got there filled in all my paperwork and then they told me she had left and I needed to reschedule. Extremely unprofessional, no apology. I would have understood if they made me reschedule when I first called but they waited until I was there to cancel. read more
