NORDSTROM RACK From…read morethe scattered reviews I read, I decided to stop at Nordstrom Rack. I was only three miles from their Brandon store and in need of a few men's shirts and dress pants. I was aware that Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of the luxury department store chain, Nordstrom. I went there not expecting Walmart or other merchants prices. I found the men's shirts and pants racks and found several items that were the color and size I was looking for. A shirt that listed at $198.98 was on sale reduced 68% to a mere $74.96. It was a regular long sleeve shirt by Polo, Ralph Lauren. With all due respect to India where the shirt was made, I wondered what costly threads were used to make such a pricey shirt. The same was true of the pants and several other items. Mind you that these items in the off price store were on yet another discounted clearance rack in the store. Nordstrom may want to rethink their sales techniques at their chain of stores before people start realizing it's not a really an off price store.

I always have to order clothes online and end up returning half of them- or I just can't find anything in stores that I like once I try them on. However, this new boutique in Brandon mall has SUCH cute clothes, and I was very surprised at how well made they are. This store has the latest fashion trends- focusing towards young adults mostly, but it still has options that everyone would like. All of these clothing are mostly organized by color, which I prefer when I'm looking for something specific.The clothing do, unfortunately, range from Small-Large sizes. This is a boutique though, so that's understandable. I love how these clothes fit on me, and the staff was super sweet and helpful. Jennifer helped me find things, and offered to start a dressing room for me as soon as I came in- which I thought was great. I hate carrying clothes around the entire store. The prices are completely reasonable too! Going to chain stores, I always run into such high prices; I even end up paying over $30 for a shirt in some cases- which is INSANE. I'm so happy that this boutique has well-made and affordable clothes. There's a huge selection of colors too, and it's very well organized and clean in the store. I bought this purple dress for a great price and a really cute, white romper for $17! I will definitely be coming back to buy more, and I'm so glad I found this place! I searched all around and could not find the correct rack. The racks are messy. Disorganized and squished together. We overlook this because you can find the diamond in the rough. I searched for an employee for 15 minutes and found 1 in the checkout and 1 in the layaway. Nobody on the floor at all. Frustrating to say the least. BUT you can get some deals, so there is that.

There's one Kohls in MD where about everything on shelves and racks is in such disarray... not this Kohl's. Kudos to the management and the employees. Found a new dish set that matches my mother's current set. She liked it and said she rarely shops at Kohl's. I found going to this store so much easier and less hassle than shopping at the Brandon Mall.

Disappointed at checkout yesterday because I bought socks since the rack it was on said Buy 1, get 1 50% off. The girl at the counter ended up giving me 20% off instead and then treated me like the weird one when I questioned the discount difference. Generally, 50% helps customers save more money, and I grabbed the socks because I thought that was the deal. As a paying customer, just make sure when you go shopping here, they're following the discount policy that the signs say they are. It was $3 more I could've saved, verses the $1 she gave me off, not a huge huge deal but it was disappointing and not what I thought I was paying for/getting.

The store is definitely going through some changes switching out of the winter seasons.
