I visited on December 24th/2025. I specifically when in looking for Jellycats. Didn't have much of a selection. They have nice things I was looking around. My daughter and I were followed thru out the store. I was racially profiled. Young lady with blonde hair wearing a black top. The other salesrep with a tan shirt sleeve sweater. Salesrep with red sweater with glasses. Made us feel so uncomfortable. I bought a couple of Brighton jewelry pieces. I will assure you I will never go back in there. read more

I've been to this boutique off and on since moving to this area. It's located in at Plaza Bella behind the Shrimp Boat on Bloomingdale in Valrico. They really do carry a lot of unique items for the Florida home as well as designer accessories, jewelry, outdoor/indoor garden décor, and so much more. They have a little of everything. They have scented candles, perfumes, jewelry, local toffee, handbags, clothes, picture frames, and lots of holiday décor. They have some cute Florida souvenirs for those out of town guests who want something special. They have tile with scenes of popular local scenery such as Armature Works, FishHawk, The Jose Gasparilla II Ship, Bayshore Blvd, and the list goes on. There are unique ornaments with these scenic attractions. You can basically walk into this store not knowing what you want and walk out with something very special. There's a reason why this boutique has been around for many years. Every time I go there, it's full of people shopping and browsing. The items are priced appropriately, and many are very reasonable. The staff are very helpful if you have any questions. They will also hold your items at the register area while you shop. I came here because they were sponsoring a plant show in the parking lot. After wandering around and purchasing plants I did not need but had to have, I decided to peruse the boutique. All I can say is - if you need a gift for someone, and you can't find it here - then it doesn't exist. They literally have something for everyone of almost every interest. All the little knick knacks that people love to give and receive are in this store. One side of the store actually had all the bits and pieces, while the other side of the store was a clothing boutique. The woman working the clothing side was extremely helpful and friendly, and I ended up purchasing two shirts and a pair of boots that were 40% off. From the other part of the store I bought ornaments, and the cutest pink mermaid planter. I would definitely stop by again if I were ever in the area read more

I have been a customer here for years. It is my go-to place for gifts, especially the swan creek candles! It is also where I send my husband to purchase many of my gifts. The staff is always friendly and helpful. One note regarding some of the other reviews I have read... If you are buying something you think you might want to return, first check out the return policy (that is CLEARLY posted) at the register. I used to love this store because it has nice things but very pricy. I was told I could get 20 dollars off for being a nurse. I just had to show my ID. There is stuff from floor to ceiling in this place. The aesthetic is definitely "wine mom who was once in a sorority." They carry Alex and Ani, Brighton and Pandora jewelry. I used to enjoy shopping here a lot. Up until recently. I've been coming to this location for several years now. I would shop here when I am in need of a unique gift for someone else, or just something thing I would like for myself. It is "VERY" apparent to me that the atmosphere is different. Except for maybe one person that has known me for several years, the employees appear to have let their positions go to their heads!(Not cool!) I'm no genius, but nor am I stupid. The nice/nasty demeanor of certain employees and how they portray that obvious fake demeanor just ticks me off. And I definitely noticed how their attitudes change when the owner or her son is around versus when these employees are on their own. Don't get me wrong, the owner and her son are very kind people. And I appreciate their kindness and help whenever they are present when I am in the store. However, I have shopped there many times and they're not always present. I realize people are going to judge you regardless of whether or not you treat them respectfully or with "GENUINE" kindness or respect. My recent issue is that the item that I was bringing back I did not have a receipt for and I told them upfront that I could not find it. The clerk proceeded to look in the computer and found my item in my account in their system. Yet this person then told me some type of garbled "BS" about my not being able to return the newly purchased item(if ill fitting) which it "DID" turn out to be. And the fake smile... Cheshire grin that she gave as she was saying this to me just made me want to curse her out! But... I just smiled and nodded my head and I'm thinking it's people like you that make businesses go under because of the way you treat customers. And furthermore I refuse to stoop to your level. It made absolutely no sense that for something that you can see the obvious purchase in your system... yet you're telling me that if anything's wrong I can't bring it back to exchange or return? Really? And.... since you've KNOWN me for quite a few years of shopping there. Therefore the fact that I don't like trying on clothes is NO secret to you? It was it as if it was some form of warped punishment. WTF? But... just as I always do when people are being unkind for no reason or disingenuous, I thought to myself..."You know that there are a lot of jerks out there whom are always gonna try you or to kill your vibe". It's up to as to how you choose to respond and I choose to take the high road I appreciate your apology but I amand walk away. And I just have to remember that people like that with their fake personas or bad attitudes Who choose to treat other people rudely or shady is a reflection of THEM not ME! I may not always say anything, but I'm "VERY" observant. I had thought that the store had basically cleaned house of some of the not so stellar employees that used to work there but I guess I was wrong! One important word in this situation....Karma! I don't see an area for me to respond but...since there is finally a response from this establishment, I feel as if I must address it. Years ago when I started shopping at the store I had a bad experience that put a bad taste in my mouth but I was able to talk to your son and address the poor behavior by the staff. I thought that was a wrap obviously I was wrong. I understand your wanting to defend your staff but if that's the case then a phone call to me or a private message would've been most appropriate. That way I could have given specifics and those who know that this message was not applicable to them "WOULD NOT" have a problem with it. Nor would they be offended by it. We are not children and those who know that my opinion... which is exactly what this is...does not apply to them would not be "HURT" and would keep it moving. It's the ones whom ARE hurt or offended because they know they got called out on their foul ways that have an issue regarding what was said and to be quite frank the truth hurts! It says that my review was posted 16 days ago so I'm just wondering why this is so important now? I didn't drop names... which I could have done. But I will drop two because these ladies are awesome and that would be Theresa and Camille. As you browse around you see a seemingly endless display of little knick knacks, jewelry, fragrances, more jewelry and some more jewelry. It's all beautiful, interesting and tasteful. Precious spent literally two hours just walking around browsing. This is not the place to go to get something you need. This is the place to go to buy stuff you don't need. I went to The Green Boutique today for new Brighton sunglasses. They had an ok selection, not a lot but decent. But what was not ok was being completely ignored and they where not busy. The place was dead. I admit I hadn't shopped there in years, I used to all the time when my daughter lived at home and have recently done most of my Brighton shopping in Lakeland at Yates and Hagan. I selected a pair of sunglasses and had to chase someone down to hold onto them so I could continue shopping. Selected another item and went to the counter to check out. I then stood there another 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me or check me out. It was ridiculous there was no one in the store maybe 2 shoppers besides me. Lady finally comes can't find the sunglasses I selected. I have to tell her where they are, cause I can see them. She was a total $itch! Checks my ID for my debit card! Oh wait now I remember why I shop at Yates and Hagan! Y'all are rude! I spent $160 plus to be treated like crap! Customer service does count, just because you have the product I want doesn't mean I'll be back! read more

I love love love this boutique! It always has the most unique gifts. While wedding planning I was able to find bride and groom champagne glasses here at a reasonable price. This is the place to go when buying something for the woman who has everything. Purses, jewelry, clothes, a little bit of everything. There are baby gifts that you can find at many places. The store is a decent size and the staff is friendly as soon as you walk in you are greeted. I love coming here so much that I joined the email mailing list for updates. I've been coming to this shop for over 10 years now very nice has everything you need and more but, I have found that the women here are very pushy and snobby and they think they're better than you and they're not.!! Most of all when someone tells you something and you go back several weeks later and they do not live up to what they told you this pisses me off especially when now I have wasted money and I can't get my money back. Love this place!! Staff is wonderful and friendly and they have a great selection of everything! By the end of my shopping experience the staff was calling me by my first name.
