The inside was pretty big with adult books in the middle, children's book on one side and crafts on the other - such as yarn, ribbons and even greeting cards. They also sold lotions, soaps and lots of book accessories. Staff kept to themselves and didn't really ask if we needed assistance finding books which I thought was odd, but they weren't necessarily unfriendly either. The few books I looked at, seemed to sell for face value and nothing was marked up or down. Overall, I thought it was a nice store and would stop in for another visit the next time I'm in town. We had such a great time at this antique shop in downtown Sonora! The lady at the counter was super nice and even let my kids each pick out a sticker, which totally made their day! They have used and brand new books, but buying used that are still in in mint condition and low price is amazing. We were told that they accept used books of any kind and will get a lifetime credit that never expires. Once you get a credit and buys a used book, the price will be less 50% from the written price. This is an awesome deal. We will surely come back here.

As the name suggests, you can bring your gently used books in and they will keep a record of them, and you will receive a discount of roughly half off of whatever you decide to buy in exchange for bringing in your old books. This turns out to be a great value considering the good condition and broad variety of the books that they carry. We can always find something good to read, and the price is definitely always easy on the pocketbook. The lovely people who work here are very well informed. I was looking for a classic by Pearl S Buck, and she knew exactly where it was located in the store. I have confidence in these guys, and I know that I can check with them before I go look elsewhere. A must see for any avid reader or bibliophile.

Great selection of older and contemporary books as well as fun offerings of blind dates with books. I also love their local authors support and see planets of more things to explore.
