IN THE PAST, I'd walk in to the office waiting room and go to the service window and sign in... the staff member would verify my doctor's order/request and tell me to sit until they call my name (a lesser wait if you have an appointment but it was not required). BUT ON THIS DAY, I entered the waiting room but then service window was missing.... it was literally gone and now there is only a couple of digital kiosks to sign in. I don't know the info for everything, I have a couple questions and I don't know if I signed in correctly. There is a glass door into the offices so we knock but no one came. AFTER 30 MINUTES my name is called... as I walk to the door, another gentleman that was clearly as frustrated as I was, asked the girl a question... she was rude and short with him. WHY ? ? ? There is no one to help and this guy in about 80 years old left to figure out the digital system. She could've helped but instead she just told him he signed in wrong and to do it again (no offer to assist). Another phlebotomist takes me to a room beyond the glass door and she asks for my doctors order (referral) and I told her it was sent from the doctor's office. She RUDELY told me it was not; so I called right in front of her and they said it was sent and even gave me the date and time. The staff member really did not care and said I need it from the doctor so I told her I will have them send it over right away... didn't matter because the Quest phlebotomist said regardless of when we get it, it will take at least 45 minutes to process. I understand the wait to process but the RUDENESS and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS INTOLERABLE so I left... and the waste of time of not being able to sign in with a staff member (could've told me they were missing my referral before wasting so much time) Per recommendation of one of my doctor's staff members, I ended up at LabCorp... they were night and day to Quest.

I went to Quest this morning for a blood draw, and once again, it was a very frustrating…read moreexperience. Before arriving, I drank about 2 liters of water to help with the process, but it made no difference. As soon as I was called in, I clearly explained to the technician that I consistently have difficulty with blood draws. I told her that my right arm does not produce blood and that my left arm is very difficult. In my last three visits, I was stuck at least three times each time, and they always had to call the most experienced staff member to complete the draw. I even mentioned that during my last visit, they had to recline me with my legs elevated and use a hot pack on my arm just to get it done. Based on that history, I respectfully asked if I could be assisted directly by the most experienced technician. Instead of listening, she became defensive and insisted she knew what she was doing. She proceeded anyway and, as expected, was unable to draw blood. She moved the needle around repeatedly and applied excessive pressure, causing unnecessary discomfort, and still did not succeed. When I reminded her that I had explained this beforehand, she blamed my veins, saying they are too small and "move." She then insisted on trying my right arm, which I had already clearly refused because it has never worked. I had to firmly repeat that I would not allow it. At that point, she became visibly irritated. Only after all of this did she finally bring in a more experienced staff member, who was able to draw my blood successfully. This is not an isolated incident. It has become a pattern at Quest, and I have already reported similar experiences in previous surveys. This situation is completely avoidable. My request is simple: please document in my profile that I am a difficult draw and should be handled by the most experienced technician available. This would prevent unnecessary pain, repeated needle sticks, and stressful interactions for both patients and staff. On top of all this, the same technician added my credit card to my profile and set it for automatic charges without my knowledge or consent. At no point did she ask for my permission or explain that she was doing this. This is completely unacceptable and a serious breach of trust.

Feeling anxious about being tested for medical problems in the first place, I probably should have asked for more info or put up more of a fight but I just went with it. I was already anxious and was not wanting to be seen as one of those crazy, annoying customers that customer service so often has to put up with. Lesson learned, I will put up more of a fight next time. And lesson to all, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. Also please note per attached email that they see nothing wrong in just charging your card and to get your billing info from your insurance company. In what world is that ok? The 1 lady standing there didn't have an appointment and ended up being crazy and wasting like 40 minutes going insane about getting a cholesterol test results that day. She kept making the front desk girl call the lab, call the courier, call her manager, just absolute insanity. Finally the crazy lady came to her senses and felt bad and told front desk girl to draw my blood. But the front desk girl should have done mine first on her own, then returned to the crazy lady. The blood draw was fine, the front desk girl was nice, and I got my results in a timely manner (I did not insist on getting my results on a Saturday ). I would have given 5 stars had it not been for that. They should have had another phlebotomist there and again, my appointment should have been handled first. I wouldn't have been as irritated had I just walked in with no appointment.

Sweet, personable, and got my blood drawn the first time and quickly without hurting me. This is great when fasting and ready to go and get my food and coffee! It's also located in a busy parking lot right next to Target which is convenient. My only critique is that there is no person up front to speak to, so if you have a question or need to use the restroom you have to attack the person who is calling the next victim, er, I mean patient. But there is a screen showing how many people are ahead of you and next which is nice. And they don't have the full name for PHI purposes. I will continue to come here for the foreseeable future!

This location is gorgeous in set up and is very clean. I had to get two ultra sounds done due to pain. I was able to get a cd right away. And my doctors got my results within 24-48 hours. Turned out nothing to be serious and it was just a cyst and fibroid. Glad I got it checked and tested by getting these tests done. The technician was excellent. She was gentle and good in communication. She told me exactly what she was doing etc. Side Note- They offer drinks if you need them after your tests. They have a variety of sodas, teas, hot chocolate and coffee. ~
