The hotel is located right in the center and there are numerous restaurants within walking distance. Guacamole is pretty much right outside of the door as well as a lot of other restaurants. Toca de Jurere is pretty close as well if you want some awesome seafood. All of the receptionists speak english so you won't have any problems communicating with them. Prices can fluctuate depending on the time of the year so if they are on the cheaper/affordable side, I strongly suggest staying here.

Service was excellent, as the front desk staff spoke great English and was very helpful in giving us directions and information about Florianopolis.
